Stopped in with a friend to get some pastries, and I was very pleasantly surprised with how cute this place was! The decor is top-tier. You can tell that they put time and effort into every inch of the restaurant. Honestly, every single nook in the restaurant is a photo worthy nook. We were greeted by a very friendly person behind the cash register who was patient while I was trying to make my decision on what pastry to get. I ended up going with the cinnamon cruffin with cream cheese. I haven't had very cruffins in my life, but the ones I have had I have typically liked, and this one was no exception. I personally am a huge cinnamon lover, so I do wish it had a bit more cinnamon, but the cream cheese was the perfect amount to complement the pastry but not overpower the pastry. I will definitely be back and next time I might even pick up some treats for the office!

What a cute little bakery specializing in French pastries. The Cruffin is a croissant in a muffin form and taste so delicious! There are many flavor varieties to choose from and makes it difficult to decide what to get. I tried the Dulce de Leche and loved it so much! The flaky croissant combined with the creamy caramel topping make a perfect combination. I saw the Ube flavor but it was sold out by the time I got there. The cafe also serves savory pastries, sandwiches, coffee, tea and refreshers. I've visited twice and tried the Blueberry Muffin Latte hot & iced. I prefer the hot over the iced because it had more of the blueberry flavor. This place is definitely one of my pit stops whenever I'm in the area!

We dined in on a Saturday. Being a breakfast restaurant on a weekend we expected a wait. We did not expect an almost 45 minute wait between entering and getting our food but they were training new staff which is challenging especially on a weekend. We ordered a s'mores latte, a brownie croissant, a walnut Brie croissant sandwich and an og to go. All the food was delicious with beautifully flaky pastry and generous fillings. The latte was very sweet but was to be expected when ordering a s'mores latte. Overall we would return but maybe not on a weekend

I wish I could offer more than five stars. Miss Cruffin is one of the best little cafes in our area. Not only are the croissants, cruffins, and pastries beautiful and delicious, but the staff is so sweet and accommodating. We went on a rainy morning, and snagged a little table, although I absolutely loved the couch/lounge set up to the side. We ordered a pistachio raspberry and a dubai chocolate and both were phenomenal. Light and flaky, made fresh that morning, and full of yummy, quality ingredients. We loved it so much that we ordered a small assortment of treats to take home. Coffee drinks were on point, too! We have been several times for takeout, and I can't wait to go back again!

What a gem of a bakery All the pastries I got were delicious! They're not only good but they're big in size hehe. I didnt stay at the place, got it to go but the decor is so cozy. And they were so friendly. Worth a visit if youre looking to eat some baked goods. Didn't get to try any drinks so I have to come next time for that.

Amazing pastries every time. Worth the drive to enjoy their delicious treats. If you haven't tried Miss Cruffin yet, you are missing out! The service is fantastic and the shop itself is welcoming with both inside and outside seating. Our box contained a variety of pastries that were all fresh and delicious.

"Miss Cruffin" After thoughts: My only mistake was not stepping inside last weekend--happily corrected today! Tucked in Julington Square Shopping Center, this charming bake shop makes a warm first impression. The elegant, polished décor is visually pleasing and provides plenty of seating to enjoy a pastry and a cup of Java. Staff were kind, patient, and answered all of our questions with genuine care. JAVA:    *   Autumn Pistachio Oat Milk Latte - A fantastic first choice! Flavorful, balanced, with just the right blend of syrup and espresso.    *   Slice of Pie Oat Milk Latte - Delightful and well-crafted. It truly captured the essence of pie in a bold yet delicate sip.    *   Caramel Macchiato Oat Milk Latte - A standard option, but less memorable. The flavor lingered in a way that could be improved. Pastries:    *   S'mores Croissant - Absolutely delicious! Moist, delicately layered, filled with Nutella and marshmallow cream, and topped with crunch pellets, Teddy Grahams, and mini marshmallows. A fun yet balanced treat.    *   Pain au Choc - A bit on the dry side, with dark chocolate that dominated the pastry. While I enjoyed the chocolate, the dryness was hard to overlook. Takeaway Gifts (friends' feedback):    *   Strawberry White Chocolate Croissant - A hit! Not overly sweet, with whipped cream that added the perfect touch. Great for breakfast or an afternoon pick-me-up.    *   Pistachio Raspberry Croissant - Feedback pending.    *   Almond Croissant - The almond was so good!!! So flaky and the almond paste so yummy. Not too sweet either. Worked well with braces! As we finished our order, the shop began to fill up, and I had to get back in line for my takeaway pastries--a good sign of growing popularity! A special thank you to Ms. Cruffin for the extra Slice of Pie Latte! This hidden gem is a must-try and a repeat stop. Wishing continued success and busy days ahead! of 5 (5 of 5)

I tried this place on Too Good To Go and wow everything was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend trying the savory dishes. I had some sort of ham and cheese that I need to go back and try it again! The cruffins are huge and plenty for a nice snack or breakfast. The place is cute with some picture opportunities for Instagram. The staff was friendly and professional.

Fabulous service, absolutely fabulous. The display case looks like it's something you would see in New York City at a high-end bakery . The restaurant is spotless, The flavors include things like strawberry white, chocolate, Chocolate au pain, Cinnamon cream cheese, and sandwiches like Walnut honey Brie, Turkey bacon egg and cheese. So what did I try? Pistachio and raspberry croissant To buy chocolate croissant And while I gave this Location five stars, and have bragged about their service and their display, but I have to tell you I didn't like the croissants. Not that they weren't cooked beautifully, or flavored wonderfully, because they were.. But I just have a preference for more filling and less bread, if that makes sense. The croissants were so beautifully prepared however, I guess I was expecting something like a filled donut, where every bite you take gives you that fruity taste. I think it's just personal preference, I'm gonna go back and try the preference, and the breakfast sandwiches because this place truly is special.

Service food and ambience are top notch. Small place but so cute and everything we had delish. Want to come back and try the savory options. But a major plus for the orange creme cruffin so yummy and super fresh flavors.

This was the cutest little French bakery with the nicest people. Everyone was so helpful and sweet, especially with it being my first time visiting. They had such a large variety of French pastries in so many flavors that all looked so delicious. I couldn't help myself but to get multiple pastries and they all were amazing! I also got the chocolate chaud (French hot chocolate) that was the perfect pair with my pastries!

I always end up ordering way too many goodies for one person. First off, these pastries are beautiful to feast your eyes on. The layered butter flakiness of the croissants paired with the not overly sweet creamy fillings gets me every time. I'm more of a savory person but LOVE their filled croissants. The pistachio is my fave of the sweet. Haven't tried everything just yet but I'm making my rounds. The family that owns the place are just the sweetest folks around.

Linda L.

The pastries were delicious fresh, flaky, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. While the coffee could be improved, I'd definitely come back just for the pastries. Service was great, and the ambiance was cozy, clean, and inviting with a beautiful pastry display. Overall, a lovely spot and worth a visit.

The next morning, we had the sausage and scallion bun at home. I liked it, maybe more than the pork bun, and would get it again, though it had the advantage of being reheated at home in the microwave. My wife liked the dough, the hot dog less so (and I must admit the hot dog in the croissant we had a while ago at Cruffin & Tea was better). I'd get this again, though probably trying the regular hot dog bun instead of the scallion one next time. I'd asked the server if she could reheat our items when I bought them, but she said no, and didn't seem to understand English well. So far, I've preferred the savory things to the sweets here. Each item was $3-3.25, so a better value than the other bakeries I go to. I will return to this place periodically, but I still prefer places like Cruffin & Tea and Le Petit Paris, so I'm giving Mai Xiang Garden Bakery an average rating, 3 stars: pretty good, but not above average for a bakery, other than the good value.

From the moment we laid eyes on the pastry case, our jaws were on the floor. Everything we had was amazing -- the breakfast sandwich on sourdough, ham & cheese croissant, matcha cheesecake blueberry croissant tart, and the brie country ham & hot honey galette. JUST WOW! We also got some lattes to fuel our morning and I opted for their special brown butter sesame latte -- yum! The bakery itself is very cute with some market and pantry items available to shop as well. The staff was very patient as we asked a million questions about all the pastries before making our selections. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the downtown Jax area!

Then he took his time to give me a tour of the sweet and savory bakery items that they have on display and taught me how to select items by choosing a basket and a set of tongs for my choices.
