Miss Cruffin's is a unique little pastry shop around the corner from my house. Their croissant-muffins are one of the more unusual creations I've had and I love the options they have for flavor/fillings like nutella, guava, meat/cheese and more. They also have some great coffee house drinks here plus fun drinks for kiddos (like lemonade with lavender - yum). The shop itself is pretty small, but decorated in a cozy way. There are also games and things to do if you're inclined. Definitely recommend giving them a try if you're looking for something new. read more

A friend just moved to St. Johns County and I seized the opportunity to try Miss Cruffin. The establishment is neatly placed in a shopping plaza with patrons coming in and out all morning. Everything looked amazing so I was so confused as to what to try first. I decided on a caramel latte (improvised because I got to have caramel), a strawberry cream cheese cruffin and several pastries to go. I want to say that the cruffin was one of the best things I ever tasted. It was light, flaky but also hearty and sweet. My friend tried a piece of mine and had to order her own. The service was amazing items were made in a good time frame. I did notice customers ordering boxes filled with pastries so I'll assume that everything is good here. The building is a little on the smaller size so although you can seat and enjoy, it can get crowded if too many people have that idea. She does have outdoor seating. We've tried so many things from Miss Cruffin this week while my daughter was visiting us from out of town, and everything has been absolutely delicious! They have so many unique bakery items, and the coffee is just as good. It was so much fun trying something different each time. My personal favorite was the cinnamon roll cruffin. It was incredible! The shop is also such a cute little spot, and the owner is so nice and friendly. You can relax and enjoy your treats inside or take them outside and enjoy them there. Oohhh these were so good, perfectly buttery flakey croissants and pastries! It's down in Fruit Cove, next to the lil Walmart. Walking in it's small and cozy, with a beautiful pastry case everything looked delicious! The girl working was so sweet and helpful telling me how to heat up the pastries if I wanted. little did she know one of them didn't even make it home, lol, eaten right in the car! I got a too good to go box from Miss Cruffin. It was a great way to have some items just picked for me because I just can't decide! This was my first time having an actual cruffin, and I am bummed to say, they are just not for me. I like croissants. I like muffins. But together... not so much. I can, however, tell you if that's your thing you will likely love these! The pastry was so perfectly made. And you can tell it's high quality ingredients, made with love. I did love my almond croissant tho (and probably would have been thrilled with a box full of just these!). And the pain au chocolate type pastry I had was delicious as well. It's such a cute little spot and the service is always so wonderful. I will go back again and again. Wow. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I've waited so long to try this and place! On the bad side, I've been missing out for so long on the good side. I didn't know how great this place was and have saved myself a lot of trips across the bridge and down the road to get cruffins. Food--10/10. Fluffy, buttery heaven presented in fun and creative ways. These were beyond delightful!! Miss. Cruffin is so yummy!! We visited today for a snack and service was fast. They were all friendly. I love the inside, it is so pretty and cozy! They have all different Plants hanging all over and a cute spot for taking pictures. There is indoor and outdoor seating so you can usually find a spot to eat. What a cute little bakery specializing in French pastries. The Cruffin is a croissant in a muffin form and taste so delicious! There are many flavor varieties to choose from and makes it difficult to decide what to get. I tried the Dulce de Leche and loved it so much! The flaky croissant combined with the creamy caramel topping make a perfect combination. I saw the Ube flavor but it was sold out by the time I got there. The cafe also serves savory pastries, sandwiches, coffee, tea and refreshers. I've visited twice and tried the Blueberry Muffin Latte hot & iced. I prefer the hot over the iced because it had more of the blueberry flavor. This place is definitely one of my pit stops whenever I'm in the area! read more

Stopped in with a friend to get some pastries, and I was very pleasantly surprised with how cute this place was! The decor is top-tier. You can tell that they put time and effort into every inch of the restaurant. Honestly, every single nook in the restaurant is a photo worthy nook. We were greeted by a very friendly person behind the cash register who was patient while I was trying to make my decision on what pastry to get. I ended up going with the cinnamon cruffin with cream cheese. I haven't had very cruffins in my life, but the ones I have had I have typically liked, and this one was no exception. I personally am a huge cinnamon lover, so I do wish it had a bit more cinnamon, but the cream cheese was the perfect amount to complement the pastry but not overpower the pastry. Not only are the croissants, cruffins, and pastries beautiful and delicious, but the staff is so sweet and accommodating. We went on a rainy morning, and snagged a little table, although I absolutely loved the couch/lounge set up to the side. We ordered a pistachio raspberry and a dubai chocolate and both were phenomenal. Light and flaky, made fresh that morning, and full of yummy, quality ingredients. I don't think you can get anything there that tastes bad. The lattes are some of the best I've ever had, especially for a place that's known for baked goods and not coffee. We dined in on a Saturday. Being a breakfast restaurant on a weekend we expected a wait. We did not expect an almost 45 minute wait between entering and getting our food but they were training new staff which is challenging especially on a weekend. We ordered a s'mores latte, a brownie croissant, a walnut Brie croissant sandwich and an og to go. All the food was delicious with beautifully flaky pastry and generous fillings. I have been wanting to come here, so I had the perfect opportunity to come for breakfast on a Thursday morning. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and it was like walking into a French cafe, with iron chairs and tables, macaroni decorations, and a green wall with the menu. There were so many options, but the pan au chocolate caught my eye and I always like a cappuccino. I chose an original cruffin to take home to my husband, covered with cinnamon sugar. For all three items, it was around $15. There was a wait for the food and drinks, but as you can see from my picture, they put a personal touch on the cappuccino with the milk decoration and the pan au chocolate was warmed. The owners were super friendly and talked with everyone who came in. I was pleased with my pan au chocolate, which is exactly what I was looking for in a pastry with warmth, chocolate, crunchiness, and size. The cappuccino was smooth and not bitter.
