There are many flavor varieties to choose from and makes it difficult to decide what to get. I tried the Dulce de Leche and loved it so much! The flaky croissant combined with the creamy caramel topping make a perfect combination. I saw the Ube flavor but it was sold out by the time I got there. The cafe also serves savory pastries, sandwiches, coffee, tea and refreshers. I've visited twice and tried the Blueberry Muffin Latte hot & iced. I always end up ordering way too many goodies for one person. First off, these pastries are beautiful to feast your eyes on. Not only are the croissants, cruffins, and pastries beautiful and delicious, but the staff is so sweet and accommodating. We went on a rainy morning, and snagged a little table, although I absolutely loved the couch/lounge set up to the side. We ordered a pistachio raspberry and a dubai chocolate and both were phenomenal. Light and flaky, made fresh that morning, and full of yummy, quality ingredients. We dined in on a Saturday. Being a breakfast restaurant on a weekend we expected a wait. We did not expect an almost 45 minute wait between entering and getting our food but they were training new staff which is challenging especially on a weekend. We ordered a s'mores latte, a brownie croissant, a walnut Brie croissant sandwich and an og to go. All the food was delicious with beautifully flaky pastry and generous fillings. We stopped by Miss Cruffin recently for coffee and dessert and it was an amazing experience. Great friendly service. The shop is clean, vibrant and quaint. The coffee and croissants outstanding. We were met politely and told of window choices that were still available. I'm not surprised that they were sold out of some choices in the early afternoon. I chose an Americano coffee and we shared the pistachio/raspberry croissant and the Dubai chocolate croissant as well. Everything was fantastic. My coffee, bold and fresh, very good Americano. The croissants were both home runs. The croissant itself is outstanding, what puts it over the top is the outstanding cremes and flavors...simply masterful. A little slice of Paris in Jacksonville! I finally had the chance to swing by Miss Cruffin the other morning, and wow! I'm already planning my return. The pastry case alone is worth the visit: beautifully arranged, overflowing with flaky, golden perfection, and filled with so many tempting options it was nearly impossible to choose. I landed on the spinach and goat cheese pain suisse, and let me just say... oh. my. goodness. It was the most perfectly flaky pastry I've had since visiting France. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and it was like walking into a French cafe, with iron chairs and tables, macaroni decorations, and a green wall with the menu. There were so many options, but the pan au chocolate caught my eye and I always like a cappuccino. I chose an original cruffin to take home to my husband, covered with cinnamon sugar. For all three items, it was around $15. There was a wait for the food and drinks, but as you can see from my picture, they put a personal touch on the cappuccino with the milk decoration and the pan au chocolate was warmed. The owners were super friendly and talked with everyone who came in. I've been hearing about Miss Cruffins and was dying to try it (OK, not necessarily dying, but really wanting to try it). I've heard that they continuously sell out, due to sheer popularity, so I was a little worried that I got a later start that morning and didn't arrive there until 10:30 am on a weekday. They are located on Racetrack Rd, in the Walmart Plaza. I found a parking spot in front of the location. When we arrived they were totally out of cruffins. A bit of a bummer, but they did have multiple savory and sweet croissants available, so I went that route. I decided to get a chocolate croissant, a savory three cheese croissant, an iced almond milk latte, and my sister asked her to grab her a chocolate filled croissant (it had chocolate ganache inside) and a spinach and feta croissant. My mom also came with me and she got a three cheese croissant and a chocolate croissant and an iced mocha. The staff was super friendly and right after I paid for my order, a whole tray of fresh cinnamon and sugar cruffins were brought out. So I did what any foodie would do, I got a cruffin. My coffee and items came out quickly. I couldn't wait and dug into my cruffin. It was light, flakey, cinnamony, and sugary, and tasted like a sweet cloud. We were terribly obnoxious and ordered so many croissants to split among our group of 4 and they were so so patient with us. Didn't even bat an eye! The Dubai chocolate croissant is SUPER rich. I enjoyed the pistachio raspberry croissant much better as it wasn't as sweet. I however thought the croissant was so-so.
