Quoted 13 mins through the app to get there 2 mins after the quoted time and my simple order isn't ready. Waited 20 extra mins. 4-5 people behind the food making counter and no one is greeting incoming customers. Had to wait to get attention of one of the female workers who had the audacity to have an attitude lol. Oh and every other order besides mines that was already paid for was not set into a bag so I can just leave. Customer service needs work for sure. I honestly miss the days of dining and eating normally in a restaurant. Oh well end of my sob story. Lately, I have been eating a lot at home, but tonight I really didn't feel like cooking, but also I didn't want to wait a long time for food, so since I was in the area due to work, I decided to go in to Wawas and grab a quick bite. My friend who is flight attendant swears by this place when she gets home late from a trip. I've been to Wawas before to get gas and grab a snack, but today I really walked around and saw that this gas station is a little more complex than I thought. I spent at least 15 minutes looking at the variety of things in the store. There is the traditional side for on the run snacks and drinks to the right of the store. In the middle is where you can order customized food on the kiosk. Then to the left is an area devoted to coffee. I decided to get a club sandwich and an ice cream sundae (in the dead of winter lol). The food was okay. I kind of wish that I would have tried something different, but the good things there are choices. read more

I've been coming to this Wawa since it opened a couple of years ago. The staff over time has always been kind, attentive and helpful. Food and beverage crew are always great too, though stock can be hit or miss on some of my favorite items sometimes. (it took me several visits to catch them on a day they had peppermint bark for the peppermint steamer.) Depending on how busy it gets can totally make or break your visit, I feel. The music here is always throwback hits I would've heard on my sister's old itunes playlists and that's a vibe I wasn't exactly prepared to love. read more

This location is very hard to get to, coming from the east & leaving heading west. I filled up with gas. The squeegee did not work work a darn-it needed to be thrown away and replaced. I am only reviewing on the gas/outside of Wawa. The gas pump area looked pretty clean and picked up. I hope it stays this way. Now, my biggest pet peeve is when the pump is out of paper and I don't get my receipt. That's a real downer. I refuse to go inside to get my receipt because I was in a hurry, tired and ready to get Ernie home. I will update my review after other visits. We always get our gas from Wawa because they accept Apple Pay. It is so convenient just using your phone and not having to slide a card into the machine or go in to a cashier. Not only do we purchase our gas there but we really enjoy a Wawa salad. The kiosk style ordering lets you custom make a variety of salads and sandwiches. We usually order a custom salad with a mixed lettuce base, grilled chicken, carrots, onion, cheese, bacon and an egg with ranch dressing. The salads are quite large so sometimes I save half for dinner! Seriously, you should give Wawa a try the next time you want a quick and convenient lunch even if you don't need a fill up! read more

Finally checked out Hoagie Fest at our new local Wawa. It was a fun experience. First, you choose and customize your order on a screen. Then you pay at the register and wait for them to prep your order. This Wawa was crazy busy. Makes sense as this corner was begging for a gas station. We had to wait a bit for our order. We ate on the benches out on the patio. It was clean and spacious and there were other families doing the same thing. My sub was decent - chicken chipolte philly with veggies on top. Loved the roasted red peppers! My kids preferred the side items over their subs. About $30 for 4 subs, a soda and 5 or 6 add-on items like mac n cheese, melon, chips. read more

Yeah that's right, five stars for a gas station. But this isn't your local rundown Texaco, this is a brand new Wawa; and it kinda transcends gas stations. Because it's new, the cleanliness is a bit of a given, but it's still nice to see that in the first month of operation they've kept on top of things. The people who work there are always pleasant and friendly, and I feel that in a way, that friendliness sticks to the people shopping there too. People hold the door, they smile, and all seem genuinely happy to be at a Wawa. And now the food. The touch screen ordering is great for customizing your order without the Subway experience of watching them roll their eyes as you ask for extra jalapeños. You get the exact sandwich you want (and you know what, it's a lot better tasting than Subway). I got the Philly Cheesesteak (which came with an actual cheese sauce!), and it was delicious. Great hoagie roll, lots of hot peppers, and the steak was of much better quality than you'd expect. The side of chipotle mac & cheese was not bad, but honestly I'd probably just go for a bag of Herr's potato chips instead next time. For being chipotle mac, it didn't have much heat to speak of, and the noodles were unfortunately a bit mushy. But it at least had a good flavor to it. For some reason this Wawa just doesn't spark anything extra. It doesn't kiss me off enough to give it 1-2 stars but it doesn't make me happy enough for 4-5. The workers simply exist and do their job. None too enthusiastic but also not so full of dread it makes you want to play in traffic. They do their job, and that I do appreciate. Food is great. Lines move quickly. It's a decently efficient station so for a lot of people I imagine it would be great. I however just love the drama of the extremes. I need super amazing or terrible lol. So I finally made it to the brand, spanking new WaWa in my neighborhood. I have been avoiding it because of the immense crowds at all times of the day since it opened. Also, my loyalty to another locally owned convenience store kept me away. My wife and kids have been. My wife brought home hoagies that were very good. We got some amazing coupons in the mail that my kids used. So I finally went it to get a pack of gum. I must admit, I was a bit overwhelmed. The store is huge. Very nice inside. Well lit. I absolutely LOVE Wawa in general. When it first opened customer service was AMAZING! I went there many times a week for iced coffee, coffee, sandwiches, beer, and smoothies. Oh yea, and gas. The customer service wasn't the greatest for a bit. (1 star taken away). They have messed up (like severely messed up) my, and my husbands salad order a few times. One time the employee argued with my husband about it. (customer service). All Wawa's in the Jax area have gotten rid of their iced coffee machines. I am so upset about it-I gave their cold brew Iced coffee a try and YUCK!!! Bring back the machines!! read more

Been excited for this particular location to open since it's very close to our home. This Wawa has been open a few weeks now, and I wish they had more help preparing hot food orders. We waited 20 minutes for two items, one being a bagel breakfast sandwich. The bagel was hard as a rock, even my dog has trouble chewing it. I love WaWa but this location is NOT good with keeping the breakfast sandwiches available in the early mornings. I work at Mayport Naval Station and I usually stop in between 5:30-5:45 a.m. and on many occasions there aren't many if any at all breakfast sandwiches available. When they do have some they only fill one of the hot cases! With all the military, civilians and contractors one would think they'd have it together but they don't!! I stopped twice this week and needless to say I left and went next door to Starbucks all because there weren't any breakfast sandwiches!!
