Loved that we could add whatever toppings and sauces with no extra cost to truly make a burger to our preference. They even had the option to put it on a lettuce wrap which I always enjoy. My veggie burger and fries hit the spot today- the best part- a mere $11 meal! I chose to have my veggie burger with grilled mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, spicy mayo and of course extra pickles. Every bite was crisp, satisfying and flavorful. Also HUGE shoutout to the employee who informed me that the onion rings are cooked in the same fryer as meat, but the fries are in a vegetarian gluten free fryer. This is a nice new to me burger place at the beaches. It is small. So grab a seat soon as you can, after you order to the counter. They keep everything clean. Tales and chairs in good condition. I ordered the double burger with all add one available. I added lettuce, tomato, pickle, jalapeño too. The burger was a nice flavor. You can tell they do not freeze their meat. Very good taste. I stopped by Relish for lunch and there was no line. The service was efficient and I was in and out with my to-go order in less than 10 minutes. The decor is very casual with random wall hangings, from surfboards to license plates to beer paraphernalia. The seating area appeared to be large enough for the small restaurant. The menu is simple - beef, salmon, impossible or turkey burgers, or a choice of a chicken sandwich or a hot dog. The sides are fries or onion rings. They offer sweet potato fries and loaded fries. Sodas and shakes round out the menu. I opted for a single cheeseburger, fries, and a cookies n cream shake. After ordering, I moved to the toppings bar to dress my bun. I loved that I got to decide what came on my burger as a number of combinations were possible, making it such that every visit can yield a different burger. The shake was ready fast and it was thick and creamy...just delicious. I wish they had larger straws though as the tiny straws made sucking the shake challenging until it melted some and there was no hope for getting the cookie bits. They cook the burger fresh and mine was nice and hot when it was bagged along with what appeared to be hand cut fries. The burger and fries were very good. The burger bun was a quality bun that didn't get soggy despite it being wrapped, the meat was good but could've been a bit more seasoned, and the fries were nicely salted. I liked their curry ketchup for a little flavor and spice. This is a great little burger joint that I'll visit again! read more

Ohhhhhhh this burger was gooooood! Just what I needed after a 2 hour drive from Orlando. I was craving a burger so after we checked into our hotel I googled "burger near me" and this place popped up. When we arrived the parking lot was empty but it's also the middle of February in a beach town, I'm expecting everywhere to be like that this weekend. This is a counter service restaurant so you order at the counter starting with your base. How many patties and priced add ons. I chose the single patty with bacon and cheese that are both extra but price reasonably. Then you move to the window counter to pick your other toppings. I added lettuce, pickles, onion and mayo but they also had crunchy onions, olives, jam???? that you put on toast, and many other sauce options!!! Everything was so fresh and I loved that it was made to order. The fries were also amazing! Cooked perfect and they have shakers with Cajun seasoning or garlic parm, 10/10. I wish I had gotten a shake because those looked amazing as well. I took a friend to dinner as he's moving out of state next week, and he chose Relish. I was excited as this was my first time. Relish was located in the old Pita Pit at Jax Beach. They completely remodeled the building. The restaurant was clean and the employees were friendly. We placed our orders then stepped to the left to pick our toppings. This was a time saver as they build your sandwich while the burger is being cooked. I ordered a Single Tasty with cheese (cheese is an extra $1), topped with lettuce, tomato, onion (bonus, they had red) and two jalapenos with yellow mustard. I also ordered onion rings. We got our drinks, found a table and waited for our name to be called. The wait was less than five minutes for our order. I grabbed my tray and headed to the sauce bar where I added squirts of ketchup and cajun ketchup for dipping the onion rings. I also added a little garlic parm sprinkle to my burger. The burger was hot and juicy and the toppings were fresh. I enjoyed every bite! And the onion rings were cooked perfectly, crispy but not overcooked. The cajun ketchup was tasty, a little sweeter than the ketchup. I will be back again when I'm craving a burger! read more

Relish opened in Jax Beach recently and we decided to try it. I knew that it was a burger chain with locations in Gainesville and Tallahassee but that's about it. The place itself is pretty small. The ordering process isn't the most efficient. One cashier takes the order, and then you wait for other staff to put all of the toppings on the bun, then you sit and wait for the burger to be cooked before your name is called to pick up the order. The line backs up very quickly as they are trying a pseudo-Chipotle type of system. Not sure there isn't a more efficient way to have the ordering done. I got a double with fries. First, don't expect too many fries. This isn't like some other burger chains where fries are overflowing. And for the price they should. But they were fine. My wife got the onion rings. Ok, but not great. A friend tried the poutine. It was also ok. Not sure any were exactly worth the price. The burgers themselves? Hope you like well done. Because that's how they're served. Almost a charred flavor to the burger. My wife got a single and felt that the bun was too big for it. I thought the bun worked fine for the double. The different toppings were nice and provided a good variety of things to put on the burger. They also have vegan options and a salmon burger, so non-red meat eaters can go for lunch. Overall it was ok. It's a burger place that's on the pricier side. If they can fix the ordering process I think it could be a decent addition to the Beach. read more

The turkey burger I felt like was really flavorless and very thin so you really couldn't taste it amongst the big bun. The onion rings were like any other frozen food fried onion ring nothing else special to write home about. The ambience is like pretty much any fast food restaurant it's nothing special but it's casual for the beach area. For the cost, I was not real pleased, but I could see where others might would be. The single/double/triple comes as a simple burger that you can make as complicated as you want with everything from cheese and bacon to egg to avocade. You can customize your toppings, which is nice. The onion rings were good. Their tagline is "big tasty burgers". I would not consider the single burger to be big. I recently decided to try Relish Burgers because an old coworker of mine (shoutout to Madison!) started working there, and I'm so glad I did. When I say this place has the best burgers ever, I am not exaggerating. I've gotten burgers for my boyfriend and myself twice and once more for myself during my lunch break. I always go for the black bean burger with Swiss, big tasty sauce, tomato, grilled onion, and pickles, paired with a side of fries. It hits the spot every single time. The taste reminds me of Smashburger, but it's ten times better. For my boyfriend, I got the salmon burger with Cajun seasoning, spicy mayo, and chipotle sauce, as well as the chicken sandwich with the same toppings plus pickles. He agrees that everything is delicious. The fries are amazing, especially when they're fresh and hot. Honestly, they might just have the best fries for a burger spot. I think we found a new burger place closer to home! John mentioned burgers for lunch today (Monday) and our favorite place is closed on Monday's. I mentioned the new place that took over the old Pita Pit and John promptly agreed. 2 burgers, onion rings and a milkshake later- we agree, this is a great place to get a delicious burger! I like the fresh toppings you can customize your burger with too! I got a single patty, with cheese and bacon and got lettuce, tomato, pickles and french fried onions on mine. John is easy and just got light mayo and lettuce. The chocolate milkshake was very rich in chocolate flavor and quickly made. I think the turn around for food out impressed me as much as the taste!
