Jekyll Brewing is an awesome spot. Perfect location near the beach, food is really yummy, and the beer is great. Service was top-tier and we enjoyed our time for sure. A fun place to hangout, grab a bite, and have a beer.
Really gorgeous new delicious restaurant in Jax beach. Ample outdoor seating including rooftop seating. My mom said the mojito was one of the best she's ever had. The gumbo was flavorful, did not have any seafood. Pretzel was tasty as was the beer cheese. Glad to see a brewery that also serves cocktails. Homemade ranch was amazing!! Smash burger was phenomenal. Their ranch is out of this world. Beet salad had great dressing, was light and not overpowering. Fresh lettuce and pecans with a ricotta cheese side. The grilled chicken sandwich was nice and moist, came with an aioli sauce that was light and flavorful. The fries were hot and crispy. Beer was very fresh. The falafel apitozer has a tiny kick to it, the hummus is to die for. The patience and grace beer was our favorite though the mango seltzer was to die for! Lila was our server and extremely knowledgeable and attentive.
We decided to do a little bar crawl while in town for the Donna Marathon Weekend. This is a cute place, with indoor and outdoor seating. The bar looked pretty cool, but it was a little stuffy inside (warm) so we sat outside. The men enjoyed their beer while the ladies chose the High Water Seltzer. The strawberry and the blueberry were amazing! My husband thought his Southern Juice was a little tooo "juice" flavor.
I have come here on two separate occasions, both of which were lovely experiences. There are tons of options for drinks and food, and I haven't had anything bad yet. The service is good and the workers are friendly. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, with rooftop seating upstairs which is cool. I love that it's a brewery with more than just beer so there is something for everyone.
Cute spot. We went at night, but I've seen the pictures from the patio during the day and it looks really pretty. The beers were all great! They have these like alcohol seltzer's, which is a great option for those that aren't into beer. That was awesome too. I got a Bibb wedge salad with Shrimp. It was pretty good. I got a great amount of shrimp too. Chill spot. Good music/vibes
I really like this jax beach bar! I love the color scheme and style- very bright, fresh, clean & open. My favorite is sitting upstairs (indoors or outside) and having all the jax beach palm trees to look at! This two story bar has all the seating options- bar, tables, low top, high top, indoor, outdoor. For food I've had a falafel wrap that was really good, and a soft pretzel and fried pickles that were decent. Theres tons of beers & they change often. Nothing blew my mind, but love that you can sample them, and beers are always the right temp & the glassware is very clean. Actually I've found the entire place to be very clean. Service has been above average, no major complaints considering it's a jax beach bar lol.
We just happened to walk by this brand new restaurant/ brewery and it looked so nice I knew we needed to check it out! walking in about 8 pm it was packed! But it was no problem getting a table for us, I believe our server told us they make everything in house, which is great! We started with a few beers and I got a house made seltzer which is served over ice!? Everyone liked their drinks. For food we got pork rinds, wedge salad, fried chicken sandwich, and the wagyu bison burger..... out of all those my favorite was the wedge salad it was delicious, fresh with light dressing ( just how I like it! hate it when salads are dripping wet) and lots of crunchys on top! The rest of the food I thought was just ok kinda elevated bar food. Also have an upstairs open bar area! Nice addition to the area!
Great atmosphere, perfect outdoor space with ocean views and sunset. Fast, friendly service, and the food came out quickly! We loved the pretzel with beer cheese- the crystals of salt on top were shaved or something special- so good! The gator bites had a great crust and flavor, but the meat inside was grizzly and chewy. The crab hush puppies had that same great salt on top which made them extra tasty! My kids shared a shrimp meal (we still took some home, but they're toddlers) they loved the fries and the hush puppies! The mussels weren't that great. The toast was tasty when dipped in the juice, but if you're looking for mussels I'd go to The Fish Company The pork sliders were a bit spicy- a little more than expected - good- maybe a little too spicy The grits?! Wow! Almost taste like a buttered biscuit - so good! They're not the creamy grits we were used to so an expected deliciousness Overall the atmosphere is loud- which is great with kids our age - they're not distracting anyone! Haha My husband got a copper brown nitro and he liked it! I thought it was cool you could get a flight of beer or a flight of fresh squeezed juice - will have to try that next time!
The food was ok but the microbrewery was better! We sat upstairs and the view was great. We ordered the giant pretzel and the fried gator, the pretzel was really dense and not very flavorful but the gator was fried to perfection and the dipping sauce is a must! The wing sauce was delicious but the skin on them was chewy and felt undercooked. The burger was very tasty & juicy and the fresh cut fries dipped in the "come back" sauce were yummy. The chicken with black beans and pineapple salsa was the clear winner of the night as far as entrees go. Service was slow but I think that was because it was a Tuesday night and there were only a couple of servers. We'll definitely a visit again
Jekyll Brewing is an awesome beachside brewery! Hubby and I stopped in over the weekend and loved it. We each started with a flight to sample a few different styles. Pineapple habanero hop dang IPA was hubby's favorite. I liked the what'll ya have? breakfast stout quite a bit. The full pour came with a strip of bacon! A few of noteworthy brews include: Mike's maibock, sour thangs and nitro cooter brown ale. If you like dark beers like brown ales, stouts and porters, this is the place for you! They really do have something for everyone. Excellent location, service and brews! I can't wait until next time.
I came here for a book club meeting, and it was perfect. First off, bless our waitress for handling all 16 of us! The food and drinks were great, and the atmosphere was perfect. We sat inside at a long high-top table to accommodate us, and there was the perfect amount of room. After a while, since we were loud, we decided to sit outside, and it was just as great outside. I will be back!
First time at Jekyll Brewing and to be fair I hadn't even heard from them until some friends invited me out there for a late lunch and of course I was down to check out a new restaurant and brewery. Jekyll Brewing is located where the old Zeta location was. (I know Zeta hasn't been there is awhile but that's what I remember being there first). I will say though they really updated the place and even has a second floor with outdoor seating and ocean views. Being our first time here we had to start off with an appetizer and we went with the Fried Pickle Plate which had a nice light batter and also came with fried jalapeños. They were nice and thin just the way I like them since I'm not the biggest pickle fan in the first place. After looking over the menu there were a number of options calling my name but the one really sticking out was the Bison-Wagu Beef Smash Burger. I mean they had me at Bison plus the fact that it was a smash (my favorite type of burger) made it a clear that's what i had to get. The Bison-Wagu Beef Smash Burger comes with double patty, white American, house pickle, shredded lettuce, comeback sauce, and caramelized onion. I also went with fries for my side. Let me tell you. This burger was amazing. One of the best I have had in Jacksonville and probably the best bison burger I have ever had. They also had very good fries which were hand cut and were seasoned perfectly. You gotta try this burger if you are a bison, smash burger, or burger fan in general. You will not be let down. I also got to try a good amount of the Shrimp and Geechee Boy Grits. The shrimp were big and well seasoned. Almost like a blackening seasoning which is one of my favorites. The issue for the me with the dish though was that the grits were flavorless. Just completely bland. Just ended up eating only the shrimp out of it. Would for sure come back to Jekyll Brewing for some beers or cocktails because they have both and both are good and some tasty food. Always going to have a good time at a brewery with good food.

Seating Down stairs family friendly. Upstairs-airstream bar inside. Outdoor patio-great view! Food and beverage This is an Atlanta based group that has a beer brew master, a vintner, and a master chef!! What a combo! We had the popular ipa and the house seltzer- both EXCELLENT!!! The seltzer served in a glass with crushed ice in a glass!! Fabulous! Best ever! The beet salad was perfect-chopped nicely- bib lettuce and chunks of beet with a smear of cheese. Summary Wow!! The beach def has an AMAZING upgrade with this bar-their own wine, beers, cocktails, and seltzers- great menu variety. Love this place!!!
I came here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Wasn't busy on Wednesday afternoon and was seated immediately. I forget the gentleman's name, but the waiter/bartender was friendly and provided great recommendations. I had the bison-wagyu burger and their seasoned fries, then washed the meal down with the bourbon smash. The burger and fries were excellent, and the tab was very reasonable (~$40 for everything.) The only drag is the rooftop wasn't open, so couldn't enjoy the weather. I'll have to return so I can check that out! read more
4.25 Greeted promptly, great service, great video with inside/outside seating. Beer selection was great, however they were out of two I wanted to try. Offer various options with their own beer and alcohol. Pretty empty when we went on a weekday night, food came out quickly. Fried pickles and jalapenos app- good, smaller chunks though and quite pricey at $15. Broiled oysters very good, but somewhat heavy on the breading. Power bowl- great combination of flavors and textures. Fish was cooked slightly less than the medium well asked for, but still super yummy. Smash burger, Grilled chx sandwich, wedge salad- good and flavorful. Fish and chips- ok. Fish was pretty overdone. Consensus on fries were a negative on flavor- somewhat bitter. Overall a good experience, great vibe, Will be back to try other items. read more

Love this rooftop option in Jax Beach. What they lack in speedy service they make up for with delicious food and great views. It's fun to go when there's a festival/music at the pavilion and eat, drink, and listen to the music without the crowds of the actual festivals. Drink options are good. They even do spiked seltzers on tap and you can pick the flavor you want them to infuse it with. Everything we've had so far has been delish. Current favorites include the fish and chips, burger, and the black bean patty wrap (which is more like a falafel). read more

What a beautiful new venue this is! Spotless inside and an absolutely wonderful staff. I visited this spot for a NextUp Jax meeting and was blown away by the diverse beer list and the food looked incredible. I can't praise the staff enough for their genuine hospitality and kindness during my visit. My server,Hannah, was such a sweetheart and made my experience so personal and enjoyable. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends and family! read more

What a great afternoon at Jekyll Brewing. We were greeted at the bar by the vivacious Lexi! She was knowledgeable of all Beers and had some great suggestions. My fav was pineapple habanero ipa. The food was delicious. Shrimp and Grits was so yummy and Beet Salad with added Grilled Shrimp hit the spot. The salad was served with a smear of Ricotta Cheese. What a great addition. It quickly got busy as the Jaguar Game started. Lexi continued her role of keeping everyone Happy including the Karen/Chad that choose a seat at the bar! See photos lol After lunch we headed upstairs to enjoy another beer and people watch. The upstairs bar is cute with indoor and outdoor seating. Pet friendly! We will be back! See ya soon! read more
Lucky to have stopped in on their Grand Opening day! Plenty of staff available to assist with beer or menu questions. All were very friendly! We ordered the Gator bites to start. They were lightly breaded with a fantastic flavor! Will definitely order them again. Next we had the shrimp rolls. The roll was the star of this overflowing handheld sandwich. The sandwich was good and plenty of shrimp, but I felt like there was entirely too many celery chunks that took over the flavor of the sandwich. The interior was bright and had a fun vibe going on! Great addition to the beaches! Summer fun all year long for locals and visitors. Beers were cold and good variety of choices. We did pour ours into plastic cups to enjoy the outdoor rooftop deck. Service was great with offerings to taste any if the beers before ordering. read more

Love the ambiance for groups and for q chill breeze. Cocktail drinks were $$. Sides were $. I opted for fries BC they were the cheapest item. I needed something to soak up the sour ale I chose. High in alcohol, but a little too bitter. I enjoy fruit ales. I would definitely come back. Bartenders and waitress were the same. A second to get their attention to order. We had about 8 in our party. read more

Perfect location and after beach day stop. I love all the various beer and drink options. Bartender was very nice, but after giving drink we had to prompt her multiple times to order food. The place was not busy and our standard food took 30 mins. I guess patience is key here. Food was just ok, go with the beer. Cocktails are over juiced. read more

Spacious, clean brewery right by the beach! A perfect place to cool off after being in the sun. We sat at the bar on a slow day, food came out quickly and bartender was very attentive but not chatty. Took a while to get our bill, most staff were doing tasks around since they were slow I suppose. Mojito was not as strong as I'd hoped but tasted great. My friend and husband ordered IPA's and really enjoyed them. Oysters were cold and fresh but the mignonette for the oysters was a slushy consistency which was strange. Hushpuppies were very greasy. read more
We enjoyed the atmosphere here especially that there was an outdoor patio. Our waitress was very friendly and consistent with checking in on us. It was pretty quiet around 5 on a Friday and picked up as we were leaving. Of the beer flight, the only one I really enjoyed was the watermelon sour. It was nice! Our server mentioned the beer is driven in weekly from the brewery in Georgia. Our friend loved the Oktoberfest. Bibb wedge salad was great. Pretzel was pretty standard - enjoyed by the group. My husband and our friend both liked the smash burger a lot. Our other friend enjoyed the fish and chips. The fries were very tasty with a generous dusting of Cajun seasoning. read more

Came in to watch an out of town football game. They couldn't get it on the TVs although they had all the other ones. The view is great. The beer list although long was short lived. The two things I wanted to try they were sold out of. We had a pretzel and moved on to another place. read more
I tried the non alcoholic Jubilee drink that had strawberries in it. Quite tangy but refreshing. The fried chicken Sammie with a spicy pimento cheese sauce hit the spot. The chicken was perfectly fried and nice and moist. The fries were definitely hand cut and the seasoning was awesome. Very good food! read more
What a fun place to hang out with friends! I love how this place looks a lot different than other breweries. The walls are an ocean blue and there are windows galore. It has a very beachy, energetic vibe. I did not try the food, but it looked amazing and I will be returning to get some appetizers. The bartender was very friendly and outgoing. I also love how this has a second floor (disclaimer: it isn't always open, especially since it's a bit chilly this time of year) to soak up the views of the ocean. I highly recommend stopping by Jekyll Brewing for a bite to eat and some great beer! read more

We came with a large group of 20, arriving around 8:30. Our waitress did an awesome job taking care of us! Somewhat surprised that they weren't busy on Saturday night, but that's ok since we pretty much had the second floor balcony to ourselves and it was a perfect night to be outside. Food was better-than-good for a bar, but nothing mind blowing though. Large selection of beers which my husband appreciated. read more

I love Jekyll! The staff is amazing and super friendly! I was genuinely surprised at how good some of the food was. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you get. The beers are nice, however I would say a little expensive for me but they do have deals on certain days. Awesome rooftop area as well with a view of the ocean. read more
Nice spot to watch the game with good beer (according to my dad, I don't drink beer) he had the hop dang diggity. It smelled so good but I don't like the taste of beer. The oysters were tasty as well. We'll return for football, beer and food! read more
