I enjoyed the fried oysters, shrimp and green beans but the grits were not to my liking as far as texture but they tasted okay. The espresso martini was okay. I didn't care for the cream on top. It was too thick. My son had the shrimp and grits. My daughter ordered a 2 way platter. I can't remember what she ordered. Upon leaving, when my son stood up, his shirt peeled away from the back of the chair. The chair had food residue across the back of it which left a large stain. We had a stop to make on our way home and he was so embarrassed to get out at the store. Fortunately, I used a stain remover and it came clean in the wash but that was pet disgusting.

Bummer! It's also a market place where they sell fresh seafood. I've been craving for some oysters so I ordered the fried shrimp and oysters platter paired with sides of garlic hard-boiled eggs and fried okra. Good thing we checked our to-go containers because they put fries instead. We weren't told that they were out of fried okra. I just started a low carb diet and the next best thing was the cheese sticks so I got those. My wife ordered the crab legs and shrimp dinner. We definitely enjoyed them. For $11.99, I got a 10-pc decent size shrimp and 10-pc oysters with my platter. Good deal I think. They were perfectly cooked and tasted fresh. The garlic butter sauce on the crab legs was delicious. Finger licking good! Friendly service. 3 1/2 stars.

The first time I went there I got sick, then my friend ordered food from there, I ate it, and again got sick. So no more Century 21 for me! Hot food comes with a wait... There's no way to get around that! So be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes if you ordered fried food or a bigger order in general. I've been happy with everything that we've ordered here, and because we come here so much often times we walk away with a complimentary fried combo, drink or something of that nature. And as a customer and more importantly a Yelper, it's very much appreciated. If you are a garlic, butter, spices type of person then you won't be disappointed with AJ's! Their attitudes are kind, their seafood is fresh and you'll probably be returning sooner then you planned to! Happy Yelping...

There was a couple in front of me that added on to their order but it just seemed like the employees couldn't get a good handle on things. I ordered the wings and fries. I like good ol fried chicken so I opted out of adding sauce. The cashier took my name and phone number down. I was told I would be notified when the food was ready. The wait time given was 25minutes. So I left went to another truck while I waited. I received a phone call that my order was ready. When I arrived back at the truck. I sat and waited some more. I watched more orders be taken until the cook advised the cashier to hand out food. Once I received my food it was hot. The fries were lack luster and the wings were the big wings that could potentially be fatty but had been fried pretty well so they weren't. I did get ranch with my order. The flavor on the chicken wasn't really there. All in all it was something to eat at the time but I can't say I will seek them out or wait in their line if I see them at another event.

The potatoes were perfectly soft and able to sop up the seasoning. The sausages were a good combo of chewy and soft. And the corn was super juicy and sweet. We got the mild option, but honestly, we didn't really notice any spice, so I would definitely go for a higher spice level next time. The seasoning was pretty good, but not the best I've had. It was a bit too oily for my preference, which sounds a bit dumb because of course it's oily. But it was so hard to get the seasoning on the food. At times it felt like I was only scooping oil up without any of the flavoring. Whereas at other places, it felt like the oil itself was super flavorful too.

Being from a landlocked (Arizona) state, I wanted to get some fresh snow crab as you can truly taste the different even if you can get flash-frozen. We pulled up, and it seemed pretty underwhelming where it was located. When walking in, I initially didn't notice the insanely cool boat fountain that we marveled at on our way out. Loved the decor as simple, but the fountain elevated it more than other seafood boil places I've visited. Elijah was very friendly and appreciate the recommendation to go very spicy (extra hot). I often feel like some places vary. I want the spice, but I don't want it to completely overpower the food like some spice levels will. This achieved an exceptional flavor and still cleared my sinuses from the spice - perfection! The crab was amazing and the shrimp was pretty good as well; though next time, I'll do all crab as it was insanely fresh and tasty. I'll definitely be back if in Jacksonville again for work, and recommended to the local coworkers in the office!
