The eggs were running the grits were greased buttery. The sausage was greasy for almost $12. I would expect more from a place.

First saying to get the food wrong, they covered my grits with ton of butter. Everything's greasy the link was supposed to be for a link. The eggs are running. The place is dirty. The place was dirty if I could've given it a zero I would.

Great place. Steak in a sack, extra seasoning on fries and cherry limeade and I'm a happy person.

I always drive by this place and have never gone in until today!!! No lines, my food came out very quick and hot. I loved the seasoning for the French fries. Everyone was so friendly and helpful (: There is enough room to site down and dine in with clean restrooms.

My favorite go to spot for breakfast when I'm on the go. I always order the egg, grits and sausage with toast. There is a lot of food so it is a 2 meal deal for me. The drive through is pretty fast. The cherry limeade is my favorite drink. When I go for lunch I normally order the camel rider which is my favorite sandwich of all times. The staff is nice. There is a inside where you can dine. It is normally clean and you can always find a clean table to sit all. I have been eating here for over 25 years.

I stopped here for a quick lunch on a slow Tuesday at 11:30am for a quick bite. This is a classic drive through meets a fast casual burger joint that has breakfast options. Right off the bat I realized how popular this location was. When I pulled up the drive through line was very long for a lunch rush. The service was fast and staff knowledgeable. Not to mention the killer prices! I orderes the Camel Rider not as a combo with water for $5.88. It was a generous portion heavy on the mayo and a bit messy but delicious. Clientele was primarily blue collar heavily geared towards the service industry croud. Pros: Excellent place for breakfast and lunch on the run. Good for groups. Family owned local Jacksonville staple with eight locations. Heard the cherry limeade is a must to try. Cons: The parking was very tight with close proximity to the drive through made me worry about someone swiping your car. I quickly realized this was not the place to sit with a lap top and get work done. I think a homeless man came to sit near me. I got a bit worried and took my remaining lunch to go.

This Duval county staple is a must try when in the Jacksonville area. The inside seating was closed due to Covid but the take out and drive thru were operating fully. I ordered the fresh fries, large cherry limeade, and the steak in a sack. The pita is always so warm and tasty. Inaddition to lunch, the breakfast menu is expansive and is always a big help if you have had a long night out at the beach bars.

Steak pita + onion rings & fries (hubby got the pita too)

The prices are way too high. I was very disappointed. I understand inflation. It is not worth it.

Eureka (I have found it)! Hollywood in Florida!!!!…read more JUST like Dr. Indiana Jones combing through the jungles seeking his ancient museum artifacts, I was navigating the curvy wilds of the Jacksonville Southpoint area, located near I-95 and JTB. The best things in life require some effort to build your appetite, and whereas I did not collect a golden idol like Dr. Jones, I was rewarded instead with a cheerful new friend and one of the absolute FRESHEST sandwiches in JAX! Nestled between the sparse woods and surrounding offices you will find happy, loyal diners who fill Hollywood Heroes and Subs each lunchtime to the point where the line stretches out the door. I had just seen the last of the lunch crowd smiling and saying goodbye for the day to our energetic and upbeat host, Founder, sandwich artist and Jacksonville native Kevin Porter, an actor turned restaurateur -- known for roles including "Lazer" in Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, plus appearances in Daredevil and General Hospital. Something that cannot be "acted" around was his genuine welcome and desire to roll out the red Hollywood carpet for all who make the journey (yes, it's a REAL red carpet)!! This sweet shop is the perfect size, and has a significant amount of Hollywood memorabilia all around to keep you engaged while chatting with Kevin as he works his magic. And what he produced was a treasure of cheese and meats that made me forget about whatever might have been chasing me through those woods to get there! J/K In between wonderful conversation with Kevin, each bite of my MASSIVE "The Towering Inferno" hot hero (pepperoni, Genoa salami, cappy and melted provolone) on fresh baked Village Bread made me realize just how huge and delicious this thing was. Kevin promised that the one pictured is exactly what every customer will get...he prides himself on highly generous portions at fair prices...and man, did he deliver!! I would have been completely satisfied with HALF, but NO!!!! There sat its twin, begging for sacrifice to the stomach Gods. I was only too happy to oblige! The owner Kevin = engaging, friendly, talented with his craft, makes you feel like you drove through the woods to come home to your happy place. The ambiance = bright, colorful, great memorabilia, puts you as the star of the show. The sandwiches = creative in name and product with fresh being the operative word, this sandwich hit above its price point and I can't wait to try to the rest of the menu! So no, I didn't get chased by a boulder, or leave with Dr. Jones' golden idol, but I did get a Golden Belly from my experience, and the knowledge of why hundreds of hungry lunch- goers seek this "Temple of Delish" every day!! Crack the whip and corral your family into the car for this absolute treat in the core of "ancient Jacksonville!!"

Great food and great atmosphere to enjoy Kevin was there…read moreand made the trip even more exciting Just remember your favorite movie when it is very busy as they call out your order by your favorite movie I had the towering inferno and wife had the chicken salad Definitely will be back again to try a different sub
