Love this local food truck serving delicious burgers and fries! Tried it out for the first time on a Sunday night. The food truck is parked right next to the touchless car wash on Zetts Ave. I ordered the Saturn burger with the cosmic fries. The cosmic crinkle-cut fries came out fresh with a side of their cosmic sauce (kinda like an aioli). The burger, which was topped with a truffle mushroom mix, was amazing! The grass-fed beef patties were seasoned well and juicy and came with just the right amount of toppings. They have outdoor seating in front of the car wash entrance. The service was very quick and friendly. One of the owners even brought our food to our table. Definitely will be coming here again!
I have been trying to get over to visit the Slider Rider food truck for months and today, I finally succeeded! Tucked back on the right side of Zett's Road, it is in plain view with all of the cute designs. The young woman who waited on me, couldn't have been nicer. She had a warm smile and was happy to accommodate any requests. The food is made to order, so it is hot and fresh when served. My favorite item menu was the fries, yes, I said the fries. They are crisp, hot, fresh and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. They were bursting out of the container, so you could easily split an order with a friend. But, fellow Yelper's there is a dipping sauce, that is out of this world. Definitely, cosmic in taste and I couldn't stop dipping. I even dipped my hamburger in some. Next time, I am ordering a quart of their secret sauce. It is delicious! Now, to the burgers. First, you can't help but admire the cute brand logo design on their hamburger rolls. It is the cutest. I ordered the Saturn burger and the Mercury burger. Both burgers have cheese, lettuce, and 2 meat patties. The Mercury burger has an American cheese and a thin crispy onion topping. I actually liked this one best out of the two. The Saturn burger has mushrooms, which I love, cheese and a special sauce. I don't know if it was the cheese or the sauce, but it reminded me of a blue cheese or Roquefort cheese and it had a strong flavor, that I didn't really enjoy. The burgers were well cooked. I think the addition of a slice of tomato or pickle, might help to break up the richness of the burgers. They definitely helped fix my burger cravings. Next time, I would like to try the grilled chicken sandwich and more fries. Those fries are what dreams are made of! Thanks again, to the lovely lady who waited on me, she was a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day! Thank you, Slider Rider Trucks.
Delicious burger and fries. I tried the Mercury burger and cosmic fries with the special sauce. The sauce had a zip to it which was refreshing. The burger had a lot of flavor but not overwhelming so. I definitely plan on going back to try the other burgers.
My partner found this place randomly and said "We have to go back, it's the best burger I've ever had." So, we went today and I have to agree!! This place has the perfect classic smash burger, but with delicious unique topping options. I've never had crispy potatoes on a burger, but now they all need to! Their truffle fries were tasty too! They serve their burgers out of a cute food truck and have picnic tables to dine at. Customer service was on point
Hidden in the suburbs of Gaithersburg and near the ever so fun rockville pike you find slider-rider . A halal food truck that serves high quality wings and burgers. Service was quick and staff were kind and helpful. They do ask that you order online rather than order at the truck which was different but fair. I ordered the mercury burger and fries. The burger had a multitude of textures due to the fried potatoes in the burger. I thought it was a good burger, definitely hit the spot. But the star of the show in my opinion was their fries! They were just amazing. Loved the seasoning, width of the fries, and the crunch. 10/10! They Provide a towellette alongside food which was helpful. And they have their buns branded with their logo which is unique and great for a photo-op! I love the planet outer space theme it's super fun and different. Will come again!
One way we rate a place is, did we visit the place two days in a row? We stopped here on a Thursday and stopped by again the next day. What caught our attention was the designs on the food truck... simple and adorable. The owners were so pleasant. You can order at the truck there or order online. When the order is ready, they will bring it to your car. There is a picnic table by the food truck if you want to enjoy your food outside on a nice day. The menu is not big, but they certainly do it well. We have tried the Saturn burger, Mars burger, No Joke Buffalo wings, BBQ wings, and cosmic fries. The burgers were delicious and flavorful. I especially loved the Truffle mushroom mix, creamed mushroom, and Rider sauce on the Saturn burger. My husband wanted a plain burger, so he got Mars with just the patties, cheese, and aioli sauce. Their cosmic fries were legit. Lastly, the Venus Wings. OMG... they were so good. Double fried for extra crispy. We like both flavors. But be careful, the no joke Buffalo wings were definitely spicy, and we like spicy. There may be a wait since everything is made to order. However, it was worth the wait. You can order online first to avoid the wait. Give them a try. We will definitely be back.
Listen... this is one of the BEST burgers you can get in the area. It is halal beef just a heads up. Prices are good ($16 for a combo) and the food doesn't take a long to come out, even with their 2 person staff. Big shoutout to Jadira, she's always super friendly and will deliver your order to your car. Be aware, this truck is nestled back by the car wash, so it could be hard to see but follow the smoke from the truck, you won't regret it.
I wanted to find a good smash burger around Rockville Maryland, and stumbled upon Slider Rider. A very unseeming food truck situated at the cross section of shady grove and Frederick road, Slider Rider was truly a hidden gem. The owners were exceptionally nice and gave me a full description of each burger and it's popularity. I ordered the Mercury for $11. It was slightly pricey as it was about the size of a large slider, but it was a melting pot of smoky flavors, with a heaping amount of potato straws that gave the burger a nice crunch. There isn't any seating, which would be preferable, so I had to eat it in my car. Overall, I would definitely recommend Slider Rider to anyone else looking for a quality smash burger.
Was in the area and husband found out about Slider Rider online so we decided to check it out. It was tucked around the corner from a car wash with limited parking in the are. Placed an online order and decided to wait in the car but the employee was so kind to approach us to confirm if we had placed an order online. Talk about efficiency and initiative! Already loved the service from the beginning but it didn't affect my expectations for the food. Ordered the Mercury and Saturn and boy oh boy, the smell of the food wafted from the bag and I could already tell my tastebuds were getting excited. Obviously all of the food was made fresh and hot. Ate--I mean, devoured, the food in the car. Both burgers were great so it comes down to personal preference on the flavors. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area! Will be coming back for more.
Beam me up Scotty, I'll have another round of what Slider Rider is putting down. We ordered 2 Mercury burgers, kid's cheeseburger, 2 fries, and the Neptune Chicken sandwich. The taste of everything was delicious. We absolutely loved the food. A bit expensive for us so we won't go as often as we would like to but this place is a treat for your taste buds. Super friendly staff too. Well done.
The Slider Rider food truck is making some of the best burgers and fries anywhere around the DMV, and if you find yourself anywhere around 8600 Zetts Ave (right by the intersection of 355 and Shady Grove Road) when they're open, you need this food in your life. What stands out about Slider Rider? Everything. It's amazing food served by the friendliest people, which is enough on its own, but it's also so easy to order online and pick it up 15 minutes later. Everything here is delicious, but I've got a special love for their Neptune chicken sandwich, which is one of the best things you could ever hope to eat. It features a comically large piece of perfectly marinated chicken grilled expertly and put on a pillowy soft branded bun with rider sauce, lettuce, American cheese, and crispy onions. It's so good I eat it every week and despite the fact that I KNOW I love this sandwich, it exceeds my glowing memories of it every single time. Sooooo good. All of the burgers here are fantastic too, all made with quality meat and with real skill and care by people who know what they're doing. I particularly love the crispy onions on the Mercury, but any of these burgers are the best for many miles around, and have spoiled me for burgers anywhere else. The same can definitely be said for their fries, because those Cosmic Fries are indeed out of this world, if you'll allow it (I understand if you won't.) The cook on them is exactly right, leaving them crisp and never oily, and the seasoning and parmesan add a lot. In all the love for everything else, don't miss out on the wings! The hot sauce on them is indeed spicy, and there's also a barbeque option where the huge, perfectly crispy wings get slathered in a delicious, thick, sweet, smoky and rich BBQ sauce that is excellent (and something I'll be getting again soon). Fantastic crunch and perfectly crisp skin with a juicy interior, exactly as they should be! Pejman and Jadira are also incredibly friendly and charming and manage to provide great service while hustling and putting out top-notch food, which is super impressive and the cherry on top of why Slider Rider is a must-try. Check their hours on Facebook or Instagram and get yourself here!
The service was excellent; the woman, who I believe was the owner, was kind and passionate about her burgers. I ordered the Saturn burger and cosmic fries as she recommended. The Saturn burger was delicious! It had a great mix of beef cheese, and mushrooms! The fries were also fantastic. It was seasoned very well (not too salty). I would go back again! Glad to know there is a decent burger place!
The theme of outer space is definitely fitting because the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I kept seeing pictures of their food all over my social media feeds, mainly through some of my friends who follow them, and then saw their name again within the same week, but this time on Yelp's new businesses page & I took this as a sign to come try them for myself. They are pretty easy to find since they announce their weekly schedule online at the beginning of the week. You just have to keep your eyes peeled for their specific location, and the easiest way to do that is to follow their social media pages. I've tried pretty much everything on the menu, and I think these are hands down the BEST burgers I've had in a while. Not only are the burger patties juicy & flavorful, with cheese oozing between each layer, but the buns are soft & their signature sauces are so tasty. I think the heat-branded logo is a very nice touch (I'm a sucker for branded burger buns). Although it's hard to choose an absolute favorite among their innovative creations, I have to say the Saturn and the Neptune take the prize for me. The Saturn is a burger with mushrooms/creamed mushroom, onion mix, white American cheese, Rider sauce, and lettuce. Take it from someone who likes mushroom & swiss burgers, I can say this was PERFECT. The Neptune is also a solid choice, as the grilled chicken breast is a big portion and they do an amazing job keeping it tender. This one also had the Rider sauce on it with cheese, but it was topped with crunchy potatoes. The crunch you get from these is so satisfying lol. I'd also highly suggest ordering Cosmic Fries (house seasoning & parmesan) with your burger. They're perfectly crispy and the Cosmic Sauce just makes them even more addicting. Whatever you choose in the end, you're making the right decision. You really can't go wrong with any of their options, they're all just too good! Dope concept, friendly people, AMAZING food. Things cannot get any better than this. I think it'll be hard for me to look at any other burger the same way again. They've set the bar pretty high. I think I'm their new biggest fan.
Slider Rider is a burger truck where it has this cute space theme - they offer 3 different types of burgers (Saturn, Mars, and Mercury), a grilled chicken sandwich (Neptune), Venus Wings, fries, and kid options. You can also make any of the burgers using Beyond Meat! We ordered: +the Mercury - made with 2 patties of grass-fed halal beef, yellow American cheese, caramelized onions, crunchy potatoes, Galaxy sauce, Rocket Sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on a potato bun +Cosmic Fries - shoestring fries with house seasoning and Parmesan, served with a side of Cosmic sauce The burgers were described as 'smashburgers', so the patties were cooked all the way through (which I prefer!); the burger itself was actually okay, but there was something in there that made it taste slightly off - either it was the caramelized onions, the Galaxy sauce, or the Rocket sauce, there was something that was a bit too sugary/sweet; I think without this element, the burger would have been better! Maybe I'd ask for the sauces to be served on the side. The fries were okay - they did fill the styrofoam box to the brim and was generous in serving two cups of the Cosmic sauce; I think these could have been dropped fresh, as when we received them, they seemed as if they were prepared in advance and was sitting for a bit. Service was super friendly and welcoming! It's located off of Zetts, just down from Touchless Car Wash; note that this area can get jampacked and backed up on the weekends where everyone is trying to get their vehicle washed! Getting in and out can be a bit of a pain, and there are some temporary parking available. +friendly service! +located down from touchless Car Wash +off road parking available read more
(Updated rating) 7/6/23- had this spot on my list for a while and had to quickly move it up once I heard they were relocating to florida. The service was nice and friendly. I ordered online for takeout and got the Mercury combo (Mercury burger & cosmic fries) for 15$ and the Venus wings for 135. The mercury burger was by far my favorite item I had but i was expecting that it would be a little bigger with the price tag but I ain't mad at it, it was still a great burger nonetheless. The cosmic fries were below average and that could stem from the way the fries are made (shoestring style) but even then the seasoning on it was nothing special. The cosmic fries came with a cosmic sauce that was great and was a perfect addition to the burger. The Venus wings were solic with pretty good texture but ridiculously overpriced with a price tag of 13$ for 5 wings which is a scam, if you charging 15$ for wings they gotta be the best wings ever (they weren't). The Buffalo sauce that comes with the wings was definitely hot and the bba and ranch were decent. All in all, it's a solid spot that ! could see myself coming back to for their Mercury burger. read more
Wonderful food truck! The cashier was patient and calm, willing to answer any questions or even make some suggestions. Also, they brought the food out to us where there were small picnic tables to eat at right then and there. I got the Mercury combo and it was honestly the best burger/slider I've had in the DMV. Definitely cannot say enough about the whole combo. The ingredients were fresh and it definitely had different textures. Each bite was flavorful and explosive. The fries were seasoned well and complimented the burger perfectly. Cannot wait to visit again and order 2 next time. read more

Been wanting to check out these guys for awhile and finally did. It was a solid burger (I got the Saturn). It came with truffle sauce and mushrooms which added decent flavor, and the meat was solid (two thin patties). The bread left a little to be desired, but got the job done. Fries were decent and plentiful, with ample Parmesan cheese sprinkled throughout. The service was fast and the people working were super nice, however, the meal felt a lil overpriced but in today's economy, I get it. Solid burger and def try out if the need to eat patties arise. read more
Super delicious burgers! I love that they use grass fed halal beef, everything is super fresh and tasty. The sauce that comes with the fries is also really good. Mercury burger is my favorite, I love the crispy onions. The service is also so kind and they bring the food out to your car. 4 stars because I think the burger should be a little bigger for $8, but overall really good! read more

We finally got to try this place and I'm so glad we did! This truck is amazing!! The food, service and ordering process was all amazing! We ordered online and drove to the spot, the food was ready exactly when the ETA was. We ordered the Mars burger, Mercury burger and cosmic fries. The burgers were both cooked perfectly, juicy, flavored well (not salty or bland). + MERCURY Two beef patties with American cheese, caramelized onions, crunchy potatoes, special sauces, lettuce, tomato, onion w/ potato bun. This one was my favorite that we tried! + MARS Two beef patties with American cheese, housemade aioli, housemade relish, onions w/ a potato bun. This was my husband's favorite out of the two burgers we tried. He really enjoyed the house made relish. + COSMIC FRIES Shoestring fries w/ Parmesan house seasoning and cosmic sauce We can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! read more
Great burger option in the Rockville area!! Cute little food truck with recently added outdoor seating options. So for all you dog lovers out there, you can bring your doggo to the Mattie JT Stephanie Dog Park around the corner and then grab a burger bite after! Service: I recommend ordering ahead of time online. It could take 10 minutes or so for your food to be ready, but it is worth it. The people are super nice and even brought my food to my car when it was ready after I checked in. Food: The burgers remind me of Shake Shack burgers. But Slider Rider has a bunch more sauce options. If it is your first time, you may want to try the sauces on the side to figure out which one you like best. Fries are solid. Worth checking out! read more
Wow is all I can say to the amazing burger I had today! I've been meaning to try you guys out for a while now and I was not disappointed. My husband and I were both throughly satisfied lol. Nothing makes me happier than a good juicy, cheesy burger! I got the Mercury burger which has this perfect crush and cheesy combination. I ate every bite and enjoyed every moment. I love a fresh off the grill burger and you can taste that in every bite. I will be back for more, thank you for making my lunch a great one today. Oh and before I forget the young lady working the order window that helped me today was amazing and very knowledgeable, thank you!! read more

Hands down the most juicy burger I have ever had in Moco Is a must try !!!! and the fríes where the bomb with that dipping sauce I honestly thought it was mayo ketchup it reminded of it for some reason. The little green area where their seats are located are nice they even have a little house for kids to play with. Definitely a little hidden gem I will definitely come back with the rest of the family. Just a small suggestion you guys should make your own natural juice's to pair with your menu. read more

I mean rarely do I rate burger places because I usually feel like I'm no burger connoisseur. However, Slider Rider burgers are... wait for it... out of this world! Get it?! Since their theme is... ok anyways! All their burgers are made of grass fed halal beef. And you can substitute it with impossible burger for an extra dollar. We got the Mercury and Saturn Cosmic fries as well as a regular old cheeseburger. The Saturn is a burger with mushrooms and creamed mushroom with onion mix. Listen, if you like mushroom in your burger, get this. It's good! The star of our meal was Mercury though. I don't even want to describe it because, I just want you to taste it for yourself! There's crunchy goodness and juicy awesomeness mixed together and it was bomb! Just get it! I also really liked the Cosmic fries! They are thin and crispy on the outside and not soggy at all. Seasoned with Parmesan and their house seasoning. So good! Dip it in their sauce and boom! Delicious! Ok have I enticed you enough? Go go go! Check out their site to see if they will be near you! I wanna go back their other items! read more

I was in the Gaithersburg, MD area and was looking for a quick halal bite, yelped them and saw great reviews, decided to try. Excellent service, clean place, Truck was parked on a corner and there was out side seating picnic area, good food but a bit expensive for the portion size. Loved the mercury burger with crunch small potatoes in it. read more
