Had the Birria Burrito and it was slamming!! Loved that it was grilled and pressed on the outside for an added crunch. The burrito was packed with flavorful Birria. Wish the takis had some more crunch to them. They were a bit soggy and I didn't really taste the kick from them. Overall a great takeout experience for my first time. Really good tacos, really good corn. Order at a kiosk and then seat yourself. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Somewhat more expensive than some other places at this level, but wasn't disappointed. No alcoholic drinks...def a down side as I'd like to have one margarita with the meal - goes hand in hand with tacos. Better for lunch due to this. Is next door to Southern Swells. So can order and take there too. Narrow inside. Good amount of seating plus they offer outside courtyard seating. read more

It's dark but colorful inside, and lots of space inside and out. You order your food at a kiosk and they bring it out. I thought the taco selection was a little limited for a place called talkin tacos! I got the mahi tacos and I wanted just a cup of water but couldn't find any other option besides the $3.50 bottle of water with their logo. No margaritas or alcoholic drinks at all, or regular drinks it seems. My friend wanted a soda and there were no regular soda options. There are a lot of interesting lemonade/juice mixes. It was a little pricey for tacos ($16). The tacos don't come with anything, so I got the chips and pico for $8.50. I gave it four stars because my tacos were actually very good! And the pico was very fresh. read more

All around great spot. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Love that they are connected to a brewery to grab a local beverage. Birria Ramen- great taste throughout. The portion was light though. Chicken Burrito- great portion and probably the best item on the menu. Street corn- personal preference is I would like fresh corn vs canned corn. Immediate no go for me. Great spot and would come back again in a heart beat read more

This is an order at kiosk, seat yourself and they bring your food kinda place. We sat outside as inside felt a bit warm. Our food started to come out very quickly and everything had solid flavor. I did get one wrong taco on my trio but they were good about fixing it. Overall the service was on point and food was good. We felt the food was a bit warm and not as hot as you'd expect but again it had good flavor. The mangonada was the only piece i wouldn't order again. Cant wait to come back and try more of their menu. read more

I saw so many good things so we tried it out. The tacos were okay and the queso was okay it was missing the cojita cheese and cilantro though. I didn't enjoy any of the sauces. You have to order at a kiosk and we didn't see any bottled water as an option which was okay then others had it. It was pretty in there and had nice decor. But it wasn't worth the price. read more

A friend from out of town wanted to eat here after searching for a place that does tacos online. I have eaten at the town center one a couple times but not this location. It's in a huge strip mall, and we came Saturday around 5:30pm and the parking lot is very busy. The restaurant was starting to fill up, it's not a big place and has a long bar and maybe 8ish 4 tops. There is actually a big courtyard you walk through outside but it was thundering so no one was sitting there. You order at the kiosk which when they are busy you will wait a while. I think they should have their menu posted on the wall cause the kiosk screens are tiny. I ordered the vegan tacos and side of pico (doesn't come with chips, those are an additional cost) and bottle of water for $30. That is a lot for a vegetarian meal. The food came quickly even though it texted me saying it would be 20 mins. They bring it your table. The vegan tacos and pico were fresh and tasty. The tacos had had mushrooms, black beans, corn and cilantro. It was a nice, light meal. Was it worth 30 dollars? Probably not honestly. The restaurant has a lot of big screen tvs over the bar and they had soccer playing on one screen with the sound turned up loud. It's not a place to come if you want a quiet meal. Would I come again? Yes, maybe if I'm in the area. I do think it was a healthier spin on tacos. read more

As a Mexican from Cali, these tacos in FL ain't it. The quesabirra tacos are not authentic enough for me. The quesabirra tacos did not have cheese in them, and also it was more like a soft taco not crunchy enough. What throws me off is the cilantro and cebolla, on top of the taco instead of inside of it?? Not flavorful enough tbh plus it's so pricey for the quality served. read more

Quesabirria is the way to go! First time here but since my daughter and husband have been here before it was their choice. When you enter, you select your options on a kiosk instead of going to a counter. The place was a bit dark but had colorful hand painted artwork on the walls. I ordered a kid's burrito since I wasn't that hungry but the portion was much larger than I expected! The food was satisfying and service was great! read more

I have been to Talkin Tacos recently and over the course of the last couple years the Jacksonville Beach location is a kind of cool decorated restaurant bar. I enjoy the best thing is the Bora tacos with the consume. The burritos are good but for me, I always order double approach. The service is order on the kiosk and it was brought to my table quickly and offered a free bottle of water, which was very nice. This is a cool spot to have a drink and get some tacos. Try the sampler platter Trio tacos magnetic. The only thing I felt was not that great was the Horchata, which seemed thick and over sweet other than that everything else was hot and delicious. read more

Tried Talkin' Tacos for the first time today and ordered the chicken quesadillas to-go. The food itself was fresh and flavorful -- you can tell the ingredients are quality and everything was prepared well. The chicken was seasoned nicely and the tortillas had a good texture. That said, I was a little confused by part of the experience. My order came with a small container of what I initially thought was soup, but later realized was more of an au jus-style dipping sauce. That makes sense now, especially since the quesadilla felt a bit dry on its own -- I just didn't realize I was supposed to dunk it! I also expected the usual sides like salsa, pico de gallo, or sour cream that typically accompany quesadillas at most Mexican restaurants, but none were included. Since I didn't check the bag until I got home, I didn't have a chance to ask -- that's on me, and I regret ordering online for the first time. Overall, really tasty food and I am willing to give them another try -- next time I'll know to dip and maybe ask about sides. read more

The outside courtyard is such a lovely entrance for this spot! The inside is also very colorful and beautiful. Spud was so wonderful and welcoming! They greeted us at the door and talked us through the kiosk and types of foods. I tried a taco trio (al pastor, shrimp, and mahi) and I found them delicious, but definitely on the saucy side. The menu is full of fun items like birria mac n cheese. I'm looking forward to trying more here! read more

This place is so cool! All the neon, murals and fun decor! It's perfectly Instagram-able! You order from a kiosk, which I actually really like, no pressure! Now for the important part, the food. We got the queso and a taco trip with shrimp, mahi and steak Al pastor. Also enjoyed the sunrise punch. The queso was good, not amazing but solid. The tacos were SO good. The Mahi was my favorite! They lightly fry the tortillas which gave an awesome texture. The pickled onions were PERFECT on top. Service was fast and friendly. We went back the next day for their awesome desserts! The biscoff churros.......OMG! The tres leches cake was good too....very rich!! read more

I will never stand for Talkin Tacos slander, anyone who says it's bland just doesn't have good taste buds. I've gotten it at least once a week for the last couple weeks and it genuinely makes my day better. I could be having the worst shift at work at my job, we could have the most busy exhausting shift ever but once I get my DoorDash order from here it genuinely makes my day better. One of my favorite things from this place is the Quesabirrilla or however you spell it. I do wish it were a tad crispier but other than that 10/10. The service is so quick, the food is so delicious and one of the best parts is that it's open till 2 AM. One time I was out with a friend really late and I was so hungry but then I remembered talking tacos was open. I walked over a mile at 1 AM just to get there and I felt horrible knowing they were gonna start closing soon and it was so late but it was the best thing ever and I was so happy. That was seven months ago. Please never close. I love you Talkin Tacos. read more

The talking taco is such a great place to enjoy unique taco options. There Birria taco was nice, tender and cheesy and I love their steak taco with pineapples. The Caribbean taco was not as good as I'd hope for, but that is my personal opinion. Cherry lemonade didn't have much sweetness or tartness so I give that like a three out of five I ordered the queso and apparently they don't automatically come with chips, I guess It wasn't that obvious because the party next to me also didn't order it so I didn't know they didn't come with chips so we both had to get some chips. They came hard and stale after we ordered them too, so not necessarily worth it. I do wish the corn tortillas were double stacked instead of single. The customer service was amazing, all the girls were so helpful and kind. The vibe of the restaurant was nice. read more

We'll start off with the bad and get that out of the way- we ordered the birria pizza and it was so disappointing. It could have been so good because the ingredients were good, but it was made on a thin tortilla, with WAY too much cheese. This made it impossible to eat and the amount of cheese was just too much. The prices are also a bit steep for what you're eating. But now, on to the good. The vibes are very cool in here. It's neon lit, with a nice outdoor patio area. The food was made fairly quickly even for how busy it was. The tacos and nachos were delicious! The meat was fresh and the sauces were amazing. I would definitely come here again, I'd just steer clear of the birria pizza read more

I was on lunch break and had the taste for some tacos decide to try them out here as Orlando just recently gotten one. Upon arrival their restaurant is like party club ready it's def a vibe. It was pretty empty since I did go before the lunch crowd. Their menu boasts an impressive variety of taco options, from classic carne asada to creative vegetarian options like roasted cauliflower. Each taco is bursting with flavor, with perfectly seasoned fillings and fresh toppings. When my food came out it looked absolutely delicious, their tacos were about 16 bucks for 3 tacos and I believe they only offer corn tortillas not flour. When I took that first bite it was absolutely divine. I wanted to order the churros but didn't get a chance to so now it leaves me wanting more and I have a reason to go back lol But Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely meal with friends, Talking Tacos delivers on taste, quality, and service every time. Stopped by because they had a great DJ and I was nearby. If a place has tacos, I gotta try 'em. First time here, my friend grabbed me a Birria taco and chips & salsa. The Birria taco was packed with chicken, so fresh! Amazing, especially dipped in that juice. Their salsa was like they made it five minutes ago! Chunky tomatoes, I squished them with my fork for the juice which was so good on the chips. Had a blast for my first visit, the staff was friendly and even danced on the patio with us. Woooooow... I'm a huge taco lover. This is my new #1 So much flavor packed into each taco I don't even reach for the hot sauce. Okay, I hate to be the negative one. But this place sucks. To start off, it's outrageously overpriced. One burrito was $16. And yall can see the size of it from my pictures. It's nothing to write home about either. Bland, dry, and we waited over 30 minutes for it. On top of that, they don't offer complimentary chips and salsa. That's another $9. I'm assuming they don't have a liquor license, because they have a bar and "mocktails" on the menu. No beers or seltzers either. Thank God next door is a brewery. Last but not least, it's all self serve. When my partner and I had walked up to this place it looked like a club, with random people walking around in skimpy outfits looking lost. Eventually after walking in I finally asked someone what the deal was and what we were supposed to do. We were directed to 3 iPads where you place your order. Then you sit wherever you want, including the places next door if you want, and they will come find you when your food is ready. The food was bad, the service was bad, very over priced, awkward, and it costs an arm and a leg. They seem new, but they need to get their crap together before they charge nearly $20 a burrito!!! Go to Bubbakoo's if you're looking for an out of this world burrito, for a fraction of the price. read more

Since we're closer, why not order delivery from them? Hahaha. I ordered the Birria Bao Style which is exactly what it sounds like, birria with cilantro, onions, cheese inside a bao bun with tomato basil soup to dip and a side of fries. I also ordered the regular Birria for comparison. He got the Birria Ramen and a side of Pico De Gallo with Chips. I must say, the bao birria was very good. I like that it combined two of my favorite items for a unique meal. The regular birria was very cheesy and perhaps some of the best I've tasted to date. The portions were good as I couldn't finish both meals and they tasted just as good the next day. He ate all his ramen and while he claimed that he's not a fan a birria this changed his mind. He loved it. Pretty impressed. Thanks for a great meal. read more

The setting there was very chilled and you can seat yourselves. Upon arriving we were greeted by one of the staff there and she gave run down on how to order since it was our first time. They have kiosks that we order and you put your name, number, and pay all on the spot. Then you just have to find a seat and they'll call your name out. The service was very fast and we got our food very quickly. The food came out hot and fresh and did not disappoint. The staff was friendly when it came to a misunderstanding with one of our orders and accidentally ordered meat in their meal and they made the dish again without the meat. We apologized for the confusion, but they were very understanding of it all. I look forward to coming back and trying more of their other dishes! read more

First the good. 1. Wow-Outstanding staff. They were very helpful and attentive. 2. The ambiance and decor is really cool. 3. The pico de gallo was delicious The meh- Nothing was particularly hot. The tortilla chips, (which are an a la carte item) seemed like they came out of a bag. I had the trio of tacos and tried the carne al pastor, fish and the Caribbean carne. The flavors were good, but the corn tortillas were really really tough. My husband got the birria which was my favorite. You really needed to dunk the tortillas to get them soft. So the other day my wife and I went to Talkin' Tacos. On a Wednesday. "Whaddyou mean you went for tacos on a Wednesday?" asked my son, unable to wrap his head around the concept. "What can I say?" I answered. "We wanted tacos." We did. So we went to Talkin' Tacos. It's a relatively new place on Beach. The inside is well decorated and music plays in the background. The ordering process on the kiosks is pretty easy and straightforward. In addition several pleasant employees were willing to assist us when we told them it was our first time in the restaurant. So of course, we got tacos. What's nice is the taco trio option on the menu lets you select three different kinds of tacos. I chose the chicken achiote, the carne asada and the birria tacos. My wife got the mahi taco, the Caribbean carne taco and the steak al pastor tacos. We also got an order of plantains and pico de gallo and chips. These two sides came out first. The plantains were not very warm and were not the soft plantains I was used to. I don't know if they needed a bit more time in the oven or if they weren't quite ripe enough. They were fine but I wouldn't order them again. The pico was good. The chips seemed like they came out of a bag, which is fine, but perhaps the restaurant could buy a warmer to keep the chips in? My wife and I agreed that warm chips would have been a nice touch. As for the tacos? All were good, but again, the food could have been a touch warmer. To me the star was the birria taco. It come with a little cup of consommé (almost like a thin beef soup) that you dip the taco in. The consommé was really tasty and we found that we were dipping the other tacos into it. Also the chips. And my fingers. Mmmmmmm, consommé! The tacos do have lots of sauce and toppings on them, so prepare to get messy. The taco shells were different as well. They weren't quite soft but not hard either. Almost like a softer tostada as opposed to a taco. They tasted good but were not what I was expecting. Several employees came over and asked how everything was and if we needed anything. Overall it was a good experience and I could see us going back for more tacos. Even if it's not on Tuesday! read more

I went to check out Talkin Taco based on a positive recommendation. The pictures looked good enough and the place had decent reviews. However I was disappointed. The concept is good but I don't think it is executed well. Firstly the place looks great; open, vibrant, trendy. That's about it. The kiosk ordering is not very efficient. As I sat observed persons visibly frustrated with the system. The food: I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos and they were...not good. The fish was dry and lacked flavor. The street corn is heavy, cloying and does not come across as authentic. Good service and great ambiance are not a substitute for mediocre food. read more

Located in a strip mall and beside indoor seating, has an outside patio space that shares with Southern Swells Brewery. There is touch screen for ordering but the staff was also super friendly and very willing to help. Had the queso and chips. Very good. The chips had a good flavor and were slightly warm. Not stale tasting or too thick or too thin and salty. Queso wasn't spicy either. So we got the Caribbean tacos. As we entered we were greeted by a worker letting us know how to place our order, for credit cards there are 2 kiosks on the side and for cash orders, you order at the bar. At the kiosk we noticed that not all options available for online ordering were available in the restaurant. The bf was looking forward to the Birria grilled cheese or Birria ramen but neither were available on the kiosk, not sure if it was sold out but it was not an option at all. We ordered the southwest chicken tacos, birria tacos, the street corn and 2 Mexican Cokes. The southwest tacos has great flavor, dark meat chicken and the spicy Mayo was slightly spicy. It was a good middle of the road for spice levels. The street was good, but I prefer non canned or non boiled corn, so the corn was a little mushy. The flavors were wonderful, and not over powered by lime. Birria tacos were good, a little dry, but great flavor overall. The consume itself was delicious, the bf drank the leftovers after he finished his tacos! Overall the ambiance of this place is cool, a very chill environment. They are not yet serving alcohol, but I'm not sure if they intend to serve it at any point.
