    Chorizo burrito
    Yu S.

Biggie's pizza looked so packed that I immediately rubbernecked past it. Bumped into this and got myself a chorizo burrito and pastor taco. Fairly simple, but good meat and excellent umami. The cheese they used was adept at handling the flavor of the sausage. The pastor had some nice fatty bits on it. I actually wanted lengua, but unfortunately they were out. Maybe when I run into this again.

Consistently good tacos from an attentive staff. Ordered and quickly received the order. Tacos are served with lime and hot sauce is available upon request.

Al Pastor Taco was only reason not 1 STAR 2 small tacos with rice and beans with rice that is inedible & a Mexican soda for $13 might as well went for dine in or hole in wall taco place. Carnitas was not pulled properly and got gristle and so little meat. I cannot believe they served the rice with how bad it was... I would eat elsewhere anywhere else

We got 3 tacos, a burrito, this Mexican pizza thing and 3 drinks. I was a little surprised at the high price tag for these items at a food truck but the food was delicious! This pizza thing was next level good and so was my burrito. Kiddo loved the rice, beans and tacos. All in all would likely go back!

Our favorite easy dinner. Quick service. Can eat at the picnic tables there or take it to the beach nearby. Fair prices.

My favorite taco place! I will drive 2 hours just to get me some carnitas and steak tacos. Their churros as well, absolutely delicious.

After a long night out, no better way to cap off the night than with some authentic Mexican street food. Driving around Jax beach, we spotted this food truck (jalapeño express). So we decided to stop and try some food. We ordered the Tacos supreme and a huarache. Both were delicious, haven't stopped craving them.

This restaurant is easy to find from 3rd street. It is in a spot with nice light from the kangaroo next to it. This food truck offers authentic Mexican recipes. We had the tacon and taco supreme. Both came with meat of choice. We chose steak on tacon and chicken on the taco supreme. The people that work here make amazing food. The portion size will not disappoint. If you want a late night snack this is your place. Cost lower than fast food. Taste better than fast food places. Everything is made fresh each night.

    Terrible taco

The tacos were incredibly bland. I got 3 different meats and the all had zero flavor. They were out of everything. No rice, no beans, no ground beef, no birria. The queso was served cold in a tiny TINY TINY container.Their "salsa" is a weird yellow sauce. Had high hopes from previous reviews but these were some of the worst tacos I've ever had.

I used to love this place and was a regular customer but the love is all over. I ordered a fish taco, he gave a shrimp taco with an ingredient I am allergic too. He refused to make it right and was pretty much a jerk about it. I will never be back. Customer service is gone and so am I.

Greeted and sat right away- 5 of us. Hostess nice, server nice. Right away had two large bowls of chips and two types of salsa brought to us. Chips were good, just added salt. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. And we were patient, super patient. It was a Friday, but it was not overly crowded, like I said - seated immediately around 7:40. Drinks, took over 30 minutes for a pineapple one and three skinny- we joked the food would arrive first, but we were very wrong. Then, the waitress waited for us to try- I think it was a newer person at the bar. We tried to like it, but somehow it tasted like flat sprite.our server took them away and made us them herself. Now, those were great. Small side of guac was brought after that- meant to go with the meal, but we were so hungry we just ate with the chips. It was very good- fresh tasting. Then we waited. And waited some more. Asked about the food, then waited some more. Finally, we cut our losses and asked for the check minus the food that never came. The band was starting next door and we wanted to celebrate the bday girl. Pic 1, text just after 8pm- shows me joking that I was going to eat my friends food since she was headed over from next door and taking a bit and we had ordered 10 minutes prior. Pic 2, text shows us giving up- 9pm. So over an hour wait on food that never arrived - even if busy that would be a deal breaker. We were excited to try it too- disappointed.

I had my first meal there when I visited Jacksonville Beach recently. Got the grilled bone-in yellow snapper, which was a daily special. Fresh, meaty, smoky. It was served with mixed greens and apple salad, some grilled green onions and freshly made corn tortillas. All paired well with the fish. The tortillas were about 0.75oz per piece. Moreover, the dish was served on a HUGE cutting board! I also ordered a side of Spanish rice, but surprisingly the manager took it off from my bill, saying that "[he was] glad that I enjoyed the meal so much"! The first meal was indeed impressive; it had been a while since I had had such Mexican food last time. So I decided to give it another try the next evening. Ordered the Carne Asada (asked for rare) and sub the beans with extra tortillas (to avoid high GI food). But the steak was disappointing: the first time it was served ~medium-well. The second time it was ~medium-rare so I did not complain twice. However, it was quite chewy. One reason was that, as you can see from my picture, the meat was not rest long enough before it was sliced and served. Service was good, friendly and quick. The restuarant was a bit noisy but I enjoyed the energy. Moreover, there were lots of beautiful decors and murals. I really like the tiger painted on the wall of their main dining area. So in short, I would recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food. I would recommend the seafood and slowly-cooked stuff, like their short rib and pork shank. And I will dine in again the next time I visit Jacksonville Beach.

My wife had margaritas and enjoyed them, honestly I don't think she's ever met a margarita she didn't like. I tried the Old Fashioned, which just wasn't my style.
