I've posted about them a few times in the past, so old friends already know i enjoy this spot and count it as an official TacoTimeWithTrish must try place! Today hubby and I enjoyed their chicken tacos, steak tacos, and barbacoa tacos. The barbacoa ones being our absolute favorite ones! Tepey's started its roots as a small food truck during the Covid-19 pandemic while Luis and team worked on building out the brewery. Tepey's focus is based on Mexican Aztec roots and history, and that shines through not only the food that comes out of the kitchen, but through its diverse flavors of beers, with a primary focus on lagers. Tepey's is now a staple in the San Marco neighborhood and hosts many community events from pop up markets, live music, trivia, and so much more! It's no wonder they will be celebrating their 5 year anniversary this upcoming weekend and I, for one, am greatly looking forward to it. The flavor of the birria tacos was delicious on its own, but I could drink the birria sauce straight. The pazole will become a staple for us if we are sick- it's the perfect soup for that.
