Always have a good time here. This is from their HH menu. Music is always good and I never had an issue here. I've introduced all my friends to my fav spot in town

Cecina, Al Pastor and Boracho Fish Taco

Delicious tacos. I got the cecina, al pastor and the boracho fish taco. Cecina was my favorite but they all were good. The fish taco came with a mustard sauce which isn't my jam. That being said, would eat again the prices were great as well. Giant portion size on the taco itself as well!

Definitely one of the top two spots in Five Points. I enjoyed their enchiladas, but their quesadillas and tacos just hit and I think I prefer them. They are generous with the sauce, salsa, and toppings. And service is always quick and consistent.

I was severely craving authentic Mexican flavors and I got pretty close here! I loved the selection of tacos and the vibes here. Friendly service and a great casual vibe that is perfect for a quick lunch or a late night bite. The Mexican corn was my favorite, really enjoyed it. Taqueria cinco fits in perfectly to the Riverside vibes and very easy to walk to if you're in the area. Ample parking on street or in designated parking spots in the area.

I love this spot such great food best in Jax. Also the staff always is so sweet and has such a great attitude! You have to try here!

These were the fattest tacos in Jax! We had the Al Pastor, Suadero, & Barbacoa Tacos; chips with salsa and Guacamole. All the food was fire. The portion sizes for the tacos were on point, the flavors of each of them were fantastic. The barbacoa sauce was spicy. So beware. The Al Pastor is only available on Friday & Saturday. But oh so worth it. We had two drinks- the daily special marg and the Paloma. Both were made with the right portions and a great addition to the meal. The service was fantastic all around. We ate inside and talked to the cook and line staff. Everyone was very friendly. This places vibe reminds me of city life in another country. There are about 12 tables inside and outside. Very cute decor and outside seating is shaded. Parties of 4-8 only, probably not good for parties larger than that. All in all- we will be coming back!

I was walking my new neighborhood and stopped to check out this cute spot. I'm from Southern California and I travel to Mexico every few years so my Mexican food pallet is a bit spicer than most in JAX. I was the first person in the door and was greeted by the staff right away. After a quick look I decided to steer away from Tacos which I can find anywhere and went to the Huaraches. They hand make their blue corn tortillas so that was a slam dunk for me. They were a bit thinner than I have had in the past but still tender, fresh, and delicious. I decided to add the Ribeye for a bit of protein. It was a bit more like carne asada with some added fat that I didn't really enjoy. That said, the dish had great flavor with homemade black beans, crispy cabbage, and several traditional sauces. My server also brought me two different spicy salsa, one green and one red. I enjoyed both of them for different reasons. The red had a good heat kick and the green was a nice addition to the ribeye steak. I will definitely be back to try some tacos and the enchiladas. This is one of the more authentic Mexican places I have found within Jacksonville and Saint Augustine.

I've been to this restaurant a a few times. The inside of the restaurant is kind of small but they do have a back outside patio is pretty large where you can eat. The staff is usually pretty nice. Sometimes it can be a little bit of a way cause they do get pretty busy. I love their tacos and they usually have some sort of special taco tacos. Will definitely be going back!

I am hesitant to review this place as it is my favorite spot in Jacksonville and I really don't wanna draw too much attention to it but let me tell you it is phenomenal. A little hole in the wall hallway restaurant with some beautiful patio space. Be sure to stop by on Friday or Saturday for tacos Al Pastor, but don't turn them down literally any other day because the menu is stacked with delicious options. The service is always top-notch as the waiters are attentive and proactive. This time around I got their margarita special which came with a souvenir cup that a completely different waitress asked if I would like for her to clean it off for me to take home as we walked out. Our go tos include the esquites, Al Pastor tacos, and birria tacos though I haven't seen a dish that did not look mouthwateringly delicious leave their kitchen. Check them out, but don't spread the word --more for me.

The food was fantastic--flavorful and satisfying. The tacos were packed with protein, and the pickled onions added a great tangy kick. Everything was so well-seasoned that I didn't even miss the hot sauce. The juicy chicken did make the tortilla a bit soggy, so a second tortilla would've helped, but the taste was still incredible. The ambiance had a cool hipster vibe with a fun taqueria twist. We sat out on the back patio in the evening--it had a great atmosphere and the lighting set the perfect mood. The only thing I would've changed was the music. When we arrived, it was pretty loud and they were playing a fast-paced house mix. While that might work in some settings, it felt a little out of place--especially since we were enjoying Mexican food and I had brought my friend's mother. A more festive or culturally fitting playlist would've matched the vibe much better than a club soundtrack.

Taqueria Cinco is hands down one of my favorite spots in the entire city. It's local, fresh, and consistently amazing. The flavors are on point every time and you can really taste the quality in the food. Everything feels well made and authentic. If you want good quality food with incredible flavor, this place never misses.

So many options for tacos in the area but none can compare to Taqueria Cinco. Fresh, delicious flavor combinations, and so much food! We always enjoy starting with warm chips and salsa. My tacos were fantastic, as always, I can't skip their Al Pastor when they are available. We love the patio where. The weather is cooler and service is always fantastic too. Come here once and I promise you won't consider any other taco places in the area.

A nice little garden area to bring your friends or date, today's drinks with smacking on the specials. Don't even need to taste the food to tell how good it is. Always delicious, great place to try and great staff to enjoy your time here.

I appreciated they charred the outside of the tortilla and it was nicely crisped. Since I'm from Southern California, I was expecting some type of hot sauce like all of our taco shops offer, but sadly there was none. I would have loved a little spice, but the tacos were very good with the onions. I was pleasantly surprised they were out of cilantro, which for me makes me happy since I'm not a fan of the stuff. Overall it was a good meal and for Florida, they were pretty decent birria tacos.
