We went knowing that they would likely be super busy and adjusted our expectations accordingly. The parking lot was full, but their location has several adjacent parking lots that easily accommodate that. Luckily we were sat at a table in less than 30 mins. Service was slower as we expected for the day. We were able to give our food orders with our drink orders. The food was delicious and served nice and hot. They had a chips and salsa runner that was refilling tables pretty consistently. This was both good and bad... Good because chips, bad because I ate too many! I think we had 4 basket refills! They had a DJ in the outside seating area, a FREE photo booth, and several specials on the menu for the day. It was a fun and lively event and at one point they were offering shots to people. I happily took one! I have been on a regular day as a party of two and a party of 8 and have had fast and friendly service every time.

Man, it was one of the best decisions I've made on the road lately! The food came out hot and fresh with that real homemade taste. The tacos were packed with flavor, the rice and beans were on point, and the portions were generous enough to fill up a hungry driver without breaking the bank. I went with the carne asada and it hit the spot perfectly - seasoned just right, not too greasy, and cooked tender. Service was quick and friendly, even when they were busy. The place has that classic hole-in-the-wall vibe (in the best way), nothing fancy but clean and welcoming. It felt like the kind of authentic spot locals would keep coming back to. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the parking can be a little tight for a big rig if you're not careful, and they don't have a ton of truck-friendly seating space. But the food more than makes up for it. If you're rolling through the area and craving real Mexican food, definitely stop in. I'll be back next time I'm in the neighborhood. ¡Muy bueno! -- Carlos, SemiTruckDriver

I've been coming here for years, and it's been so nice to watch this place grow and expand while still staying true to what made it special in the first place. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. Even with the growth, the atmosphere still feels welcoming and homey, and the food tastes just as good as I remember. The taco prices have gone up over the years, but the quality and flavor make them well worth it. If you're craving authentic, flavorful tacos, this is definitely a spot you need to try.

The rice was very dry, but squeezing some hot sauce on top helped make it edible. My daughter ordered a chicken quesadilla, but she didn't like the cheese, so it went mostly uneaten. Like I don't know if it wasn't mixed well, or they heavy handed it, but I wasn't mad about it at all. The steak tacos were delicious and very flavorful. I'd get these again and again in heartbeat. Service at the bar was great. Food arrived faster than expected, but I had also got there as their night was winding down. My friends and I were originally going to eat here for Cinco de Mayo, but when I got there at 6:45, I was told it would be a 3.5 hour wait. They had a DJ outside pumping out fast and upbeat music for the party and an outside margarita stand for grab and go drinks. When I arrived back just after 9, I had told them to take us off the list. She informed me that they tried calling me. Nothing came through on my phone, but she did show her call log and sure enough, it showed they called me around 8:20. My friends and I probably would have stayed to eat here originally had we been given a more realistic wait time guesstimate. An hour and a half wait vs 3.5 hours is much more feasible. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be back in the future. I've always enjoyed Anejo.

Greeted and sat right away- 5 of us. Hostess nice, server nice. Right away had two large bowls of chips and two types of salsa brought to us. Chips were good, just added salt. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. And we were patient, super patient. It was a Friday, but it was not overly crowded, like I said - seated immediately around 7:40. Drinks, took over 30 minutes for a pineapple one and three skinny- we joked the food would arrive first, but we were very wrong. Then, the waitress waited for us to try- I think it was a newer person at the bar. We tried to like it, but somehow it tasted like flat sprite.our server took them away and made us them herself. Now, those were great. Small side of guac was brought after that- meant to go with the meal, but we were so hungry we just ate with the chips. It was very good- fresh tasting. Then we waited. And waited some more. Asked about the food, then waited some more. Finally, we cut our losses and asked for the check minus the food that never came. The band was starting next door and we wanted to celebrate the bday girl. Pic 1, text just after 8pm- shows me joking that I was going to eat my friends food since she was headed over from next door and taking a bit and we had ordered 10 minutes prior. Pic 2, text shows us giving up- 9pm. So over an hour wait on food that never arrived - even if busy that would be a deal breaker. We were excited to try it too- disappointed.

Shout out to Dani for making me feel at home. This is my 2nd visit. My 1st visit was on their Trivia night and the place was packed. I had their taco special with a Rice Lager. The food was great, the beer was better. Had the nachos fries on this visit, but I think they only serve them the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month. Imagine good food and better craft beer and you have got Tepeyolot Cerveceria. There is plenty to do here amongst the vibrant music and atmosphere. TVs for sporting events, a good sized bar with chairs which includes mixed drinks and sprits to compliment the beer and wine. Plenty of tables, pinball machines, shuffle board, darts. There is even an old school video game table with Pac-Man. Oh, and parking is in the back. The BEER: Firm Mood Session hazy IPA 4.5% ABV... bright vibrant grapefruit deliciousness... wow!!! So good and definitely crushable Rule G American Stout 5.5% ABV... little coffee, a caramel hint and maybe dry mint or pine?, this one finishes with high IBUs Manatee River cold IPA 7% ABV... a tad sweet and boozy, it is an IPA, but I could not pick out any flavors. I've posted about them a few times in the past, so old friends already know i enjoy this spot and count it as an official TacoTimeWithTrish must try place! Today hubby and I enjoyed their chicken tacos, steak tacos, and barbacoa tacos. The barbacoa ones being our absolute favorite ones! Tepey's started its roots as a small food truck during the Covid-19 pandemic while Luis and team worked on building out the brewery. Tepey's focus is based on Mexican Aztec roots and history, and that shines through not only the food that comes out of the kitchen, but through its diverse flavors of beers, with a primary focus on lagers. Tepey's is now a staple in the San Marco neighborhood and hosts many community events from pop up markets, live music, trivia, and so much more! It's no wonder they will be celebrating their 5 year anniversary this upcoming weekend and I, for one, am greatly looking forward to it. The floors were sticky and our shoes stuck to the floor. The women's restroom was out of order. The kiosks seem like a good idea but nobody there to ask questions or to get your drinks. If you can catch one of the two people working as they bring out orders you are lucky. The menus on the kiosks are pretty informative though and tell the ingredients for each item. Kiosk automatically adds 20% tip unless you change it. Considering you don't have any interaction with employees until they bring out your order other tipping options might apply. They cook to order which is nice except you don't get your drinks or your appetizers until it's your turn. There is a comment section to type no tomatoes or special instructions. Mine still came out with tomatoes but they promptly remade it for me. The food is pretty good. No complaints there other than having to remake one of my tacos. The chips and queso was pretty good. Chips were dusted with spices and served hot. We tried 6 different tacos and they were all very good. The tortillas were toasted on the grill which makes a big difference. You can get flour or corn tortillas. The chicken and steak were marinated before grilling and were big cubes and plentiful. The menu has a pretty big variety including a kids menu with chicken and fries. The last comment is their fountain machine for drinks. The coke tasted off. They may need to recalibrate it. Drinks are served in small clear throw away cups and the lids don't fit very well. Refills are hard to get. You have to wait for someone to come out of the back. If these small complaints don't bother you the food is very good.

The mahi taco was probably the best, along with the steak al pastor, but everything was oversauced (which didn't help the tortillas survive). The guacamole, however, was excellent.
