I know prices have gone up everywhere, but $14 for a margarita and & $11 for tequila? Food prices are much higher than a typical Mexican restaurant too. Quality was good, but a bit over priced overall for the type of place it is.

We go all the time. Food is fabulous! I don't understand why people complain. 1,000 times better than la napolero

Always fabulous food and delicious margarita's . Never had a bad meal. Always consistent

The tacos I had last night were truly the best quesabirrira tacos that I've ever had! The meat was juicy/tender and the shells were perfectly crispy (I did ask them to make them a tad bit crispier and it was noted) the consomé that came on the side was also so good. We also had the chorizo queso as an appetizer and that was also delicious. To accompany my meal I had a mango margarita that I honestly didn't care for as it didn't taste like mango at all but it was very strong so I will give them credit for that!

Pros: Large portions Food came out fast Ok service Decent guac Cons: Very heavy food Premade margs by the gallon Ok service Much better mexican options in town Bartenders spilled TONS of beer as they poured from the taps and just let it roll over and down the coolers into the floor drain. My husband order steak fajitas that had bacon in them- not typical for mexican food. Found it to be too heavy, didnt eat much of it. I order a shrimp chimmichanga- which I can best describe as a plate of slop. Omg there was way way too much going on, piled high & overflowing the plate. After 2 bites it was a soupy disaster. Smaller portions or separate plates for the different foods of the dish would have made a big difference. Again super heavy, didnt eat much of it.

Very nice servers/staff. Great food and margaritas! We went on a weeknight and it was a great place to relax and catch up during dinnertime.

I had not visited this restaurant before in the previous location but when I spotted it near the Publix where I shop, I decided to check out the Yelp reviews. All were really good so I decided I would stop in today. It was an odd time of day between lunch and dinner, yet they still had a fair number of tables. It is completely renovated from the previous tenant and looks like a Mexican spot. A good number of TVs around the space which should be a great addition for sports fans. I was greeted promptly and led to a nice booth. I ordered a red sangria and water while I looked at the menu. Their menu is ample and I like the descriptions they provide of Mexican dishes on the front. I was served complementary chips and salsa to start. The chips were OK but not warm. The salsa also OK, but not great. I ordered a small bowl of cheese queso and that was good. My entree was the vegetarian special that had one bean burrito, one cheese enchilada, and rice. It was very tasty. It was also a large plate of which I brought over half home. I was not crazy about the sangria or the chips, but everything else was good. I will definitely return. I noticed they did quite a bit of takeout while I was there and several people commented they were glad they were open again. Check them out.

Food is good, under staffed for a Saturday , I love to sit on the patio outside but it was unkept, tables was dirty and flor as well, I would come back if there was some changes!

    "Chimichanga"

Ordered take out and my chimichangas arrived packed with the beans, sour cream, and all toppings on top of them. They were soggy and disgusting because of way they packed and looked absolutely terrible. I know when you order take out you sacrifice some quality but this was ridiculous. The pic speaks for itself

Their cocktails are superb and very high-quality. The service is absolutely the best in the entire city that I have ever experienced. Not only was everybody friendly, but they were super excited about their experience and their products and were very willing to answer questions and provide any guidance we wanted. During our 90 minute visit, I'm certain they stopped at our table 4 or five times to check on us. It was not intrusive, it was part of the experience. We were blown away. When we left, our bill was reasonable, we felt we had a high-quality night out, and we made plans to 100% come back much more often. I just can't rate this place higher or speak more highly of it. By the time we ordered the small plates and shortly after its arrival I was convinced we'd come back. Delicious! Flavorful, decadent and very fulfilling! From the Queso completo, Mexican street corn and the carnitas tamale rojo that was perfectly paired with a pickled flavored jalapeño made the dish alive and tapping with flavor dancing on the taste buds. I asked the server to surprise me between three dishes I couldn't decide from. Dom, you're amazing; kind, courteous and you really know how to make an everlasting impression so effortlessly. The star of the show was the whole grilled yellowtail chef's special with a tamarind ponzu sauce that he chose for me! What a way to wow your guest and make them feel safe with trusting the palette of the family that's working together. I have to say this dish was AMAZING, Craig (The Chef) came to greet us in the midst of our dinner, that was a first! Hands down best yellowtail. My bf doesn't even like fish and he couldn't stop from eating it and wished he'd ordered the special. It was a nice, cozy and modern space and I love the ambiance! Can't wait to come back! Thanks again Dom & Craig!!

I had my first meal there when I visited Jacksonville Beach recently. Got the grilled bone-in yellow snapper, which was a daily special. Fresh, meaty, smoky. It was served with mixed greens and apple salad, some grilled green onions and freshly made corn tortillas. All paired well with the fish. The tortillas were about 0.75oz per piece. Moreover, the dish was served on a HUGE cutting board! I also ordered a side of Spanish rice, but surprisingly the manager took it off from my bill, saying that "[he was] glad that I enjoyed the meal so much"! The first meal was indeed impressive; it had been a while since I had had such Mexican food last time. So I decided to give it another try the next evening. Ordered the Carne Asada (asked for rare) and sub the beans with extra tortillas (to avoid high GI food). But the steak was disappointing: the first time it was served ~medium-well. The second time it was ~medium-rare so I did not complain twice. However, it was quite chewy. One reason was that, as you can see from my picture, the meat was not rest long enough before it was sliced and served. Service was good, friendly and quick. The restuarant was a bit noisy but I enjoyed the energy. Moreover, there were lots of beautiful decors and murals. I really like the tiger painted on the wall of their main dining area. So in short, I would recommend this restaurant if you like Mexican food. I would recommend the seafood and slowly-cooked stuff, like their short rib and pork shank. And I will dine in again the next time I visit Jacksonville Beach.

Midtown Table - My Second Visit Was Even Better Than the First!…read moreThis was my second time at Midtown Table and I'm officially hooked. The food and drinks are consistently great, and the vibe is perfect for a relaxed night out with friends. I went with four buddies and we basically turned the table into a family-style feast--everything we ordered was spot-on. We started with the meatballs and the Brussels sprouts as apps. Both were fantastic--the meatballs were juicy and packed with flavor, and the Brussels sprouts were perfectly crispy with just the right amount of char and seasoning. For mains we split a couple of pizzas and the lasagna. The lasagna is rich and comforting, but the star for me was the Meats pizza. That thing was loaded and so good I'm still thinking about it. The crust was crisp, the sauce was bright, and the toppings were generous without being greasy. Last but not least, we ended with the house-made ice cream. Holy cow--to die for is an understatement. Creamy, super flavorful, and the perfect sweet note to finish the meal. I'm not even a huge dessert person and I was scraping the bowl. Service was friendly and attentive, the drinks were solid, and the whole evening felt like a win. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and book a table. Midtown Table is the real deal--can't wait to go back for a third round! Highly recommend.
