Jordan, the girl who took our order was straight to the point and efficient, she also reccomended some dessert items to us (the honeycomb ice cream!!!)(SO GOOD!!!) when she could tell we were a little stuck on what to get. She seems very fluent in their menu which is always a really good sign for new customers and definitely helped me and my boyfriend. The ambiance inside is pleasant and very open- but i especially i love the outside seating and the fake grass field. To add on, I had no idea about the connected bar, Sidecar! Recently did an after work happy hour here and it was my first time at this location and it might be my favorite one now! Love the Happy Gilmore theme. The name of the drinks was cracking me up. I usually stick with the mocktails at work events so I went with a Somebody Kill me Please and it was quite lovely! A few people had cantaritos and love them. I also taste tested someone's Stop Lookin At Me Swan because it's just enough out of the norm to have a cream cheese wash beverage I couldn't say no. That was probably my favorite drink. I couldn't keep track of all the food we got. I had several slices of who knows what kinds of Pizza but they were all very good and cooked to perfection. Same goes for the wings! And everything came out quite quickly! I know we were a little bit of a large and possibly raucous (politely of course) crowd and the bartenders handled it all fantastically. Came here with my boyfriend and his family for lunch. I had the lunch special and got a pepperoni pizza and we shared a salad. You order at the counter when you come in and the girl at the register was kind and patient. As we waited for the food I did see a bug of some kind crawling on the wall and was pretty big so that was scary but it is Florida I guess. Just as long as it didn't get on me or the food lol. You can't go wrong here for enjoyable tasty pizza that's made to order on an authentic wood-fired Italian pizza oven. We enjoyed both pizzas we tried (Margherita V Signature and Flying Hawaiian with Italian ham and pineapple). The pizza are thin crust and non-greasy so they're not too filling. If you still have room after this, the Pistachio gelato is also worth a try. Service is fast here and we were surprised how fast they cook the pizzas here. This place isn't the cheapest but it's worth the price and I'll come back here when I'm in town. Maybe next time I'll try a drink in the side car as well. read more

We like to come here on trivia nights. The food is so good! It's a pizza place but don't sleep on the sandwiches and wings. The wings are out of this world delicious! Pictured is one of their chicken sandwiches but my usual go to is the sausage and peppers sandwich. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Sidecar is a really cool spot too. Always the perfect pizza. Always the perfect wings. I don't know what else to say except they are a staple, a go to , and a must try in Jacksonville. The Gate pkwy location has been a fave in the recent months, primarily because of the outdoor space. With large groups and kids in the mix, we're able to fully enjoy our time together and let the kids play without the constant worry of bothering other patrons. My favorite pizza is the Carnivora and the Signature wings are drool worthy. Pizza never feels like it sits in your stomach, their dough is something special! I love the fresh ingredients and the rapidity of service. We're forever fans of V Pizza. Sidecar, as an adjacent entity, has its own vibe. It's a great spot especially if I want to be kid free. The pizza was good but the service......Jesus take the wheel. It was like the girl ( young with glasses named Jordan) who took our order at the counter had just lost her dog. It was our first visit. She offered no help. No eye contact. No nothing. I wouldn't rush back here to be treated like that ever again. My friend organized a meet up with a bunch of pottery friends & I was so impressed with how quickly the food comes out! First, it was still happy hour when we arrived, so drinks were obvious. The bar was packed and loud. Drink were great, John had a whiskey & coke & I had an old fashioned. Food side was busy, but significantly quieter. We found a large table to claim. There's a small turf area that kids can run around in. It is counter service for both food and drinks so we placed our order at the bar. Food came out fairly quickly- kiddos got meatballs and butter/cheese noodles. Our group had a pizza on cauliflower crust-- it was excellent and eaten very quickly. I had a bowl of the seasonal soup (Tuscan white bean soup). It was pretty good- nice on a chilly day. Like most soup, was fairly salty, but overall good flavor. The side salad was very tasty- fresh ingredients and good size for a side salad. The new V Pizza + Sidecar near the Town Center is so nice and big! Huge parking lot, indoor and outdoor seating, and the bar is especially large. Much bigger than our usual San Marco location. We got the Flyin Hawaiian pizza and the Layla's Special. This was our first time trying the new crust, and we honestly couldn't tell the difference. The Layla's special was soooooo good, except I do wish it was cooked well done like the Hawaiian one. Next time I will ask for it to be super crispy. Tiki drinks at Sidecar were great as always. We stopped into the sidecars a week after opening to see if we could squeeze in and ended up arriving during the happy hour and finding great seats. The bar staff is so on point and the drinks were delightful. They're already operating like a well oiled machine! The ambiance and decor is perfect and as always the food was delightful. Our food came out very quick and was piping hot. They have about fifteen specialty pizzas as well as a make your own option. I chose to go with a caprese salad and the carnivora pizza. The Italian Wedding soup that I ordered for take out was horrible. It was salty, had very little orzo or carrots/celery in it and the broth had an odd taste.
