Davinci's Pizza is from scratch pizza greatness just a few blocks on your way out from Neptune Beach. The pizzas are made to order, so getting something to sip on is recommended. I've tried the Helles lager before and it is pretty smooth. The place has a funky retro like vibe now with the couch setup in the front. This is a good place to share a pie with a few friends. The tables are large and they stack the pizzas on a serving rack, so there is plenty of space to dig in. The pepperonis were very good and our kid ate it all up. He had three pieces to refuel from all the running around by the beach. The crust was crispy and flakey and the slice held up well. It is new york style without a soft center. I opted for the Jordan Ann, it has a white pizza base if that is your jam. I wanted all the veggie and peppers with my pizza and I liked it very much. The slice was able to hold it all together. Friday night is usually pizza night. Hubby and I decided on Davinci's. We arrived, ordered and grabbed a table. We started off with an order of cheese bread. This was so good! Delicious cheesy, buttery flavor, yummy marinara sauce on the side. A great appetizer. We also ordered a cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were very good! Crispy crust with a nice chew. Lots of cheese. Only thing to note was the pepperoni was all-beef pepperoni. Neither of us noticed this on the menu. I didn't mind it but the texture was a bit different than traditional pork pepperoni. Hubby wasn't a huge fan. All in all, good pizza spot. Nice craft beer selection as well! read more

Really good pizza and great staff! This was our first time going and I was impressed. Staff was friendly and polite. Their system where they ask for your name & phone number is so they when you call they ask if you want the same thing you ordered last and will remind you want it is. I heard them talk to many customers like this and it was so cool to hear and see. Food itself was great! Definitely fresh! I wasn't a huge fan of the artichoke in the Greek salad but other than that I would come back again. The pizza was New York style thin crust. Crust was crispy and yummy. We tried their specialty pizza Jordan Ann. So fresh and wasn't heavy like most pizzas that have lots of meat. Cheese was melted and stretchy, 10/10 recommend! We will definitely be back! read more

Checked out @davincis_pizza for the first time tonight for our weekly pizza night. Great pizza. The crust had the right amount of char and crispy all around the edges. We got the Poppa Op pizza. It's an olive oil base, bacon, ham, spinach, red pepper, fresh pineapple. That's right, I like pineapple on my pizza. And the best part is this was fresh pineapple, not the overly sweet stuff in the can. Sometimes though, a simple cheese pizza is best. And this cheese pizza is one of the best. Really enjoyed trying out Davinci's Pizza for the first time recently. It has got pretty high reviews so I've been excited to give it a go and it did not disappoint! The first thing I noticed were the wide range of options on the menu, each of them looked great, and they all had their own unique title and flare. I hesitate to review this place because I want to keep all the goodness for myself, but obviously I want this restaurant to continue to be successful! #supportlocal Total family small business vibe, simple menu with delicious fresh quality ingredients and tasty brews & wines. Hubby and I crushed a large margarita pizza- omg it was heaven. Flavorful, delicious cheese blend, tons of fresh basil, slightly crispy thin crust (even the tomatoes had a slight char on them). My husband LOVED the Maine IPA he had, and I had probably the best canned wine I've ever tried. Clearly everything is hand selected here. It's a very intimidate space. Update ----- Super intimate with just 6 tables of 4, 2 more tables outside , and 4 stools at the bar. Have 1 red and 1 white wine (skip if you are wine savvy) and a nice selection of small batch craft beers which rotates (know for them). Have 3 types of crust. Regular is a thin crust and crispy, the extra thin this is cracker thin and more crispy, and the thick crust is about an inch thick. They do about 90% takeout but it's not hard to get a table outside of dinner/lunch rush. Amanda & Jenn were out front - super nice and made eating at the bar fun. I got a small 10in pizza and a glass of Chardonnay for $34 (not cheap). Pizza had regular crust, double pepperoni, garlic, red onion and sun dried tomatoes. Really nice crunchy crust, quality toppings and very good shredded mozzarella cheese (perfect portion and not greasy). Overall I give everything a 8.5 out of 10. (My favorite most awesome pizza is only found in Dallas.) This is definitely the best pizza I've found in the Atlantic Beach area but I'm still on the hunt for a perfect 10 in the Jax area (and surrounding areas). Definitely worth trying. Go! We just went here for the first time last night. We got there at 4:30, right when they opened. The pizza was perfect. And the service was amazing. The hostess saw that my five year was restless and came over and brought her a box of crayons and a coloring book. Since we were the only ones dining inside at that moment, the hostess changed the channel from football to Bob Ross painting for my little girl... and she loved it. We were really happy with the service and the pizza as well. We ordered a pepperoni and an ill Clinton.... We had a great experience. Yummm this pizza is SO good. Typically, at other pizza places, I go for the standard pepperoni pie but there's something incredibly addictive about Davinci's specialty pizzas. My favorite so far is the Jordan Ann (garlic and olive oil base, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, spinach, roasted red pepper, and red onion). It's so tasty that I don't even add Parmesan, crushed red pepper, or ranch. Ok, I'm getting hungry just thinking about those fresh toppings and New York style crust. Disappointed. Did we get new management perhaps? Been ordering from DaVinci's regularly since 2018. The pizza we had tasted a bit off, almost like cardboard. One size only now, no medium, small, large, etc. They suggested I get two mediums, so I'd be spending $36 on two mediums instead of $25 on a large. Sure... I get it now. Some of my favorite pizzas are gone from the website. Looks like the menu was reduced significantly. Either the original owners took a turn for the worse, or I'm guessing new ownership, and their primary goal is to make money, not make a positive difference in the community. It's a shame, because we just decided we'll go with one of the other numerous pizza places around here. We prefer local places that aren't chains, and that's what we loved about this place. No more. The friendly young lady that used to know everyone by their phone number doesn't seem to work there anymore. I got a kid that sounded like I was ordering from Domino's. Our favorite neighborhood place to pick up a pizza! They do have about 7 tables inside if you prefer to dine in, several bar seats available, and 2 outdoor tables (not the best view as it's in a parking lot, but still a good option). Sometimes we go get a glass of wine and sit at the bar while they prepare our pizza and then bring it home. Love a classic pepperoni pizza and the Slice of Heaven pie is outstanding. We always get the garlic knots too, very very good. Plenty of parking. If you're getting takeout, they text you when your pizza goes in the oven so you have a 10-15 minute heads up. Nice touch. Ordered takeout after friends suggested it as a good pizza. Coming from out of state and was hoping this could be my new favorite pizza. Crust was blah, no real glavor to it and slightly undercooked for how thin the original crust is. Pepperoni was good, cheese not bad but the olives are not made for pizza. They taste fine enough but too salty for a pizza. The cheese bread was ok, again not much flavor to the bread. The star for the cheese bread is the marinara which was actually pretty good. If I am rating this place on personnel and customer service alone, it would be a five star establishment. But, I do have to take into account the food and for that, I'll dock one star. Deciding to head to DaVinci on a whim but not wanting to wait forever for my pizza to be made, I called ahead of time to order. The only problem was that I didn't know what they had on the menu. The guy who answered the phone was very nice and he went through their pizza and salad options with me. Based on his description, I ordered the Jordan Ann pizza with an olive oil base and topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, sweet onions, roasted red peppers, spinach and mozzarella. I also got a Greek salad. Despite my arriving earlier than the order pickup time, my food was ready and the pizza was piping hot. I asked for a side of pizza sauce so I could try it and without any fuss or hesitation, the guy put it in my bag. These folks know how to make a customer happy! When I opened the box, I realized that I was about to eat a great looking pizza. I only hoped that it would taste just as good. Thankfully, it did! The ingredients were fresh and the pizza was seasoned so well that I didn't miss the red sauce. Curiosity got the best of me however, so I poured some sauce on a slice. The bad news was that I had essentially ruined a great piece of pizza with sauce that had essentially no flavor. The good news was that it was only on one slice! The salad was fresh with generous toppings and the garlic knots were good but a bit too greasy and buttery for my liking. While DaVinci's did not remind me of the pizza I remember grabbing in the little storefronts on the streets of Manhattan, it did remind me that great food and great service can come from a little shop with an unassuming interior. read more

Yummm! What an excellent place to grab a fresh pie. We rode our bikes over to this place, my first timw here, and everything from the atmosphere to the garlicy aroma was perfect. While at first glance you may think it's divey, but it is extremely clean for a pizza joint on the front end. Nice wide bar, big tables with benches and of course a window side bar feel---it all delivers a warm, casual welcome. The bartender/waiter was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Felt like we were at a friends house. Pizza. Was The bomb dot com. We enjoyed the Great White (there are SO many choices to choose from) with added spinach, and the best thing about this pizza is they actually melt the cheese amongst the ingredients. All fresh and the pizza was made to order, so it may have took the time but I don't mind waiting for a fresh meal because that's how it's supposed to be. Say what you want about Leonardo Da Vinci, but his sauce recipe is amazing. When I first moved out to this area several years ago I started looking for my normal local spots, like gas stations, date restaurants, pharmacies , grocery stores and maybe the most important......PIZZA. On our third or fourth shot, my son and I bought pizza from DaVinci's. When we called, they gave us the exact time it would be ready. What in the world is this, no "about 15 minutes" or no "pick up anytime after...." Instead, they said "it will be ready at 5:48" and I hurried there to see how close to that time they were. Sure enough, my son gave me a brief smile when right on the time they slotted our pizza came out of the oven and was in a box. When we got home my son was in pizza nirvana at first bite and he did not talk for a good twenty minutes as he savored each bite. To insure there was going to be some left for me, I too grabbed a slice and WOW, this was no joke. Great sauce, terrific sauce and topping fresh and delightful. But it interested me, how can they be so precise? On return visits we have talked to the owners and found out their story. And over time they have converted their pizza oven only decor to include a small dining room and a cool bar serving local and interesting beer choices. And while you may go there to drink, do yourself a favor and try the at least a slice of their pizza. You too will be sold when you do. read more

This place is delish. I was grabbing a shaved ice next door and during the ridiculous wait, I noticed this gem in the corner. The pizza here is so good. My favorite is the Mr. Nice Guy. The artichoke hearts, olives, peppers... perfect salty combo. Coming in during this pandemic has cause a lot of places like this to rethink how they can better serve customers, but they are doing great at it.
