Garlic knots - delish!
Jill M.

Stopped here based off of yelp's review and could not believe how phenomenal it was! Super cute inside, everyone was super friendly, they baked their own bread! I had chicken Parm, which was probably the best I've ever eaten, the pizza was incredible, garlic knots fantastic, highly highly highly recommend!

Margherita pizza

Had previously had a decent experience but far from it this time! When we went in to order, we found it strange and unsanitary that the only menu for customers was on top of the trash bins counter for the restaurant. We ordered a Margherita pizza and garlic knots and they were not very good. I'm unsure as to what cheese they used but it was definitely not fresh mozzarella like the recipe calls for. The whole vibe was off tonight and between the workers bickering and them making me feel like an inconvenience just asking to pick up my pizza order I don't think I'll be back

This is the color of the back of pizza I prefer.

Pizza is excellent. You have several specialty pizzas to choose from for the pizza by the slice purchase other than cheese. Service is friendly and family oriented. Quaint restaurant with wall scenes of Sicily where the family returns to every summer. Come try it out!

Penne Vito's (amazing pasta dish w/ ground beef mushrooms salami in a pink cream sauce)

Amazing food! Eating at this little neighborhood gem is like taking a trip to Sicily. It is authentic southern Italian cuisine at its finest! We order take out here often and their San Danielle pizza is the best pizza I've ever had, topped with arugula, prosciutto, 1/2 cherry tomatoes and shavings of Parmesan cheese- unreal! And my husband loves the Penne Vito's it's a pasta dish with mushrooms salami ground beef in a pink cream sauce, he raves about it! Tonight for my birthday, we decided to dine in, it's a cosy place, very clean with several booths and tables, they also do a major takeout business thats pretty much non stop. Tonight my husband had his favorite Penne Vito's, he loves it I ordered a new menu item Linguine with shrimp and clams OMG it was amazing!!! Perfectly cooked huge delicious shrimp and tiny sweet clams in an amazing fresh tomato garlic sauce with perfect al dente linguine, meals served with a fresh crisp salad and garlic bread, everything is delicious. But they have my absolute favorite salad anywhere it's their special salad and it's an antipasto with pickled vegetables and cheeses and it's amazing, so I can't go there without ordering it. Also a shout out to Jess for taking excellent care of us, she was very attentive to our needs and checked on us throughout the meal. I highly recommend this fantastic family owned authentic Italian restaurant.

Pepperoni

Finally gave this place a try and it was tasty. They had some indoor seating and they sell pieces of pizza by the slice. There was a stuffed pizza that looked super yummy, the worker said it is not always made so I am trying to go back to try that. The pepperoni pizza was tasty and the perfect thickness. I will be back!

Just got a meatball sub, the bread is flat and horrible. Too much cheese on the sub and no sauce.

Pizza is slappin. Pepperoni roll is slappin. Slightly overpriced, very homey and family oriented with plenty of seating inside. Will return!

They don't take reservations so show up when they open or else they get busy. Pear fiocchi is a sweet dish. It was a bit overly sweet to me and wish it was a smaller portion as an appetizer. Shrimp rosato was the highlight for me. It has huge Mayport shrimp with a mixture of Alfredo and red sauce. Limoncello mascarpone is a fluffy lemon sponge cake with mascarpone on top with shaved white chocolate. Was a very balanced dessert. Will be back!

We started with the arincini and it was amazing! The goat cheese made it spectacular and the marinara is really amazing. I have always wanted to try the pear fiocchi because everyone raves about it and it is their best seller. But...I was not impressed. The servers seemed to know it needed help. Our server offered me crushed pepper and another server stopped by and offered chili oil and peppers. I got the sense they knew I didn't like it and it needed some flavor. But it was too sweet. Even though it is pear pasta, I assumed the added cheeses and sauce would balance out the flavor but it was way too sweet. Luckily they took it off the ticket and I was able to share lasagne with my husband and that was amazing. Just beware that if you order multiple things, make sure you get different sauces because if jt has red sauce, it will all taste the same. Vary up your flavors. Also we got the chocolate cake and my kids left half the cake on the table. They never leave cake behind. I will also add that my daughter got the child size Sunday Suppa with pink sauce and a meatball and she LOVED it. I am glad we went and explored the menu, but I am literally sad the pear pasta was not as amazing as I had hoped it would be!

I'm very glad as my server was very friendly, and the dining area was very cozy. What I Ordered: - 4oz Filet Mignon (Brussel Sprouts, Whipped Potatoes, Gorgonzola Butter, and Braised Shallot Sauce): Just the perfect amount of meat. With the amount of sides, I was absolutely stuffed and satisfied as the combination of flavors was perfection. - Dirty Vodka Martini with Blue Cheese-stuffed Olives: A perfect martini after a work day as I traveled to Jacksonville for work. Sadly most of the party we were with didn't enjoy their meals but we were there for a birthday and all decided to keep it to ourselves. It wasn't a busy night and our poor server seemed all on her own for the most part. Dishes piled up and expected someone to come help her clear for the party or refill drinks. Some of the menu items are delicious: caesar salad is exceptional, bread is spongy and olive oily, carrots on whipped ricotta are so good, and don't miss their homemade ice cream. But their entrees can use some work. The pasta is not very well made: not firm/al dente, no form to them. They need to change their dough recipe, roll it less thin, and cook it less. The crab pasta is (other than the noodles themselves) delicious - I would love to have those on store bought pasta or (better yet) pasta that is actually well made. On their lunch menu, their sandwiches are too thick. Way too much focaccia: giant slices on both sides of an otherwise small sandwich so all you're really eating is just bread. The eggplant parm should be eaten open faced. Don't get the Mr Crispy - it's disgusting: terrible ham and a bechamel with not-fully-cooked flour. Drinks are excellent. Service is very friendly. Love the vibe - a really classic and modern spot.
