Im no stranger to V pizza. Been there plenty of times, multiple locations, they just make great food. I recently Visited during their 2026 pizza making competition (an annual event that i was not aware of prior to this visit). 4 pizza pros, 4 pizza rookies going head to head to see who can make the best pie. 2 rounds; 1st round was who can use the secret ingredient (chorizo) the best, 2nd round was a free for all to make the most creative pie they can imagine (Wagyu cheeseburger pizza and Chilli dog pozza to name a few). V sold wristbands that gave access to a buffet of everything made for the competition. I personally suggest the gold band (not sure if they change it every year, but it was gold this year) which came with a complimentary drink and all day happy hour from side car. As always, the food was fresh, hot and did not disappoint. Live dj, great staff and fun atmosphere made the entire visit a memorable event for the family. Combine that with awesome food, a wing eating competition, amazing drinks, and the fact that part of the proceeds went towards the v4v foundation made this an amazing experience, definitely one i will be looking forward to attending next year. read more

I've never been to V's Pizza and our close friends decided to host a going away party here. Parking is horrendous during the dinner time rush and cars from every direction came in and out. The parking is a bit congested and small. Other than that, the outside and inside area was pretty spacious and there's also an area on the greens where kids can play. It's pretty loud outside so if you're not into alot of loud noises and sounds, this place isn't for you. I didn't mind it at all and loved the atmosphere. The area was kept pretty clean. You go inside and order at the counter, grab a number, and they bring your order. Since it was busy the day I went, it took a while for my pizza. I waited for like 45 minutes. I ordered the Salsiccia Pizza which had tomato sauce, provolone, mozzarella, spicy Italian rope sausage, roasted bell pepper & onion, and drizzle of Calabrian pepper oil. It came out fresh, spicy, meaty, and I loved the charred crust! I love extremely crispy crust and this hit the spot! Probably one of the best pizzas I ever had to be honest! I did have to go inside and grab condiments like grated cheese and crushed red pepper as I didn't see any on the table. And for drinks you have to grab them inside. The pizza was on the pricier side as I paid $22.00 for 13 inches. Honestly though, it's worth the price because the flavors and ingredients were so fresh! We had this place on our "to go to" list when we came to JAX. So much in fact we drove here right from the airport. Parking: there's a lot behind the building but it is a smaller lot and it's pretty busy here where cars are either waiting for a spot or just parking elsewhere. Walked in and they have a specials board written on both sides. They also have a fall specials list at the counter. There's a kiosk to order your food from. You do order your fountain drinks at the kiosk, but the alcohol and water at the counter. The restaurant has many tables, most long bar height tables that almost resemble a lunch hall - just non stop table for miles. After asking about the protocol on ordering we ordered from the kiosk. You take a table number next to it for dine in because it asks you for your table number at the kiosk. Being from Buffalo, we had to try the wings. He got the Calabrian and I got the crying Hawaiian. We each got a pizza too- he got the piccante and I got the flying Hawaiian. We got our waters from the fountain drink station and then set up at a table at the end. My wings came in first, then his pizza and wings then my pizza. All beautiful looking. We didn't wait very long for the food. Spoiler alert: the wings are grilled. Threw me off quite a bit because.... That's not what we have in Buffalo. We usually have battered fried, and super crispy. These wings were not crispy like a buffalo style due to being grilled. They however had a really nice char and flavor, plus they were super tender and piping hot. Mine had a small kick, his has a lot of kick. As for the pizza, he demolished his 13" piccante, he said there was a kick and that's how he likes it. Loved my flying Hawaiian- great blend of flavors. I only was able to finish half of it, and they have boxes to take to go - no charge. I packed the rest of the pizza up and had it for breakfast this morning, demolished it. Honestly? I think I should give them another try. I liked the pizza for the most part; the crust was perfect, I enjoyed the base (I love pesto on almost anything), and even the toppings. I just wish the chicken on top was more seasoned. That's the main thing that brought down the score! The pizza of the week -- the Hot Honey Gabagool -- was incredible. The combination of savory meat and sweet heat from the hot honey worked so well together. I would absolutely order that one again if it comes back on the menu. We also had the Bolognese pizza, which was also really good and full of flavor. The pizzas here have that great Neapolitan-style crust that's chewy with a little char from the oven. We also ordered the V Signature Wings, which unfortunately were the one miss for us. The wings seemed a bit overcooked, and the meat ended up dry and slightly chewy. They also didn't come out very hot, and the skin was a little soggy, so it didn't have that crispy texture you'd hope for. We came in and saw the special they had and i will say the Hot Hunny Gabagool looked great but I was going out of town early the next day and didn't need left over pizza and knew I would be having a lot of it on my trip so I went for Ashley and I's classic, 10 V's Signature Wings (always top 3 in town) and a wet Italian Beef since they are on of the few I can get in town that is decent. Our food came out pretty quickly and we made sure to sit at Sidecar and wow amazing bar with great options. The wings and beef were great as always. This is another amazing V's Pizza location. First time eating here, although I have been to the bar several times. We got one of their signature margarita, pizzas "made with love" which is the amount of doneness of the pie. Both my wife and I thought it could've been cooked a bit more and there was a sparse amount of mozzarella, I also thought while the sauce was fresh tomatoes was a bit tangy for my taste. It has a great menu but I find it is not worth the prices. It is far too expensive for what it is. Taverna even has prosciutto and pizzas that are less pricey for quality. The wings are great so it makes up for the pizza that is a little less cooked and soggy, not crispy at all. It really depends on what you want in a pizza NY, Chicago or what. You can tell this is a neighborhood place so that it has been around and serves its purpose for the community but it could be revamped inside for what the prices of the food is. The staff are good and reliable but again it's the ambiance that doesn't match the price point or food type. They make you get your own togo boxes or plates and yet it's still $20 or more a pizza. I have visited this place about 5 times over a course of 6 months. The staff are cheerful and informative and recognized us. The food is baked to perfection, V signature wings are AMAZING, bruschetta is ooooh so yummy. Everything came out within 7-15 mins.
