We love V Pizza!!! This was the first time we've been to this location. Have to say this location the staff and manager was the friendliest and most helpful vs some of the other locations. Today we ordered the CON CARNE CALZONE. It was very good and we loved the flavor. We always seem to get the pizza or even the chicken wings but today we wanted to try the Calzone. I usually go to this V pizza and sit on the restaurant side, not the bar side and usually everything is fine. Take out or delivery a couple times a month. This time I arrived at about 8:30 PM and sat down in the bar area, by myself. There were maybe 4 small parties sitting inside the huge bar. Most of them weren't eating. They were just there for drinks. Finally after waiting about 20 minutes the waitress finally decides to acknowledge me and asks what I'm drinking. I ask for a glass of water. She rolls her eyes and says, "Well, you know it's 9 o'clock and now the only thing you can order is pepperoni pizza." Well, it wasn't 9 o'clock it was 8:50 PM. "well that's too bad all you can have is pepperoni pizza." I wanted my favorite: Flyin' Hawaiian. I just got up and left. She obviously didn't want to serve pizza. I have supported this company and their charities. I have one of their really nice white V pizza baseball caps. The horrible nasty attitude of that employee left such a bad feeling for me, I doubt I'll ever go back. read more

I have been going to V's pizza for 10 years! It was always a great experience until now. I have never been to the Flask & Cannon location but my friend would drive 30 minutes. She always said it was more kid friendly than the Mandarin location. So we went. I have NEVER been so disappointed & disrespected by the level of service than at this location. We have never been so we were unaware that this location was similar to the downtown Jacksonville location. 1) We came in and we were not greeted. 2) No one explained to us that we would need to go to the left side of the establishment for full service/full bar. We ordered our food and were given a number just like the downtown Jacksonville location. We sat outside so we can watch our little one play, but apparently we chose the wrong side of the outdoor eating area. (No barrier to distinguish between the 2 sides) We were told we could NOT eat there. The server explained that this is for full service only. I wanted to order more as we were hungry. I thought, perfect. I can order an appetizer, a cocktail, and get my son some gelato while we waited. Again, we were told we can't eat here OR order food OR sit here. Mind you, out of all the 15 tables (both sides) only 2 were occupied. We were told, "You can't sit there either. (NO SIGNAGE TO DISTINGUISH THE 2 SIDES!) AND NO YOU CANNOT ORDER FOOD. You have to sit over there." Then the server asked, "Is that ok? (With an attitude). I informed the server, "NO. IT'S NOT OK." She didn't say anymore as we moved several tables over to the "designated area". This was our first time at this location & it will be our last! There was no apology or explanation that we need to go back inside to the front of the restaurant. None. We had no idea we entered the quick order side (there's tables on both sides.) I went inside & asked to speak to a manager. He explained that there's a hostess on the other side of the restaurant, (apparently there's more than one entrance). He said that someone should have explained it to us & said he would speak to the server. That was it. Nothing else. He tried to seat us in the full service but it was too late. I was so mad at driving 30 minutes after work, (I was still in my scrubs) to get treated that way that. I packed up my family of 3 & left. I am still so angry at the level of service I received. It was a huge disappointment. I hope that the Durbin Park location (once built) will have the level of service we are accustomed to receiving. read more

Taking a short walk on the Jacksonville fishing pier we felt a bit hungry. A slice of pizza would solve that issue. We went to Pizza V and learned you can't buy a slice. You have to buy a whole pie. So we wound up getting some appetizers. The meatballs were small but pretty good. The sauce is excellent, real tomato sauce that comes with the calzone too. That was big but pricy and had nothing but cheese. I got the macaroni and cheese with pancetta but there was bacon on top. It wasn't bad but dot offer pancetta and substitute bacon. Not thrilled with this place but you're a captive audience with only 2 or 3 places by the pier. read more

We love the V-pizza in Fleming Island so we tried this one after the beach. It was a Wednesday afternoon after the beach. The pizza and drinks were great, always on point. The atmosphere was good too, not a lot of people in the place. However, the bartender woman was dropping loud f-bombs left and right. I had all 5 of my kids there. We are also spoiled to having an outdoor play area for the kids but this location doesn't have that. Love the drinks, pizza and tiki decor here! My favorite drink is the Treat Yo Self and pizza choice is the Carnivora. Pizza is great every time and the drinks are made with consistency so if you order a signature drink, it's going to taste like it's supposed to every time. They make a great Mai Tai too! And my son likes their kids pizza and the machine with little prizes. Been going here since they opened. Always a delicious experience. read more

I love that there's vegan cheese for me. The bruschetta was good. But we went back today and the serve was SO rude. There were TWO signs, one said seat yourself, one said please wait. So we were confused and unsure what to do so we waited. I've served before and hated when people sat before being sat so I was worried. The server never came over. I looked at her a few times, more so to gauge what to do and she finally said from across the room "are you guys okay" in the rudest manner. I said kindly that I was unsure what to do and she said "well there's a sign that says to seat yourself." We sat down, she didn't come over, so we left and found another pizza joint. I just had what is quite possibly the absolute most flavorful bruschetta ever. I was pleasantly surprised to pop in to a beachfront pizzeria and find bruschetta on their appetizer menu. I opted to get it without the Burrata or balsamic glaze, but hands-down, the best. I was grabbing an order to go and it was quite affordable too. The service was quick, and there was only one other table being occupied at 2:30 p.m. on a Wednesday. I don't give many 5's, but this is an exception. I frequent the Palm Valley and St. Augustine locations of V's but this was my 1st time at the Jax Beach location. While I find the ambience and look of the other locations much more appealing the wings and pizza are just as good. I always ask for the wings well done. The V signature wings are my favorite. This time we got a spicy pizza called The Piccante which consists of San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, soppressata, Italian sausage, Calabrian pepper paste, drizzle of Calabrian pepper. Artisan is the word id use to describe the food. The place is small, kind of a bit messy, the pizza may be a 9 or 10 but the place itself is a 6 or 7. Note that this review is exclusive to the Jax Beach location. I came here for a quick Saturday date night around 6pm, and while it was busy we were able to find a seat quickly. To the left of the entrance is a counter service by which they give you and number and you seat yourself in the dining room. However, there are waitresses in the dining room that will take your order and serve your food so I'm not entirely sure why they have two different service options. We ordered a 5 piece of their classic wings to share along with a pepperoni pizza. The wings arrived shortly after our order was placed and they were hot and delicious. Their signature wing comes with soft caramelized onions and has a slight sweetness without being an overly sticky honey-based glaze. Highly recommend ordering these. Afterwards, we were waiting on the pizza and began to notice that several tables who came after us had already received their meals. We waiting for a little while longer before I decided to go to the counter and polite inquire about our meal as it had been nearly an hour. The staff at the counter told me I needed to go ask the other where the pizzas were being picked up from. This was fine although I'd generally expect them to figure it out themselves since they're familiar with the process. I walked to the pizza area and asked a lady there who looked for our pizza and then left. I waited a little while longer before heading back to our table after being ignored. We waited about 15 minutes longer before it came out, I'm assumed they had to remake it after I had asked. The pizza itself was very good, they have a great tangy sauce and the cheese is nice and chewy without being rubbery. The edges generally come out crispy although I usually don't eat the charred crust. Overall, I recommend their food but their service was lackluster - at least at this location. read more

First time trying this place. Had to wait for the people ahead of me to figure out the only kiosk in the place while an employee watched from a functioning register and could have taken our order. V Pizza is some of the best pizza in Jax. With multiple locations, there's sure to be a location near you. I've tried a few of their pizzas and they are all fantastic. On our last visit we ordered the V Signature Wings, Cry'n Hawaiian Wings, Piccante Pizza and the Flyin' Hawaiian Pizza. About 20 minutes after we ordered our wings arrived and about 10 minutes after that our Hawaiian Pizza. After another 20 minutes we asked for the status of the Piccante Pizza. We were told it was coming up. About 15 minutes later and a statement that we could see the screen and how long it had been since we ordered, they brought the second pizza. Everyone who came in after us had their orders of pizza, pasta, wings, etc. They forgot to make our pizza and had no urgency to try and get our pizza to us. They ended up refunding this pizza. This is one reason I'm not of fan of restaurants that require you to pay and tip before receiving your meal. The service goes down hill and no one usually cares about the quality of service. The food is very good. Everyone at our table of 4 loved the 2 varieties of wings and pizzas. The Cry'n Hawaiian were definitely my favorite. I like the food at V Pizza but the service leaves room for some serious improvement. read more

Downtown beaches area was crazy busy, parking was difficult, so grabbing the pizzas was difficult. Ut they were delicious, made with care and in a fire stove. They always come around to check on your table too. The salads are all really good and always served icy cold. This trip we had a nice bottle of Chianti to drink. V Pizza has by far the best pizza as well as the best cauliflower pizza in Jacksonville! If you want to have dessert they have a variety of gelato flavors! I love V Pizza and my new mission is to visit every location! This Jacksonville Beach location is very fun as it is situated right across from the beach with many hotels surrounding it as well. It is very simple to walk from either a beach parking lot or a hotel to get here. Pizzas offered are exactly the same as all other V Pizza locations, which I love because their crispy coal fire oven crust is unbelievable. However, the one selling point on visiting this location is that it is also connected to a tiki bar. And when I say connected I mean that it is all one giant space with V Pizza on one side and Flask & Cannon on the other, so you can literally order your pizza and then order a drink while waiting for your pizza to arrive.
