Half sausage and mushroom. The cheese they use is tasty and has a great stretch !

Ordered online for pickup. System worked well. Personable service as I was promptly greeted when I walked in. Pizza was ready when scheduled and was very good. You can see they don't skimp on toppings and I will add their cheese is tasty and has a great stretch! Consider us fans.

This pizzeria is a hidden gem for sure! The owner is so sweet and I always look forward to seeing him when I come in! I drive 45 mins ONE WAY for this pizza! I have placed too good to go orders here over 5 times now and I haven't been disappointed once! It's always a plus when restaurants participate in reducing food waste! The store is always spotless and the staff always serves food with a smile! I would 100% recommend stopping by!

We recently stopped in for a bite and even though I wasn't in the mood for pizza it was a convenient location and we were hungry. It's counter service and there's not much seating inside (there are also picnic tables outside) so I immediately knew it was more of a "takeout" type of place. I ordered the Rocky Balboa which is basically a cheesesteak with shaved ribeye. It was delicious. My sister ordered the eggplant parmigiana and considering she ate the whole thing (we almost always have leftovers) tells me it was yummy. Will definitely be back :)

We never had the pleasure of tasting Miei Amici before today. About a year and a half ago, we bumped into the owner who was new to St Johns county. We thought Mei Amici would host a dine in for our new apartment complex but it did not happen. Inside is small. However, there is outside seating. Not very busy for a summer day. I got take out, nothing to spectacular. I ordered a large pizza with extra cheese. And the winner is....NJ pizza! it was a great presentation by the owner. The pizza was really crispy but pizza crust should be crispy. I told the owner I will be back and will savor something dufferent on the menu!

Got the 2 slice special with a drink. Very good crispy crust NY style pizza with plenty of sauce and cheese. Would definitely go back for a whole pizza. Great friendly fast service.

Great service! The young adults that work there are courteous, patient, and are polite. They check in on you while dining in making sure you had everything you needed and didn't wait long. The pizza was just okay to me. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and a slice of pepperoni. I do like that you can buy pizza by the slice here. The sauce for the pepperoni was a little sweet to me, but it came with a good crust and the pizza slice overall was tasty. I don't really love chicken pizza anyway, so I can always take it or leave it. Overall, nice family pizzeria. They offer seating inside and out. Sports games on the TV's. Comfortable pizza shop.

We stopped in for a quick slice and to check out this new pizza spot nearby. It's counter service with just a few counter/stool seats (4 on one side and 4 on the other). Seems like there was some picnic tables to sit outside overall definitely a place for takeout. Everyone was warm and friendly. The buffalo chicken pizza slices were spot on. Thin crust and super cheesy. Looking forward to trying the hoagies and salads next time around.

I ordered (4) slices of pizza yesterday and the staff piled all (4) slices into the smallest box on top of each other (not even with parchment paper and yes...they had large boxes available...they were visible). I immediately balked at the presentation when I opened it - everything piled on top of each other like trash. I immediately asked for that to be rectified and was presented with (2) small boxes, which could properly accommodate my order. When I got home...just 3 blocks from this establishment, I found that the quality of the pizza was extremely poor and burnt. I've eaten the best that NYC has to offer across (4) boroughs...I'll continue to support Sarafina. I tried. See pic...this can't be for human consumption. There's no excuse to serve food this way; discard old pizza and treat all customers with dignity and respect.

So, this was my second time trying this place. The first time I went they had just opened and the pizza was meh. I wanted pizza so bad tonight and this place is in my neighborhood so I tried it again. It was disgusting, cheese was nasty it made me nauseous, crust was soggy, I threw both slices in the trash!! The other problem was that the young picked my pizza up with her bare hands and put it in the oven...FYI she was working the register as well...just unsanitary and I should've cancelled the order when that happened!! So, I went to Taco Bell and that was delicious!!

This was our second time at House Italian and the first thing we noticed we that they've expanded to double the size the from our last visit. We started with the Meatball Appetizer this time and liked it a lot. We like their sauce and the fact that it wasn't buried in too much cheese. We both got to pick starters with our meals as well. I went with the Lemon Chicken Soup which I had last time. I'm not a big lemon fan but it's not overpowering in this soup, it's more like a hint which is why I had it again. My wife loved the dressing on their house salad last time, so she went with that again too. You get garlic bread with your meal and yes, it tastes every bit as good as it looks in the photo I took. I picked the Seafood Over Linguini for my entree. Again, the lemon aspect of the butter sauce wasn't overpowering which is great. There was a LOT of seafood, just like the seafood risotto I had last time and the noodles were cooked perfectly. In short, I'm going to have a hard time moving away from their seafood offerings. My wife had their Chicken Francese last time and absolutely loved it. She wanted to try something else this time she so went with Chicken Scampi. It was as good as she hoped. She didn't give me specifics but she did say "oh that's the stuff" a lot from the first bite on lol. A couple of other things are worth note: first, we got there at 5:30 and even with the expansion, they were PACKED. We felt pretty fortunate to get the literal last available booth. I rarely recommend this but if you're going to go try them, I'd strongly recommend reservations for your first time. Just to make sure you don't show up at the wrong time and end up with a long wait because their word of mouth is so strong. Last but not least, shout out to Waldi, our server. He greeted us at the counter with a smile,, sat us, then became our server too. He was taking care of us, other tables, handling carry out orders and probably other stuff I didn't see. And the dude was smiling the whole time to top it off!

Fried mozzarella sticks weren't as crispy as I'd like (a little soggy). Good flavor, however. My wife ordered the Chicken Florentine (which was good) and I asked for suggestions and was told that the Tilapia Francese was excellent so I went for it. The Florentine came out on time but I had to wait for my meal. The waiter stopped by the table frequently to apologize to me for the wait. The manager also stopped by to apologize and offered a complimentary appetizer (Bruschetta Caprese) which was ok. Finally, after about 35 minutes of waiting, my meal came out. For the time it took, my meal was less than impressive. The breading texture on the tilapia seemed to indicate that it was prepared a while ago, but somebody forgot to bring it out. Maybe this was an off night for the chef, so I may give it another shot. The concern and attentiveness of the waiter saved this from being a 1 star review.

My Caesar salad was just the right size - included with entree - and they added a couple of anchovies per my request. The linguine and clams were great and portions were huge. I'm fairly certain everyone dining that night left with a to go box since the meals could easily feed 2. Add a couple more fans to this restaurant. Just a note - they no longer serve pizza. There are certain moments during a meal when you taste something and immediately have to stop and…read moreask, "What did the chef do differently here?" That happened to us at Al Dente's in St. Johns when we tasted the sauce accompanying their short ribs. We have eaten at Al Dente's many times, so we weren't discovering the restaurant for the first time. It has already earned a place among our favorite local restaurants. But on this visit, we came in for a full Culinary Duo review, and the kitchen prepared a tasting that went well beyond what we expected. And somehow, a restaurant we already knew managed to surprise us all over again. We started with the calamari, which is noticeably different from the traditional calamari plate. Al Dente's uses the prime rings without the tentacles, then sautés them with sliced peppers. The result is tender, flavorful calamari with a cleaner and more consistent bite from beginning to end. We were told that when the calamari is featured during happy hour, it can sell out. After tasting it, we understand why. The quality of the calamari and the simplicity of the preparation allow the seafood to remain the focus of the dish. It impressed us enough to earn one of our Culinary Duo Best of the Best Dish Awards. The gnocchi is another longtime favorite and Best of the Best winner. Al Dente's sautés it and finishes it with a white wine bath, creating the texture that has kept us coming back for it over the years. It is a great example of how a little extra technique can make a familiar Italian dish memorable. Then came the dish that may have surprised us the most, the short ribs. We will admit that short ribs are not normally something we get particularly excited about. Too often, the meat is served with too little sauce, leaving you wishing there was something more to bring the entire plate together. Al Dente's completely changed that for us. The beef was exceptionally tender and practically fell apart. But it was the sauce that immediately caught our attention. It had a wonderful subtle sweetness that was different enough that we had to ask what the kitchen was doing. The answer was port. Using port gives the mushroom sauce a slightly sweeter, richer character that works beautifully with the beef. Add decadent mashed potatoes loaded with butter, garlic, and herbs, and you have the kind of comfort food that makes you want to slow down and enjoy every bite. Sautéed zucchini and yellow squash added freshness and helped balance the richness of the plate. The short ribs became our third Best of the Best selection from Al Dente's. Next came the salmon with lobster ravioli, and this was another example of the kitchen going beyond what was necessary. The salmon was a substantial, thick cut, beautifully cooked, moist, and wonderfully tender. It was paired with lobster ravioli and a wine sauce, which would have made a very good dish by itself. But they didn't stop there. They added actual chunks of lobster claw meat over the salmon and ravioli. We love that. If you are going to serve lobster ravioli, there is something special about seeing and tasting real pieces of lobster on the plate as well. It reinforces the featured ingredient and turns what could have been a familiar seafood pasta combination into something much more memorable. The beef tenderloin medallions followed, accompanied by seasonal vegetables and a white truffle mushroom risotto that deserves almost as much attention as the beef. The risotto combined mushrooms, cream, Parmesan, truffles, and white truffle oil, creating a rich, earthy flavor that complemented the tenderloin beautifully. Risotto can easily become an obligatory side dish, but this one was clearly treated as an important part of the plate. Creamy, savory, and full of truffle character, it was an excellent partner for the medallions. One thing we particularly enjoy about Al Dente's is that the tenderloin is offered as a nightly special and the preparation can change. Guests may encounter different interpretations, including Gorgonzola, Marsala, or au poivre. For regular diners like us, that flexibility makes returning a little more interesting because there can always be something different coming out of the kitchen. By this point, we thought the meal was finished. Then the chef surprised us with a Dubai chocolate pistachio tart. It arrived beautifully plated with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. This is definitely a dessert for anyone who loves rich flavors. A few bites were enough for us because it was incredibly decadent, but the combination of pistachio and dark chocolate was fantastic. It was a fitting ending to an impressive tasting. What stayed with us most about this visit was not simply one great plate. It was the consistency across the entire meal. The calamari showed how ingredient selection can change a familiar appetizer. The gnocchi demonstrated technique. The short ribs showed how one thoughtful change to a sauce can comp

A fun opportunity to get the feel of country club living, all with excellent food and reasonable…read moreprices. We entered the Cimarrone neighborhood, and the security guard at the front gate pointed us right to the restaurant. You don't have to be a member to visit this restaurant, there are different prices for members and non-members. As first time visitors, we were quickly welcomed at the reception area and seated had a very comfortable table with a view of the golf course, and opportunities to watch some sporting events on the handful of TVs that they have surrounding the restaurant / bar. Our server, Ava had a great energy and a bright smile, and delivered excellent service throughout. The menu is vast and diverse, I had some shrimp tacos which were excellent, along with a fresh iced tea - Ava Even brought a carafe of iced tea on the side so we could pour our own refills... Nice touch. Even at the non-member rate, the meal was quite affordable averaging just over $20 per person including meal, tip, tax. Views of the golf course are beautiful, the high ceiling dining room has a modern light fixture, it's just a beautiful spot overall. We visited the pro-shop and bought reasonably priced golf wear. I also noticed a screen that referenced Father's Day specials, so I'd anticipate they offer other specials during holiday times. My wife and I look forward to returning to this wonderful place.
