Was ok. Appreciate that they have the option to add green olives though! Wouldn't recommend getting through door dash as a medium pizza and five mozzarella sticks is over $40.

    Italian sub.

We've had there pizza before and it was really good. Decided to try a stromboli and a Italian sub. Had it delivered. The stromboli was small but wife said it was ok. The sub was terrible. Not a lot of meat. Hardly any lettuce, and very soggy. Very disappointed. With prices the way they are felt like we wasted $35.00.

Extremely decent pizza. Taste, sauce, amount of cheese all on point except for the size of the slice (could have been slight larger), and while I love NY style, I want to be able to fold the slide and not have the tip of it flop down (middle of the pizza is too think. This is totally splitting hairs, but 100% I'll be back! UPDATE: I also ordered one to go.

A Pizza Shop That Doesn't Sell Pizza? What a Joke. I've been coming to this place once or twice a week -- probably one of their most loyal customers. The pizza is good, no question. But the business? The service? Terrible. Tonight I took my wife here to grab some pizza and celebrate her birthday week. While waiting for our usual large to-go order, I asked to buy 4-6 slices. Not free -- buy. The same slices that are clearly listed on the menu. The woman at the counter said no. Her reason? "We don't want to make a pie just to sell slices because we might not sell the rest." It was 6 PM on a Saturday -- two hours before they close. And I'm already buying a whole pie. This made no sense. Let me get this straight: You're a pizza shop, it's dinner time, you're open, your slice prices are on the board... and you're refusing to sell pizza? This isn't about slices. It's about how you treat people who support your business. I've spent a lot of money here, regularly, and I got treated like a burden for trying to order more. That's enough for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Friendly folks, decent storefront, good pizza.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But good pizza alone doesn't make up for bad business. I'm not coming back.

So fresh!!!! Pepperoni & Cheese slices!

I needed a quick spot for lunch with my daughter. We drive by Brooklyn Pizza every day and I've always wanted to try it! We did the 2 slides & drink special for $6.99. It was fantastic! I had the pepperoni and my daughter had the cheese. Both were perfect with a nice thin crust! Absolutely will return for more pizza!

two slices of pizza on a plate

Pleasantly surprised by the pizza- Thin crust, crispy, good cheese/sauce amount, and good prices. I havent been here in maybe 4-5 years, but this pizza was def better than what I remember. I requested it well done, not sure if that helped. Will def be back. Cant beat two slice and a drink for $6.99.

Pizza was undercooked. Felt like I was eating raw dough. Unfortunately I got the pizza to go, so there was no recourse having it re-cooked.

It's pizza. It's at the best frozen pizza, it's definitely not Brooklyn pizza or New York pizza or even New England pizza. It's average.

She was patient and very helpful as well. I ordered a bacon and mushroom pizza. My go to pizza. The places is simple: ovens, slice station, and the prep counter. Exactly what's needed for a pizza place. The mural on the wall listed the 5 boroughs and had the Brooklyn Bridge, as well as the Statue of Liberty. I mean, New York is there. The pizza came out fast and I got back. Here's the thing: Florida is notorious for having lackluster pizza. There's no ways around it. The pizza was cooked perfectly, thin, and a thicker crust. Perfect for folding. The sauce: not too loose and not too thin. Good amount for pizza, regardless of location. Flavor wise, not bad. Cheese and toppings had the right amount so it could incorporate into every bite. Now going back to my statement on Florida pizza. It's better than other Floridian pizzas I've had. It scratched the itch and I definitely enjoyed it. They'll get my business when I come back to Jacksonville!

The ham was below average, with one hard bit. My wife didn't like that there was so little pineapple in it. Our Napoleon pastry was pretty good, and I might get it again ($5 for a small one). We both preferred it to the brownie ($4). I don't particularly like brownies, but this one looked particularly appetizing, and the order-taker said it was one of her favorites, so we tried it. That was a mistake. Perhaps I should have tried the mini cream puffs, which are a favorite of mine (3 for $5), instead. Among other things I usually like, they had carrot cake for $7 and a cup of cheesecake for $9 (which seems steep). Their fruit shaped pastries looked beautiful (and a couple next to us said they loved the mango one), but were $12 each. Their fruit-topped Danishes also looked delicious, but weren't available any more at lunch time. They also offer milk shakes and loaded (sweet) croissants. There are only four stools here next to a bar, if you want to eat in. The bathroom was pretty good. I probably wouldn't come here again, but if I were in the area I might try some of their other pastries or sweet treats.

Julia at the counter must be used to first-timers She was so helpful and didn't seem put-out by all the questions. So many choices. See photos which are self-explanatory. While the fruit options are what they're known for, I thought them pricey, but ok for the optics, and a good flavor. All are made of the same stuff with the contents fruit-appropriate. I couldn't decide on just one, but with my only requirement being "not too sweet", I took the advice of a regular customer and got the lemon which was not too tart or sour and just creamy enough as to be likened to a creamsicle and also the recommendation by Julia who only asked: do you like coffee? To which I replied only with cream and sugar and I got that luscious lovely sl oblong confection. $24 for two pieces of delectable gorgeousness? I wouldn't do this often but it was a very satisfying bit of indulgence. Btw, they can't give you a cup of water, but you can buy a bottle of it. Or sit out back next to the pond with your own water bottle from the car.

We ordered one with pepperoni, sausage and banana peppers. While we waited for that, we started with an Antipasto salad. The salad was good, just basic. Soon the star of the show came out. Hot and steaming. The deep dish was very good. A bit watery though. Maybe they didn't dry off the banana peppers. Still, it was delicious. A 10" pizza cut into quarters. 1 slice was more than enough for a person. Inside is cute with a very artistic flare. Not a lot of tables. Probably the one thing they can do is put up some sun shades. Late afternoon, early evening, that sun is blasting pretty hard. It was toasting my back pretty well. Give Mamas a try for some very good Chicago pizza.
