Meatball Parm with Vodka Sauce...Killer!
Ryan R.

Serafina absolutely delivers. The food is fresh, hot, and comes out fast, but what really sets this place apart is the quality and customer service. The Meatball Vodka Sauce Parm was quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever had--perfectly cooked, incredible flavor, and seriously memorable. Family got the Meatlover Calzone and a few slices which were equallt on point. Staff was friendly and efficient, and the overall experience was top-notch. This place is a must-try and will definitely be a repeat stop.

Very disappointed with the food we received from Serafina. Normally, we enjoy their food and have never had any issues, but this experience was unacceptable. We ordered a large pie with half pepperoni and roasted red peppers and the other half plain cheese. The order was made incorrectly, with roasted red peppers placed on the cheese side. While we believe this was a simple miscommunication and not a major issue, we picked the peppers off and moved on. The bigger problem came with the second box. We ordered three different slices. Two buffalo chicken slices were fine, but the Hawaiian slice was poorly made. It was literally a slice of plain cheese pizza with cold ham and pineapple thrown on top and served as is. When we questioned it, we were told that no one orders that pizza and they were just trying to accommodate us. The owner, Vinny, then got on the phone and was extremely dismissive. He made the comment, "We can't hit a home run every time," and mentioned they were swamped because the Jaguars game had just ended. At no point did he take responsibility or show any concern about correcting an obvious mistake. I could even hear him in the background saying, "What do they want me to do? That's how we make the pizzas." That response was disappointing and unprofessional. Mistakes happen, but how they are handled matters. Unfortunately, this was handled very poorly. Needless to say, we will not be ordering from Serafina again. They have lost a loyal customer.

Today I tried the Sicilian pizza square, with pepperoni, yummyyyyyyy. Girls at counter are so kind and professional as always.

Supreme pizza

My husband and I picked up a supreme pizza, which has pepperoni, jalapeño (added on), mushroom, bell peppers, and onions. It was delicious! Served very hot so still warm by the time we got home. The crust was very tasty at the ends but wimbly at the other end. I would have liked to be crustier so you can hold it without it falling apart.

Really good authentic pizza. Super crispy crust on the bottom and edge I got the lunch deal. Two really big pizza slices and a drink for $8.40. Great deal super nice lady at the front and chill pizza place what's not to love for the price and taste.

Solid slice! Overall great tasting from the sauce to the cheese to the crust. This makes stop 3 on our local mini pizza tour. Definitely comparable to a decent NY slice. And yes, I know pizza, born and raised in Queens.

Sausage and mushroom

I really don't understand the hype with serafina pizza.. it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Lacks flavor big time! The white pizza was so bland, the ricotta was rubbery and wouldn't even separate with your hands.. The sausage and mushroom was good though the mushrooms are canned and had major flop. No garlic or seasoning at all on either pizza.

Grandma's Pizza (essentially margharita style pizza).

Small strip mall pizza place. Let's talk. Looks wise: the place is what it is - given it's a small space in a strip mall. Nine tables inside, two outside. A walk-up counter. Staff: (possibly the owner) Very welcoming, helpful and friendly and she brought the food out to the table for us when it came up. So, while it's not wait staff, they are good anyway. Wifey ordered an almost Margherita style slice (tomato/cheese/basil) and a Grandma's Style (same type, different crust). I got a slice of BBQ chicken and a Ricotta white. All four were pretty freakin' tasty! Two slices and a fountain drink for $10.50. Good deal, great food, friendly service. Can't ask for much more.

The place has a nice enough ambiance and the outdoor seating was nice on this particularly pleasant day. Our server was friendly and professional. The food here is good, especially when considering that it comes from a chain restaurant. Hurricane Grill & Wings got its start in Fort Pierce, Florida back in 1995 and has since opened locations throughout multiple states. That in itself is quite the accomplishment and after trying the food, I found it an enjoyable enough feast. If you find yourself on the southside of Jacksonville, Florida and looking for a good meal, head on over to Hurricane Grill & Wings. I am confident that you will enjoy the overall experience.

They have wings, boneless wings, tenders, sandwiches, fries and veggies. The cashier/manager, Angela, told me they currently had a 30 wings for 30 dollars special so I decided to go with that. They offer about 11 or 12 flavors of wings. I went with the original hot, garlic parmesan and the smoky bbq. All three flavors tasted great. I also got an order of the fries which were real potatoes and delicious. I went with the blue cheese dressing and I think it was the best I have ever had. It had a garlic taste to it. They have six tables for dining in, but also do a great amount of takeout orders. Service was fairly quick and friendly.

(Took forever to get drinks) Also, they ran out of most of the beers the people at our table were drinking. The food is overpriced for the frozen stuff you get. We grabbed a table on the patio because, well... it was 80° and Florida weather begs for outdoor dining. Great vibe, relaxed atmosphere, and a perfect spot to unwind. We only ordered appetizers, but the Kicked Up Nachos absolutely stole the show. Loaded, flavorful, and done right. I would come back just for those alone. The wings, on the other hand... meh. Mediocre at best. The "hot" barely registered and the Nashville was only slightly better. If you're a true wing lover looking for heat, you'll probably be disappointed. If you're on the wimpy side with spice, this might actually be your place. Overall, I loved the atmosphere, the service, and those nachos. I'd definitely come back -- just skipping the wings next time and going all-in on the Kicked Up Nachos.

Hubs & son love wings. I do not. They're messy, and I don't usually like to eat chicken skin…read more Bonchon may have changed my mind. Visiting my son & DIL this past weekend, both of my son's dining suggestions were wing-focused. But my vegetarian DIL (she eats some seafood) seemed to be more interested in Bonchon than the other potential spot, so I took her side to make our choice. I can usually find something to eat on any menu, in spite of my immature palette, and Bonchon was no exception. In fact, there are several other things I want to try now! We started with the Korean Cucumber Salad & Bao Buns with Pork Belly. No one that knows me will be surprised that the cucumber salad was much too hot for me. But here is something unexpected... I loved the cole slaw on the Bao Bun, and the sauces were complementary enough that the spice level was fine for me. I would definitely order the Bao Buns again, and try the other meats. For my meal, I ordered the Bibimbap with Bulgogi, and really enjoyed it. Their marinated beef was very tasty, and of course I love an egg on just about anything. Another (non)shock, I did not care for the Bibimbap Sauce because it was rather hot; I appreciated that it was served on the side. Hubs said the mushrooms & caramelized onions were very good, but I didn't eat either. Then I tried a Classic Crunch drumstick, and fell in love! Yes, I bit into it like y'all do, and ate the skin, too. What a delicious piece of chicken! I didn't even need a dipping sauce (& I can't remember what the boys chose anyway). My son insisted that I'd enjoy a Korean BBQ wing also, and I'm sure I would, but I was already getting full. Next time! Also for my next visit, my DIL got a Mopo Corndog as her appetizer (though she also ate a lot of the cucumber salad), and it looked amazing! The name was confusing (to me), but there is no hot dog inside, so I want to try one. Fried mozzarella & potato cubes! They have two versions, so of course I want to try both; although I'm rather skeptical about the sugar-cinnamon coating, I'm anticipating an unexpectedly delicious bite. Service was fantastic, although they weren't very busy yet on this Saturday evening. Our server was very attentive & friendly, and none of us waited for a new drink or refill. My son & DIL evidently visit often, so I'm sure we'll return. I wish we had a Bonchon location closer to us!

They have a nice menu with a variety of burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings, fries and onion rings, and Fountain drinks and milkshakes!! But I am so limited in what I may eat, that I had to ask for a plain hamburger and grilled mushrooms--cooked on a space that that was freshly cleaned off on the grill. I was so wrapped up in explaining this to very patient counterlady McKenzie (I believe) that I forgot to ask for lettuce and tomato. When it arrived at the table--brought singly out by Fernando (I believe)--I realized that I hadn't asked for the lettuce or tomato and I mumbled that to myself. But, I did not ask outright! Lo and behold, not a minute later Fernando appears with a plate of lettuce and tomato. How terrifically caring is that!?!?!
