We really enjoyed our visit. The ambiance was great and the restaurant was very clean. Our server, one of the owners' children, was so friendly and made the experience feel welcoming. The bread wasn't my personal favorite since I usually prefer warm bread with oil and vinegar, and this was served room‑temperature with butter. My entrée (Chicken Alla Toscana - pictured) was delicious, though I did add a little salt and crushed red pepper to suit my taste. Dessert was very good as well; the Italian cream cake was yummy, though the almond extract flavor was a bit strong for me. Overall, a lovely experience and I would happily return.

Enjoyed this lovely decorated and tasty Italian restaurant last night Trattoria di Bernardone. Was not sure what yo order and our fabulous server, Nick, led me to the right path. Not a pasta girl I was able to get the delicious lightly fried cod with a pesto glaze and a mix of veggies with a citrus sauce. Perfect for me! Bread was delicious and my hubby loved his bolognese sauce on his homemade pasta and yummy meatballs. We will be back!

Food was great and service was exceptional as always! My girlfriend's and I had a wonderful experience last night celebrating my birthday. The ambiance sets the mood for great conversation over delicious drinks, crunchy bread with house made butter that tastes like heaven & the main course did not disappoint. I highly recommend it if you're craving authentic Italian food!

We decided to go here for our anniversary dinner. We usually are out of town so I chose to come here since it's been on my radar. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance here did not give anniversary dinner. We had to sit next to the window so the view is the shopping plaza. The food was pretty good, but the pistachio martini was the star of the night. This is the best martini I've had. I'm not sure I would go back since it's a drive for me, but I was happy at the end of the evening.

We visited Trattoria a few days after they just opened. Inside was massive! Lots of tables and private area. I like the interior designs too! However, I was a bit disappointed, there was no complementary bread, portions were small, slow service, etc. But it did not deter me to come back and try them again as I know those things are part of opening a new restaurant and they probably got feedbacks from other customers as well, because a lot has changed when we had dinner here last Friday! We were greeted warmly and seated right away. It was still happy hour so I ordered an espresso martini, it was good! I like the contrast of the strong coffee and the creaminess of the drink. And yes, they now serve complementary bread made fresh in-house! I loved it! It's like a baguette but more dense on the inside. Sadly, my husband can do without it lol, but more for me! For this visit, I ordered the Bolognese, I substituted the rigatoni to tagliatelle pasta for an extra $2, and it was tasty! My husband got the Spaghetti Pomodoro with an additional meatballs. I liked it even better than my order, although they served it with a thinner spaghetti, it seems like an angel hair pasta. Nevertheless, we both prefer the pomodoro sauce, it was delicious! We ended the night with a satisfying cappuccino. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back!!

Stopped in for appetizers and a glass of wine during happy hour and was greeted by smiling faces of Service staff, delicious food and a great ambiance for a nice happy hour. Bummed we weren't staying for dinner because their food is incredible! Definitely recommend if you haven't been by for authentic Italian food locally.

YUMMMMMYYY I'm not the biggest fan of italian cuisine but i must say this place has changed my mind. It's family ran and owned ! Beautifully authentic. The decor is really nice and they have italian covers of songs you will know. My girlfriend and I made plans to come for lunch as soon as the restaurant was opened. Laura (the woman in charge!) did us the honor of coming over to our table and chatting with us! The ingredients are amazing. They source their flour from Italy! It's the real deal! It's used in everything from their pasta to their bread and the crust of the pizza ! Fresh bread is brought to the table with a herby butter. I asked for a side of the blue cheese vinaigrette to dip in as well... tehe. I'm also the biggest fan of the pizza!!! Perfect combination of sweet and savory cheesy. Green onion was such an unexpected addition to top it off. The pasta is the best! Cooked perfectly! No soggy pasta here! I'm so happy to call this our local Italian place. We're already got our hearts set on what to order next time we dine in !

So so so yummy!! Amazing quality, fresh food! Everything here is homemade and you can tell! The bread is a great texture, pasta is perfectly cooked! The vodka sauce is delicious and the homemade sausage in there was too! They used big, succulent shrimp! Loved the pizza so so much! It is such a great combo of flavors and the crust is perfect!! Drinks here are fantastic, the espresso martini was a favorite! The service was great! Our server was attentive and quick! We went at a slow time and one of the owners, Laura came by and chatted with us for a few minutes which was very nice! It is a gorgeous restaurant with a very classy ambiance!! Perfect for a date night! I will definitely be back to try more menu options; there is so much I want to try!

My husband and I enjoyed this quaint, romantic Italian restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious. We get Calamari everywhere and this is hands down the best we have ever had!! The chicken parm was flavorful and we left with full bellies! I would highly recommend for a date night!

Authentic italian cuisine within a relaxed atmosphere. Very fresh and inventive. Easy to access location with.plenty of parking, fast service and great food.

This was such an amazing dinner. True authentic Italian food. Service was outstanding, with a family-operated restaurant. We arrived on a Sunday when they opened at 4 it was quiet and great seating for large groups or family.

The best Italian we have had in Jax! You may get to watch the cheese wheel at Bella Vista for your Alfredo, but the taste does not compare to what I had here! You may like the atmosphere at Poppys, but this restaurant is far more beautiful! This family owned Italian restaurant is absolutely beautiful and has two patios to sit outside and dine al fresco! Thats is what we did on this beautiful day! Food is excellent and has the most beautiful huge bar inside. I love that it's located right next-door to the movie theater so you can do dinner before or after. Parking is easy with ample space. They have two patios both of which you can dine outside on that are nice. My salad was soo good. We almost ordered another one, and both entrées were delicious. We topped them off with a glass of wine and an Aperol spritz. Weight staff was professional and friendly, and might just happen to be one of the family that owns the restaurant. That's always a nice! We will definitely be back and I highly recommend!

Family owned restaurant. Our friends had been there a few times it was my first. The staff were great and the drinks and food were amazing. Being Italian and cook myself I was impressed and will definitely be going back there soon!! Th e Pistachio Martini was unique and delicious Calamari "steak" appetizer was so delicious, I had a special Gorgonzola Gnocchi with Asparagus absolutely amazing, my friend had the Fusili Campagnola which was my other choice, I tried hers that's what I'm getting next time. My dad had the Chicken Parmigiana and our other friend had one of their Seafood Pasta specials I think but everything was amazing even the bread and the marinara sauce they start with. There were so many amazing options I'm just going to have to keep going back. Plus the set up of the restaurant is great. My dad is hard of hearing so they have their eating areas kind of separated so it cut back on the noise!!

Second, the ambiance strikes the perfect balance: it feels elevated and polished, but never stuffy or overly formal. That reliability matters. While I personally tend to prefer red sauces that are a little less acidic, I can absolutely get behind Poppy's marinara because the dish as a whole just works. Everything comes together beautifully. And the bread? Dangerous. I could happily eat it until I slip into a full carb coma.

The garlic bread comes just the way I love- drenched in garlic and oil! Nice size rolls. The side of meatballs was the star. Four large balls with a nice mild meat flavor in a really good tomato sauce. The portions here are large and the prices much lower than you'd expect. A nice surprise! This was our second time at House Italian and the first thing we noticed we that they've expanded to double the size the from our last visit. We started with the Meatball Appetizer this time and liked it a lot. We like their sauce and the fact that it wasn't buried in too much cheese. We both got to pick starters with our meals as well. I went with the Lemon Chicken Soup which I had last time. I'm not a big lemon fan but it's not overpowering in this soup, it's more like a hint which is why I had it again. My wife loved the dressing on their house salad last time, so she went with that again too. You get garlic bread with your meal and yes, it tastes every bit as good as it looks in the photo I took. I picked the Seafood Over Linguini for my entree. Again, the lemon aspect of the butter sauce wasn't overpowering which is great. There was a LOT of seafood, just like the seafood risotto I had last time and the noodles were cooked perfectly. In short, I'm going to have a hard time moving away from their seafood offerings. My wife had their Chicken Francese last time and absolutely loved it. She wanted to try something else this time she so went with Chicken Scampi. It was as good as she hoped. She didn't give me specifics but she did say "oh that's the stuff" a lot from the first bite on lol. A couple of other things are worth note: first, we got there at 5:30 and even with the expansion, they were PACKED. We felt pretty fortunate to get the literal last available booth. I rarely recommend this but if you're going to go try them, I'd strongly recommend reservations for your first time. Just to make sure you don't show up at the wrong time and end up with a long wait because their word of mouth is so strong. Last but not least, shout out to Waldi, our server. He greeted us at the counter with a smile,, sat us, then became our server too. He was taking care of us, other tables, handling carry out orders and probably other stuff I didn't see. And the dude was smiling the whole time to top it off!

Arrival: There are parking lots nearby--expect to pay around $15-25. As we walked up, there was live jazz music playing in the courtyard, which set a really great vibe right away. Service: Our waiter was attentive and timely without being overbearing. Food: Everything was amazing. We started with the bread service--the truffle butter was definitely the highlight (we didn't care too much for the ricotta spread). FYI: the little cubes that look like white cheddar are *not* cheese...I learned that the hard way by biting into a square of butter. For dinner, I had the cacio e pepe and he ordered the 100 lasagna. Portions were a bit smaller than expected, but honestly fine after filling up on bread. For dessert, we shared an affogato--the espresso wasn't burnt (which is surprisingly rare), so that was a big win. They were cooked perfectly and served in a flavorful sauce with peppers that tied everything together. The balance between the sweet and spicy was so good. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna, and it was pure comfort. It reminded me so much of the classic lasagna I grew up eating, layered with rich Bolognese and a creamy bechamel sauce that made it feel both nostalgic and elevated. My boyfriend went with the steak (I believe it's a New York strip) and swapped a few of the sides to his liking. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection, a beautiful medium rare.
