Arrival: There are parking lots nearby--expect to pay around $15-25. As we walked up, there was live jazz music playing in the courtyard, which set a really great vibe right away. Service: Our waiter was attentive and timely without being overbearing. Food: Everything was amazing. We started with the bread service--the truffle butter was definitely the highlight (we didn't care too much for the ricotta spread). FYI: the little cubes that look like white cheddar are *not* cheese...I learned that the hard way by biting into a square of butter. For dinner, I had the cacio e pepe and he ordered the 100 lasagna. Portions were a bit smaller than expected, but honestly fine after filling up on bread. For dessert, we shared an affogato--the espresso wasn't burnt (which is surprisingly rare), so that was a big win. Overall: After the Resy credit, parking ended up costing more than the meal, which is kind of wild. Only downside was that there are just two restrooms, and there was a line when we went. We finally got to check out Saint which is a from scratch Italian spot that really focuses on house made ingredients, and it definitely left an impression. We started with the bread appetizer, which came with several types of fresh bread and an incredible lineup of spreads like whipped ricotta, truffle butter, regular butter, and honey. Every bread had its own distinct flavor and texture. Next up was the sausage appetizer featuring both a sweet sausage and a spicy sausage, all made in house. They were cooked perfectly and served in a flavorful sauce with peppers that tied everything together. The balance between the sweet and spicy was so good. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna, and it was pure comfort. It reminded me so much of the classic lasagna I grew up eating, layered with rich Bolognese and a creamy bechamel sauce that made it feel both nostalgic and elevated. My boyfriend went with the steak (I believe it's a New York strip) and swapped a few of the sides to his liking. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection, a beautiful medium rare. I may or may not have stolen about four bites... and yes, it was worth it..... We were way too full for dessert, but we did enjoy a bottle of wine with dinner which made the whole experience feel like the perfect date night. I loved everything about this experience and my food. This is one of the best places to take photos because of the old world style mixed with tropical vibes. The courtyard is stunning! From the roof top you will get a lovely view of the water front and the light house. This is a very hot spot in St A so pls ahead!! Parking will have to be at the parking garage because you will not get parking any closer. I recommend taking an UBER. You need to allow 20 min to walk from the garage. Plan to get to the garage an hour before your rez to make sure you do not run into issues. You can hang out in the courtyard while waiting for your Rez or at the bar. Had a reservation for dinner the day prior but was supposed to have a thunderstorm so we changed it to a 1 o'clock brunch. Absolutely best decision ever. I had the steak and eggs and my husband had the French toast and they were both phenomenal. Cooked two perfection on the steak and the orange French toast was unforgettable. We only stopped by Saint for cocktails on the rooftop, and honestly...no regrets. The Gabagool (vodka, lemon sorbet, and prosecco) was fantastic! It was bright, refreshing, and way too easy to drink. Are the cocktail prices a little outrageous? Yes. Did we still happily sip every drop? Also yes. The gorgeous ambiance, lovely views of Matanzas Bay, and amazing service made it feel like a splurge that was totally worth it while visiting. Even beyond the rooftop, the restaurant itself is stunning. Multiple indoor and outdoor dining spaces, all beautifully designed with a cohesive, elevated style and you can tell a lot of thought went into the space. We had requested indoor seating on our reservation made weeks ago but they still tried to seat us outside. The ambiance was fine but not as portrayed online. Even though we came in during brunch, they offer dinner menu as well, which is great. We had fennel and orange salad, feta dip and seafood bucatini. Feta dip was the worst part of the meal, it was kind of sweet, the chips were super fried, and in general didn't seem like it was as described in the menu. Definitely not a good dish. Short Ribs w/ Pasta - my dish, it was a really small portion, in fact a table mate had a side of spaghetti that had more food tgan I did. Plus, it just tasted like spaghetti with meat sauce, good - yes, just did not ever taste the short ribs. Chicken Parmesan - oh my, great portion, delicious fish. This was our first time trying the mozzarella curds and we will definitely order them again. I ordered the chicken saltimbocca and it was perfect. Wow. We went to Saint for our 3 year anniversary. I'm so glad we did. We had made a reservation but ended up sitting at the bar since the vibes were great there. We both shared our foods we got the shrimp scampi as our appetizer. Highly recommend getting an extra focaccia we did that and ended up being a perfect appetizer for two and very delicious. For our entrees we did the short rib bolognese and the wood grilled filet. We both loved both but definitely preferred the filet. And for dessert we had the limoncello cheesecake. WHEN I TELL YOU PLEASE GET THE DESSERT!!! Omg it was amazing mouthwatering just thinking about it. It was so good the next day when we were leaving we got two of the desserts to go to take back home. And Saint is the crown jewel of that evolution, in my opinion (though I do still need to try Collage which is considered the front runner by our family)... Located right in the heart of downtown, overlooking the Matanzas River and Bridge of Lions, the setting couldn't be more perfect. From the moment you step through the grand resort-style entrance (giving Sea Island, GA vibes), you know you're in for something special. Cozy booths, a stylish indoor-outdoor bar, and beautiful design touches throughout make this place feel upscale and inviting. Service was warm, attentive, and consistent--even as the restaurant filled up. Everything was on point, including how accommodating the kitchen was with dietary needs. As someone who's lactose-intolerant & on Whole30 this month, I'm always a little apprehensive at Italian restaurants, but The Saint handled it seamlessly--no fuss, no flavor sacrifice. Appetizer highlights from our group (and local family who are now regulars): * Crispy Zucchini Fritters - Giant, golden, and addictive. The Calabrian aioli they're served with is so good it should be bottled and sold * Filet Carpaccio - Among the best I've ever had. Balanced, not overwhelmed by truffle like many others * Pan-Fried Octopus - Not my favorite. The texture felt a bit off (like it had been dusted in powder), and I would've preferred a grilled or traditionally fried version. There is a large outdoor dining area, indoor dining room downstairs, and an upstairs bar with multiple patios to enjoy. We started with the bread service, which was tasty and plenty for 4 people to share. I also shared a Caesar salad to start which was huge, and more than enough for 2 people. For my entree, I got the Wood Grilled Filet which was cooked perfectly and topped with a lobster ravioli. We thought the ambiance of the restaurant was darling and cozy. Would probably return for that alone! Our server was very attentive if not a little too energetic, but ultimately seemed very knowledgeable about the menu and was super sweet. Now onto the food! My fiance ordered their bourbon and berries drink (pictured), and we both thought it was very good (even though I don't love bourbon)! We started with the bread service and we thought it was a fantastic amount of bread for the price (we are only two people and this could have easily serviced four). The spreads were delicious and the roasted garlic on the board was a nice touch. If I had one complaint, it would be that I didn't feel any of the breads really complimented the honey. They were all savory whereas I would've liked maybe a whole wheat type of bread to balance the sweetness of the honey. Again though, a very minor observation on an otherwise delicious app. We ordered the chicken parm and salmon for our mains. Wow. The parm practically melted under our forks and was absolutely delicious. A must try! I do wish it had come with a side as it started to become a little one note after a while. The salmon came a tad burnt--my suspicion is that the oil the chef was cooking with was burnt as opposed to him searing the salmon too long. It wasn't a flavor killer though. The risotto and greens were tasty but nothing special. The chicken parm was the star for us. We wished we could've gotten a dessert but we were way too full. Perhaps a tad too pricy for what they were selling and delivering too, I think all the entrees could have had about $5 knocked off the price it would have been a more apt charge. I'd been there before at night when they first opened, mainly to enjoy their fireplace, but this time we tried the food....and it did not disappoint. I recently found out I can't handle gluten, and the staff were amazing about it. They were able to tweak a few menu items to make them gluten-free, which I really appreciated. Our waiter was super friendly, and everyone was attentive, even though the restaurant was busy. One thing I especially loved was the outside seating/setup....it's absolutely beautiful. Reservations are not required, but if you don't, you may not receive the answer you like at the reception desk. I had a small group of five and were seated promptly at 6:30 PM for their dinner service. Drinks were ordered and came out quickly. I am lactose intolerant to a degree and do not eat beef or pork so sometimes my options are quite limited. I landed on the branzino (fish) as well as shared in the bread service, crispy artichokes, and zucchini fritters. I tried a little of each and every one of them were delicious. My meal came out and was also fantastic. They went through the special effort to prepare a side of white beans that didn't have pork in them for me (thank you chef!). They didn't have any dessert that I can eat other than the lemon sorbet, which by the way was also delish! I usually don't cave to get something so pedestrian at such a nice restaurant, but I wanted to partake in dessert with everyone. If I had any recommendations, it would be for the pastry chef to come up with something (anything) that can be tailored to vegan/GF people. You'd make a lot of them very happy!
