    Alfredo with shrimp

Excellent service and authentic Italian food. I had the Alfredo with added shrimp. Hubby had sausage Parmigiano panini. It was like eating half a pizza. We will be back for dinner soon. Oh and the quiet atmosphere was very welcoming in these crazy days.

The bread, the service, the wine, the cheesecake, the attention to detail all made for a lovely dining experience! My husband had the chicken Marsala which had a bit of a sweet flair to it and I had the Osso Buco. It was delicious! The accompanying veggies and potatoes however, were a bit spicy for my taste. Overall, it was very nice and we would return on another trip to Saint Augustine.

A hidden gem in a small strip mall. Found the location on Yelp while trying to find a spot to eat at while on vacation. Small, quaint space and we were greeted right away and told to pick a seat. Monica came right over and handed us menus and asked what we'd like to drink. We opted for glasses of wine. She then brought warm bread with oil/vinegar dip. All the entrees come with choice of soup or salad. We had the veal Marsala and spaghetti & spicy sausage ( forgot to get picture). Both were good portion. Flavors were delicious! All the staff super friendly and helpful. Didn't have room for dessert but display case looked tempting.

Absolutely the best meal and dining experience we had during our stay in St Augustine. It's a small place in a strip mall but don't let that dissuade you the food is great. Service was great as well. I can't recommend highly enough! A must eat.

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant turned out to be. We went on a Sunday night around 5:30 and were seated right away. It's a very small restaurant but the ambiance is cozy elegant. Service was good and attentive without being overly so. But the star of this restaurant is the food. It was fabulous. I had the parpadelle bolognese, my husband had the lasagna and my dad had the osso bucco. All three dishes were delicious and my husband even said the lasagna was the best he's ever had. The parpadelle tasted like it was homemade. I don't know if it is but it sure seemed to be. The sauce was so good too. The only critique I would give is that the tables for 4 are small. We were only three and are not big people so it wasn't a big deal but if we were 4 large adults it think it would be a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that this was a 5 star rating to us and we will definitely be back.

Pleasant small restaurant with very good Italian food comparable to the quality you would find in the northeast.

The hummus plate was insanely good. The burrata sandwich with prosciutto was a perfect summertime lunch, and the steak sandwich was also great even though my boyfriend only let me have one bite. The highlight was the Caesar salad because it was PERFECTLY briny and satisfying, and they're not skimpy with the anchovies. 10/10!

First, the seating. The tables are unusually tall, making us feel like little kids trying to sit at the adults' table. It wasn't comfortable for anyone in our group. Then there were the lights. They continuously blinked above our table, and it was so distracting that we asked to move. Unfortunately, the second table had the same issue. I know St. Augustine is famous for its ghosts, but I wasn't expecting them to be playing with the lights at 7:00 p.m. while the sun was still shining! The biggest frustration was ordering. We were told menu items could be modified, but after placing our order the server kept returning one item at a time to tell us they actually couldn't make the requested changes. It would have been much better to know that before ordering. The pickle appetizer was another disappointment. Based on the description, I expected a pickle-forward appetizer. Instead, it was mostly kimchi, pickled onions, and other pickled vegetables with only five slices of actual pickles. I honestly don't have the words to describe how disappointing that dish was. I was also excited to try the tzatziki green beans, but the crisp pickled green beans tasted more like fermented green sticks than an enjoyable side dish. The baked Brie arrived with what I initially thought was melted cheese inside the croissant, but it turned out to be undercooked raw dough. Imagine my surprise when I realized I had just taken a bite of raw dough. I actually started feeling sick before we even left the restaurant. My younger son ordered the house root beer, which tasted extremely watered down. He also had the pasta with added grilled chicken, but the chicken was dark meat, overly shiny, and completely unappetizing to him. I ordered the non-alcoholic Velvet Slippers mocktail. One sip was enough--I honestly can't find the words to describe how unpleasant it tasted. My friend ordered the steak sandwich and requested the peppers be left off. After ordering, she was told they couldn't accommodate that request, so she had to pick the peppers off herself and still didn't enjoy the sandwich. My older son ordered the lamb sirloin. Even though lamb is often served medium-rare, this was so rare it looked like it was still bleating. We paid our bill before dessert because my stomach was already upset. I ended up making one last stop in the restroom before catching up with my family, who were already halfway down the street, ready to forget Forgotten Tonic. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had. Between the uncomfortable seating, blinking lights, inability to accommodate simple modifications, disappointing food, and getting sick before leaving the restaurant, we won't be returning.
