As soon as you walk into here all you see is lush, beautiful trees, plants and foliage and you can't help but feel relaxed and ready for a glass of wine!! What a beautiful atmosphere it is!! It is somewhat off the beaten path and not on the main drag in the town, but well worth turning down to Treasury Street and following the music to here!!! I walked in and was taken aback but what I saw. Besides its beautiful landscape, the wine choices are fantastic and nice pours as well. We didn't get anything from the food menu, but the Charcuterie Board on the table next to us looked amazing. They have music every night and host a Full Moon Tasting Event as well as a Wine Walk through the town (I will take pictures when I go and post them) and Trivia nights with a band. This place is amazing. The ambience is beautiful, the performer was incredible and the charcuterie board was to die for. Our only complaint was the server. Derek was very spacey and kept forgetting to bring us what we ordered. I ordered a moscato and he brought me a pinot noir. We asked for the check twice before we got it. We had a great time here! The live music was cancelled due to the rain but we stayed and enjoyed some wine and their fish dip! The waitress was so kind and helpful, she made sure we got the right choice of wine. We tasted several different wines before purchasing a bottle to share at the table. The courtyard was so cute with lots of greenery and string lights. The fish dip was also tasty! They unfortunately stopped food service shortly after us arriving but we will be back to try the vegan cheese! Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the ambiance! My mom and I came here for my birthday specifically for wine and charcuterie. The garden set up was cute but I think could use some sprucing up. It would be nice to have had the tables and chairs on something more sturdy so you don't sink or risk rolling an ankle. It is probably really pretty at night with the lights on and some live music. The server, who might have been the owner, was sweet and attentive but she was also enjoying her own charcuterie board which was a little odd to see. Nothing wrong with having your lunch or snack, but maybe do it on a break or away from guests? We ordered the largest charcuterie option which came with 4 items. We chose 3 cheeses and 1 meat. All were delicious. I am a tad picky on the accoutrements and how they are logically provided for a charcuterie board. I would have liked to have seen another jam or sauce to go with the honey. Maybe a mustard to provide a savory option. We were given one giant strawberry. Maybe slice it up? Or give a few. More nuts would have been nice. I did love the sliced baguette but it was cold and drizzled with olive oil. Would have been better toasted. When we were sat the hostess/server/owner made a point to tell us that all their wines are from smaller, independent wineries- which I love! But the menu didn't tell you where the wines were from. Or maybe it wasn't explained well how they source their wine selection. But my glass of Malbec could have just been from Trader Joe's and I'll never know. Not sure I will come back. I think there is room for improvement. I think the building of the charcuterie board could use some more fine tuning and finesse. read more

Came here because of the vegan cheese plate and it did not disappoint. Our server was amazing, very knowledgeable on the wine and super attentive. I believe her name was Clarissa or Larissa. There was a group of people who brought a group of kids that were acting like maniacs and it was stressing everyone out as they took over the place with cartwheels, running through the decorations and overall being obnoxious. Our server handled it with class and ease and apologized to us, although it did not affect our experience and was nothing she could do anything about anyway. I'll never understand how people bring children to something like a wine bar, and don't ensure that their kids behave so the other adults can enjoy their evening. The wine was wonderful, the amazing vegan cheese plate was by Miyokos, and it set the mood for a great first night in St Augustine. Our server truly had 100% to do with this. As I left, I handed the payment folder to another employee to hand to our server since we tipped in cash and the out of control kids were monitoring my every move once they saw cash...and I was afraid it might not make it to the server. We had terrible service and a bad experience overall. Debra was abrasive and argumentative from the get go. The food wasn't great either, the vegan cheese plate is not what it used to be. They changed up the food. When we inquired about the accompaniments, Debra became flustered. We wanted to cancel and leave, but even though the food wasn't brought out, she kept saying we have to pay for it, which is not true! You can refuse the order if the food wasn't even brought to you, and the waitress is making the experience crap from the get go. Thanks in large to a Tasting Tour that my wife and I went to, I have gotten some better knowledge of wines now. Casa de Vino 57 was the 3rd venue stop of our Tasting Tour. Patty (owner of Casa de Vino 57) introduced us to about 15 bottles of wines. And what's great about the wine lineup was Patty separated and arranged them from Dry to Sweet level. In terms of wines, I seem to gravitate towards medium to sweet wines, and Patty had enough available for me to sample. We had a chance to sample 3 wines, which I selected: -- Sangue Di Giuda: This is considered a dessert wine. And it is best described as a "high end Sangria". It definitely automatically became my favorite of the 3 drinks I tried. But what lured me the most is the popular legend that followed the wine. Short story version was the nuns in the past took enjoyment in drinking this wine, that ultimately the wine had to be renamed to it current name now, Sangue Di Giuda which means "Blood of Judas", which helped prevented the nuns from ever drinking the wine ever again. I really liked this wine. -- El Capricho Tanat: This is a Red Wine and what drew my interest to it was the fact that it was made in Uruguay and I was told that it was high on antioxidants. Made in Uruguay + high in antioxidants, that is a win-win for me. -- Pineapple Moscato by Tomasello Winery: Again, I like sweet stuff, Moscatos works for me. This Moscato has Pineapple in it so it was definitely a try for me. It was good. Pair those drinks with a Charcuterie Board already prepared for you, then you have yourself a nice, relaxing drink and sampling time. Cheers !!! read more

What a cute wine bar! It appears to be woman owned and has a great location among the tourist spots. I stopped by after lunch and enjoyed a flight on the patio. The sparkling rose and Tempranillo were my faves. The server was appropriately attentive. It looks like they have a small stage and dance floor on the patio so I'm guessing they also host live music.
