Excellent lunch. Had the Fish & Chips and Pub Dog. Excellent service as well. TV's all around to watch sports action. Local "Tartan Army" was there Friday enjoying the World Cup with bagpipes and drums. Small but can hold a crowd. Lots of ales and wines to complement the menu. Open 7-days a week at 11:30 am.

I have driven past this place on US 1 dozens of times. Today I was in the neighborhood and figured I would give it a try. It's basically an Irish/English pub with about 5 or 6 appetizers and 5 or 6 entrees. I had the fish and chips. It was three small pieces of fried fish and a serving of steak fries. I also got an unsweetened iced tea which tasted a little off. Service was fairly quick.

Great pub! Fish and chips are great. Love the ambiance. Great tap list. Here watching FIFA World Cup.

A real find! Authentic pub vibe. Service is excellent. The Fish & Chips are as good or better than we had in Iceland and that is saying something! Great beer selection with flights of 4 and 6 offered. If you like ales, stouts, ciders and Lambics then put this pub on your radar.

Doesn't look much different than before the renovation

The food was good I had fish and chips. Bonus points for the tartar sauce with dill- very good. So was the coating on the fish. Service was great too. The ambiance is definitely NOT British pub. I'm not sure the place knows what it is. They have a great selection of beers and wine. The food menu was just a bit limited. They have a bratwurst sandwich. Couple of good sounding burgers Too. It's not bad I think it needs to find its footing. If someone asked me what kind of cuisine. I couldn't answer. Add Shepard pie, scotch eggs and a curry and call yourself "European" Great location just north of the crazy downtown. Free parking outside seating. I think we just miss the British pub price and limited menu is why it's just A/ok in my review. Give it a try

On my home from a rough work day I remembered The Wobbly Whale. This girl needed a beer and a new place! I found both. 4pm in the afternoon and the place was bustling. Full of conversations, beer and delicious beer. I was a one and done and choose a Sullivan Red Ale. Delicious. I can't wait to return try some grub and a few more brews!

Came in on a Tuesday at lunch. First visit since the new owners and updates. First impression is that this is not a British pub. It looks like a corporate dive bar. Americans love the look of what they think a traditional pub looks like. This misses that mark. Service was friendly and prompt. There was only one other customer at the time. The number of beers available and selection was good. As for the food.... The food menus was very limited. Except for the fish and chips, not very English. No shepherds pie, Indian food offerings, no Tika for the fries, no Scottish eggs. I had the fish and chips which was good. All-in-all, I left feeling "meh". I wish them well but there is nothing to entice me to take the 15 minute drive to come back.

Size of pretzel relative to my hand. Not a bad size!

I agree with a previous posted about things being bland and stripped down. It felt boring inside. We waited ten minutes to get the attention of our waitress, who was super nice. We ordered pork belly and a large pub pretzel. Food was good, but as you see, the menu had become so minimal, and not even close to what one might expect to see at a British pub.

We have been anxiously awaiting the newly opened Wobbly Whale! We do recognize that they just opened so there will be some kinks to work out. Service was pretty slow for our first visit, but we let that slide. Once we finally got food- the pretzel was very good! I wish they would've either given more of the cheese-- since the pretzel was so big, or add a second dip like a specialty mustard. I had the smash burger with goat cheese. It was good, but I thought it was lacking in flavor slightly. We did like that for a football Sunday, it wasn't overly loud inside. We could enjoy the game, our food, and still have a conversation with each other. We will come again and reassess once they've been open for a little bit.

This has officially become our go-to hangout every time we're in town. The live music scene here is unbeatable--whether it's a full band, a solo singer, or anything in between, they are always bringing the energy. It honestly feels like the music hub of Old Town St. Augustine. They keep it simple with beer and wine only, but as a wine girl, I was SO happy to see they serve Decoy Cabernet No cheap, bottom-of-the-barrel wine here--thank you!! The atmosphere is what really makes this place special though. The staff is consistently welcoming, and we absolutely adore the bartender Rose--she's the best and makes every visit feel like you're among friends. And speaking of friends... somehow this last trip we ended up chatting with a total stranger who knew a bunch of our friends back home. Small world moment for sure and just adds to that fun, connected vibe this place has. Great music, great people, great wine--what more could you want? We'll be back every single time!
