Today's five star goes to the Service we received from AJ and Erik, the general manager. Both of them delivered such spectacular customer center service that it deserves the five stars! With open lines of communication, they were communicative, ensuring that our needs were met. I was very impressed with how they ensure customer satisfaction. This was my first time here, but I came with friends who had been here several times. The chicken wrap smelled outstanding and looked great. Very robust with chicken! The meatloaf my friend said was phenomenal and interestingly enough they do make it with milk. The Philly cheesesteak looked really great. The chicken pot pie however I will say was definitely not a fan favorite here. I had a different vision of pot pie, which this was not it rather it was the fact on the salty side from me. Not sure what the base was but flavor wise it definitely was not for me. But on a positive note, it was made with white meat chicken. The biscuit on top not a fan favored either. Overall, the five stars goes to the outstanding service we received and the reviews of my friends and their meal. They were very gracious here at the restaurant with taking care of the pot pie since it was not eaten. We were back in St Augustine for Day 2 of the River City Wrestling Con so we had brunch at 2 Creeks Bar & Grill. They're at 74 Capulet Drive, somewhat near the World Golf Village. I've included a screenshot from Google Maps to help out with finding them. I went with the Crab Quiche, which was decent. It comes with a side of hash browns which were fantastic. I normally wouldn't go on about hash browns but these were REALLY good! The thing that held the quiche back from being great was that there wasn't a whole lot of crab meat. Lauren had the Breakfast Burrito, added sausage to it and asked for a side of Pico which is something she learned from a previous visit. She's had this burrito before and loves it. She was going on and on about how much she loves it today as well. She actually said "I wish this place was closer to our house because we'd be here way more often" to which I replied "yeah but we have University Diner right by our house, so we're not hurting". Which leads me to a very funny situation: A gentleman showed up at our table like 30 seconds later and said "Hi, I hear you guys go to University Diner? Do you know Andrew? He's my son". We were like "YES! We know Andy!" but the funnier thing was like Lauren had a revelation and said "OH! THAT'S why I love this breakfast burrito so much!" We came to the area for a late Sunday brunch -- it was BUSY! Thankfully we only had to wait for a few minutes to get a table, and the hostess was super friendly. There's tables and booths and bar seating, so plenty of options. It's a decent size space but definitely not a big restaurant. We sat in a corner booth and had excellent service. We all ordered very different things and everything came out at the same time and the right temperature. I asked for a grapefruit mimosa with light juice and it was perfect. My friend got a peach mimosa and was super happy with it. TONS of options on the menu for all types of meals and for any time of day. It was a fun place to try and convenient for where we were all driving in from. My wife and I had breakfast today. We arrived around 11:15 so it wasn't very busy yet. My wife had an omelette and I had the breakfast bowl (biscuits and gravy covered with 2 eggs) with a side of bacon. As usual our meals were delicious. I occasionally noticed a dirty dishrag smell but that's either bc we went early and not many other food smells existed yet, we sat at the bar, or we sat by the kitchen. What a Yelp find that we are going back again for breakfast the next day. As suggested by Yelp reviewers, waffle and chicken stuffed. Left over a quarter waffle. With pepper sauce amazing and extra yummy. Waffle cooked perfectly but served cold. Chicken was large and great. Western omelette was good. Service was excellent, staff amazing and helpful. I've been coming to 2 creeks for over a YEAR and it's never been the best to say the least and today was worse than usual. For starters, our server was barely there to help us and when she was at our table she would say "your food will be here soon!" - when it's clear that she or the kitchen forgot about our order since she was to busy talking to people at the bar. It took almost an hour (after we ordered) to get our food and my nine year old daughter got four piece tenders..instead she got a 3 breaded chicken breasts, while my husbands and my food was horrible. we barely ate since it was bad. I usually stick to my tried-and-true veggie omelet, but this time, I decided to branch out and order the chicken tenders and waffles. Let me warn you--the menu is deceiving! When my plate arrived, I was shocked (in the best way possible) to see three full chicken breasts nestled between four pieces of waffles. I was so surprised that I completely forgot to take a picture of the full dish--but I did snap a shot of the two massive chicken breasts I had to take home. Talk about generous portions! Even on a rainy Sunday morning, the restaurant was busy, but the atmosphere remained clean and welcoming. We were seated after a very brief wait, which was impressive. When I jokingly asked for outdoor seating, the hostess chuckled--gotta love a place with a good sense of humor! We lucked out with Sarah as our server--she always makes us feel right at home. We have given this restaurant multiple opportunities. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are disappointing. The staff is not very friendly and will ignore you before ever being seated. I mean a simple, "Hi we will be right with you" would be expected but you don't even get that. The food is greasy and just lacking in flavor. The menu is way too broad. Mother's Day Buffet was Awful! We made reservations for five people for the two o clock service. When we arrived, it was so crowded you couldn't even move to the table or the buffet. When we finally got to the buffet, they were out of plates and almost every food. No prime Rib, no meats of any kind available. The food was served in cheap aluminum foil pans. Wings came without any garnish or celery/carrots. Cooked correctly but the mild buffalo really didn't have much flavor. We didn't expect heat as we asked for mild. My ceasar salad was just asst slapped in a bowl. The open roast.beef sandwich looks like it would be bursting with flavor, but the gravy was bland. The bread had the most flavor. Wifey ordered all flats chicken wings but was told this would throw off the count flats versus drums The wings were not the best and the Reuben was greasy. However, the french fries were crisp and hot. 2 Creeks was not accomodating. I ordered the Reuben. The menu is vast from chicken to pasta and beyond. Waiter was friendly. There were few people at 2 Creeks but you would have thought it was a room full. 2 creeks has a little bit of this and a little bit of that. There is a bar area. I perused the drink menu. The biggest problem I have with this restaurant is that they advertise prime rib every Mondays 4-7:00. I was there 5 Mondays in a row as early as 4pm and every time they 'were sold out' with less than 5 people in the restaurant and 4 of them were at the bar. If you are not going to serve what you advertise, don't advertise it. Their food is ok, but I hope you are not in a hurry. read more

I gave 2 Creeks another chance since a friend of mine suggested we meet there for breakfast. We got there when it opened at 8:30 am because I had to be at work a bit later. The woman who unlocked the door and served us was not friendly at all. She took the order from the 2nd couple who came in after us, first, then she took our order. The restaurant always seems to not have enough help. This is the vibe I got, that she was stuck opening and serving and seating people. The food was good and came out in a decent amount of time, not 40 minutes like last time. The coffee was good too. I am sorry to say I will not go back. I felt like I wasn't wanted there at 8:30 am.
