Jareb the owners Son and also Cat the waitress that served me were of the best service I've received in a while and I have upmost respect for their recommendations of platters and also... this is genuinely an Irish feel! I had their traditional fish and chips!!!!!! Portions are amazing!! The ambiance is spectacular!

It was good. Would like to try more options. I purchased a Caesar side salad and the Reuben egg rolls with an angry orchard. Went in n a Sunday during brunch hours and one server hustling tables, she did amazing.

We did a pre St. Patrick's Day visit which still had live music and green beer. Service was excellent. The portions are large. Marbled rye bread on the corned beef reuben is delicious. The steak fries were really delicious. Food was very good. The menus were in need of a good cleaning. It is a nice neighborhood pub.

Dublin pot roast

Stopped by for open mic night but was equally impressed by the food. Very traditional Irish fare. Fish was excellent but the chips were cold. Dublin pot roast was a lot of food. Shepherds pie is also excellent. Our server was terrific and checked on us regularly. Guinness is half price on Wednesday. Very Irish pub motif.

The food was great! Service not so good, our waitress was not around a whole lot and we were the only ones she was serving. Other than that we were pretty satisfied.

Fish & Shrimp Meal with 2 sides

Saturday late lunch. We were seated right away. There were people at the bar and 2 other tables of people seated in the dining area. Appetizer: I ordered us (2 ppl) the egg roll appetizer. Hearty, fresh, and hot. I don't like sauerkraut but this was enjoyable ... I wouldn't want a full sandwich (Reuben) but I would have one of these again. It's served with the traditional Thousand Island dressing. Entree: For my lunch, I ordered the fish (haddock) & shrimp with coleslaw and cabbage. My meal was served without the cabbage, it was still cooking and that is no big deal to me. The breading on both the fish and shrimp were good. The coleslaw is more of a vinegar base but it was ok. I do wish it would have been cold - it was room temp. Unfortunately, the fish was cooked a little too long and was dry, but the seasoning of the fish was on point. When the cabbage came, it was still quite crunchy and bland except for pepper. So why 3 stars? For me, the basics go a long way. We were seated at a table that had not been wiped down. The perfect ring circles from previous glasses, small crumbs, and sticky spots. It wasn't enough to notice before being seated. Whoever cleared the plates clearly forgot. The hostess that seated us nor the waitress noticed. When we realized, no one was around so, we cleaned the table ourselves. The floor was sticky and my flip flops wanted to stick with every step going to and away from the table. The food was good but it wouldn't draw me back for another visit, it wasn't memorable or delectable enough, sadly.

Great neighborhood atmosphere. So so service at the bar and good bar food. Convenient to Palencia residents, it's a great place to eat a Friday night dinner. They serve food until 10pm every night. We will be back!

Corned beef & cabbage

Service is good & Guinness on draft is always good. Now on to the negatives. The country music is a weird option for an Irish pub. Margarita was weak. Horrible, dry corned beef & weird potatoes. (Had to use hot sauce to get through it.). Terrible cabbage. The Reuben egg roll was DRIPPING with grease. Amateurish Shepherd's pie. Thumbs down

Great vibes here. We stopped in late for a bite on the way home. Donovan's hit the spot! At first glance: Typical Irish Pub (I'm showing my age here, but..) reminiscent of Bennigan's but a little more bar energy than restaurant. It was loud, but not crowded at all. On the table: Had to try the Reuben Egg Rolls (I love reubens!), Beer Battered Fish & chips, and a Bloody Mary. Everything was crispy and flavorful! Could improve: There was nothing that really stood out. The food didn't have a WoW factor, and the place could use a little updating The goods: live music. He was great! Played songs we could all song along to. decent service.

He was so excited to go. Cat was our waitress and she gave us great service. I forgot to take photos but we started with their pretzel, which is so good, and then I had the curry rice bowl with no protein (you can add if you want) , my son the fish and chips and my granddaughter the Mac and cheese with fries. We also ordered my daughter in law fish and chips to go. I love their pretzels with mustard and cheese sauce. They are made by a local bakery. The curry dish is really good, but spicy, which I knew but just know. My son agreed the fish and chips was really good. The only disappointment was the kids Mac and cheese is straight up blue box Mac and cheese for $8, plus an up charge for both the chocolate milk and a side of ranch. We will go back but I think I'll get my granddaughter to try another kids dish.

When I gave my order to the server, I specified how I was excited to try it because it was shaved, and he told me it was his favorite, but he could never finish it. When the food came, I was very nervous because not only was the rye bread seeded, and I don't like seeded rye bread typically, the meat was clearly not shaved, but sliced. Once I took a bite, all of those concerns were gone! Not only was it such fresh and delicious bread that I am certain they must make or get fresh from a bakery, the corned beef had to be the most tender I've had in a very long time. There was not one chewy piece throughout the sandwich. Now, those fries...they are now my absolute favorite fries! I can see myself craving those. I didn't even get through half of the sandwich because it was a lot. My husband really enjoyed the smash burger as well. He said his bun was also very fresh and delicious, the burger was great, too! My partner had the Irish smash burger and I the Rueben with the shepherd s pie to go which as of right now I cannot attest too but everything was great. Coming from Yonkers NY and the infamous McLean Ave it was on par! Will absolutely be back service was also great. Cannot rave more!

Only open a week and fully understanding many kinks need to be corrected however the experience was confusing and underwhelming! I met a friend before a concert. Upon entering the space has minimal furniture. Definitely now warm, cozy as you would expect in an Irish Pub. Our server was adorable but just as confused as we were. 2 menus in the table. A very sparse large menu which included Fish and Chips and a postcard size menu with a few shareable bites. The server had no idea what the full menu was presented advising us the kitchen was not yet built out. We ordered some beer and with them came the large menu again. She explained that they were serving the large menu. Moments later a manager came and took the menus away (again). Wew.... Communication between staff was definitively lacking. We ordered Rueben Errol's and a Scotch Egg. They were served in takeout boats with a plastic spork! The apps filled our belly nothing special. I am putting Keane's in timeout for now and hoping in the coming weeks and months the experience will change! 3 stars due to just opening!
