A wonderful little spot to take a break from our afternoon walk at the Fort in St. Augustine. Hubby chose the pub and it was a good one. We entered and it was only 1 other customer. We sat and Dallas greeted us. He was a one man super show. He was the waiter, the cook and the bar tender. Ayden and I split the 2 chili dog basket. John and Desiree ordered the Pastrami sandwiches with sauerkraut and cheese. All the baskets came with kettle chips. The chili for the chili dog had beans and diced peppers. Great addition to the dog. It gave the hot dog a different taste. I ate the whole dog. Ayden is just as picky about his food. He only ate the hotdog meat. Do not let Ann O'Malley's being a pub scare you off when looking for food . The food here is pretty spot on . Sometimes they have live music or Bikers Against Child Abuse . Good selection of draft beers. Get a free beer if you bring a military/First Responder patch. Good place for DADS/Husbands to wait for their wives/daughters as they walk the market place. They were out of Smithwicks Ale such a disappointment. Yuenling draft was a good fill in. Good conversation with other patrons just has the right fit. The service was at a snails pace as the bartender had to also service all the tables. So it took a good 15 minutes to take our order and we let home know we were in a bit of a rush so he said he would be cooking the food as well. His young daughter (about 7 or 8) brought our drinks to the table and was sweet. The accessible ramp is down an alley which seems sketchy and shared by other stores. It is not an apparent wheelchair accessible entrance, the bartender had to show us where it was. I suspect everything in the kitchen is microwaved. They serve sandwiches, soups, and hotdogs. The all beef hotdogs were actually really good though. The Irish pub decor is on point. Overall they need staff. They need a better menu but for microwaved food it was fine for a quick stop. ACCESSIBILTY overall could be vastly improved. As a matter of fact all of St Augustine has terrible ACCESSIBILTY issues. read more

This is 100% my kind of place!!! I knew as soon as I walked up to this place that I was going to be happy af. Me and my gf stopped in late one night a month ago on my birthday eve. There was a band playing and the atmosphere was happily spirited. The bartender was super nice and welcomed us with a smile and served us drinks promptly. We truly enjoyed every minute of our time here. We didn't eat, but the food we saw did look great. I had a couple Smithwick's and my gf had a Bailey's on the rocks. You cannot go wrong with either of those. I truly loved this place for all that it is. The inside is great and the outside area is too. I love seeing people happy, drinking, listening to music, and having a great time. The end cap was the bartender saying come outside I need to talk to you. I was like WTH did I do. Little did I know my gf told him it was my birthday since it was after 12 am now. He hands me an Irish car bomb because my gf told him I loved them and said, Happy Birthday brother! That was very nice of him because my gf tied to pay him for it and he said no this is on me. It made me smile. Thank you again my brother. Service was terrible. Party of 9, ordered drinks and then asked for menus, we were told the food was going to take a REALLY long time, the bartender had no interest in keeping us in this business. He clearly did not want the establishment to make money and did not attempt to hide his poor attitude. We walked out into a thunderstorm rather than stay one more minute in this horrible atmosphere. I am local to St. Augustine and I'm really embarrassed that I brought my 26 year old son and his friends into this place ON HIS BIRTHDAY, where they were treated like 2nd class citizens because they are "Young" and God-forbid, the bartender had to do his job and ID them all. We were basically the only people in the place and there were 3 bartenders working. Very disappointing experience and I will never go back, and would not recommend any one else try this place... total tourist trap!! read more

My mom and I stopped in for lunch and it did not disappoint. We wanted to go in when it wasn't busy and see about their food. We both ordered a corned beef Reuben. It was about $13.50 and was delicious. It was a good size sandwich and served with chips. I would definitely go back and order food again. Came all the way from Miami to find a pub that was available and in the area. I found an available table and was told by the bartender too wait that he will take our order shortly. We noticed the bar was busy so we saw an opening at the bar. We sat at the bar and didn't even get looked at again. After 20 minutes of waiting the guy told us he would take our order after giving someone there drink . A woman literally chased my wife out of the bar for using the bathroom when we had a party of 7 coming because she assumed she wasn't a customer. She told her she was not allowed to ever come back. Her loss, but I would avoid this dirty biker bar with mediocre food, even worse service, and possibly the worst bartender in St. Augustine. Save your money and stay away. read more

A very small Irish bar located in downtown St. Augustine, off the beaten path. Although small the bartenders had huge personalities and were very friendly. We sat at the bar and I started with a perfectly poured Guinness beer. I then went into the chicken Cesar wrap and wife had the turkey BLT. Mineral had good flavors and nice grilled chicken. Wife's Turkey Bacon had some good flavors as well, plus some guacamole. Only downside was the bag of chips instead of a hot side (fries), but surely not a reason to pas this spot by. It was also loaded with police, military and fire patches so you know that they respect and honor those that serve. read more

Small, cramped pub. Very slowwwwww service. We were there 90 minutes for a Reuben and a beer. Our food was served to us and then we were forgotten. No one ever came back. The Reuben is the worst I've ever had and it had no flavor. I saw them preparing someone's order in a microwave maybe that's why my sandwich was so sad. First night there lines were so long for food that we were getting ready to walk back to the hotel when I was drawn iinto Ann O'Malley's. So glad we went in. Scott made the best sandwich I have had in a long time. Everyone was so friendly that I wanted to go back but it seems like the town closed for Christmas and I had to leave the next morning. I first learned about this place from fellow tour guys that said they love to go here and have the Marty sandwich. I decided to bring my husband here because he loves a good Reuben or pastrami sandwich. He absolutely loved it. It was a huge sandwich on rye bread, and even though it has coleslaw on it, which he's not a super fan of it was just enough to add flavor, which he was super happy about I have never had soup here before even though it says you get a cup it's really a bowl. The poblano soup had slight heat to it not the kind of heat that burns your mouth but offers great flavors for your taste buds. My husband got the dark Amber local dog Rose brewery with his meal. He really enjoyed it but at the end, it got a little bit sweet but still he was glad that he chose it.
