A friend took us here while we were visiting Jacksonville, and overall it was a lively spot. The cover band was fun and energetic, with the crowd singing and dancing along. The highlight of the night was seeing Santa blissfully watching the football game and completely unaware of the party happening around him. For the most part, we had a great time. Unfortunately, the only downside was our bartender, Tobin. From the start, he came across as rude and unwelcoming. We waited at the front bar for a while, even though there weren't many people ordering. He clearly saw us but ignored us--no acknowledgment, no "I'll be right with you." When my friend finally ordered drinks, Tobin didn't say hello or smile, just pointed with an expression that made it seem like he didn't want to be there at all. The attitude was disappointing. This place is cool overall. We came to watch the barca futbol match. Unfortunately the wifi for the outside tv was not working well and kept freezing so we could not watch the match on the patio as planned. The happy hour was great ($5 margs) and the server was friendly and attentive. The tacos came out cold, so that was a bummer. The margaritas were also weak. But for the price, you get what you pay for. The British taco was our favorite. I would return for happy hour. read more

The Pub was pretty quiet when I first arrived but it filled up pretty quickly for trivia night. Had a Whatamelon drink which was flavorful and the taste reminded me of Lick A Color popsicle from the 2000s! Erin's eggrolls were just a tad overcooked but the flavor made up for it! How does Lynch's only have 3 and a half stars?I'm so shocked. They deserve more than that. Over the years, every time I visit I've had phenomenal service, my drinks are strong, live music is always abundant, and the prices are always fair. Now I can't speak on behalf of the food. I actually don't recall trying Lynch's food ever, even when I worked there over 10 years ago. It just was not a thought to me I guess to go to a live music bar and try to order food in a bustling loud pub. I'm there to mingle with friends, have a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. This is a reminder to myself to order food next time I visit. Lynch's is a staple in Jax Beach. We all see what's happening with five points in north Jax - long time businesses shutting down or getting pushed out of the neighborhood, and new commercial developments moving in. With all of the new construction (hotels, apts, etc) in Jax beach, I'd hate to see the same thing possibly happen in the future to great local businesses such as this. Lukumades moved in next door to Lynch's and I honestly think this is a great spot for them. A Greek donut and ice cream spot open late right next to an Irish pub?! Yo sign me up! I'll take both please. Let me get some drinks and enjoy some live music at Lynch's then on the way home, grab some mini Greek donuts to go. Sounds good to me. Those two should team up in some way. I think it would benefit both parties. Could Lynch's use a mini face lift and adapt some new practices to help bring them up to date in 2024 to compete with competition? Yes. It's hard out there for small businesses right now, (it has been since Covid) - without change, it's hard to continue to rise. But give em a bone. They have remodeled, expanded, and added new ideas over the years; they have put in work. Lynch's = Locals. It's a die hard spot I want to see stay here for many years to come. Well the inside is just as you would expect from an Irish pub that had great atmosphere, the locals gather here for soccer and football. The food was ok and I had to ask for my bangers because they left them off. The waitress had to ask another waitress if they were part of the breakfast. Then they checked the menu and seen it was on there. My wife got the patty melt which was supposed to be marble rye but it was a different kind of rye bread that threw off the taste. read more

This is a beach dive bar masquerading as an Irish pub. The scent of a cologne type of deodorizer wafts through the air mixing with the sound of "F-Bombs" to create the atmosphere. Service is fast and really nice so that is a one star bump up. The fish and chips arrive looking like they will be tasty. However, the fish is cooked ok but no amount of salt and vinegar can amp up the flavor. The chips on the other hand do have flavor, the unmistakable flavor of sitting in an open box in the freezer for a long time. If you are looking for a dive bar on the beach then 5 stars I guess but don't come for the food or the flat beer. read more

We stopped in here as it was a quick walk from our hotel. Lynch's interior is like a traditional dark pub which seems like a bit of an oddity just off the sun and sand of the beach, but they make it work well. While it wasn't that crowded for an early lunch, we found it to be a great place for a meal. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great about assisting us while mingling with the regulars. I went with the Ruben. I initially asked to swap out the pastrami for turkey (my usual approach) and they didn't have turkey. It was my fortune to have this force me to go the pastrami as it was delicious. The meat was tender, flavorful, and wasn't overly fatty. The portion size was very generous for me and I had enough to share with my husband. My husband went with the Patty Melt. He also found his sandwich to be perfectly prepared and a great portion to satisfy him. We've put this on our list of places we plan to visit again when we're in the Jacksonville Beach area. read more

Had an awful experience at Lynch's Irish Pub and this is particularly about a bartender who threw all of her etiquette out of the window to scream at my friends about a simple misunderstanding that could've been easily solved. This situation didn't even directly involve us but the patron next to us whose item was placed on their tab as a mistake. When they alerted the bartender, she insisted that it wasn't a mistake and that they were at fault when they weren't. When trying to explain the situation the bartender continued to get loud and over talk everyone. Her attitude truly was disgusting and uncalled for. She has brown hair and glasses and really left a sour taste in our mouth. A really unfortunate experience that truly felt discriminating. read more

Also have a bunch of people I know- including myself- that got turned off from ever going to lynch's simply because of the staff. so good job lynch's. Why do we have grown men screaming and cursing in girls faces? do you understand how that effects some people? does it make you feel big and cool???? everyone comes from a different background and story, fix and train your staff. Screaming and cursing the way your "bouncers" do can seriously hurt or cause a very negative response from your PAYING PATRONS. Especially if that person (or even bystanders) has a history or trauma with men yelling like that. the amount of times i've been in this bar and have witnessed women being absolutely berated is insane. they immediately assume every person they come in contact with is incredibly drunk and an issue. My friends and I hadn't even had any drinks last night- yet we're being talked to incredibly inappropriately! this was our first stop- and very last at this bar. You want your bar to be a good time? maybe start with the staff and at the door. I don't understand how even after all of these bad reviews you guys haven't made any changes. Awful. Came for lunch. Waited 1.5 hours for lunch. All we ordered was some soup & sandwiches. We asked the bartender/waitress/bus girl why was it taking so long. Not her fault, she was doing literally everything except cooking. We were about to walk out when I politely asked her should we leave because we came for lunch and have a plan to c at Christmas, didn't expect 3 hrs for lunch. She said it was literally coming out then..and another 10 minutes went by. Clearly the food was sitting there a bit. My soup was warm, not hot. And not even filled the cup. Mussels were delicious in cream sauce but the bread with melted cheese clearly was sitting a long time before I saw it. 3 sandwiches. One person in our party who ordered same sandwich waiting led another 10 minutes. Sometimes it's a bad day. This was unacceptable. Manager came over when we finished and was shocked the food took so long. She thought we were exaggerating and asked the waitress. She took $10 off. And for that courtesy I give one star. Won't be back. It's a beautiful bar area, and people who were at bar and tables having beers and cocktails were promptly served. read more

We had a wonderful lunch here! Never have I ordered fish and chips and been served with a slab of fried fish. It was sooooooo good!!! My friend ordered some fries that had gravy on them and I thought they were gross but she loved then!! Later that evening we were doing the bar crawl and stopped in and had the spinach dip and some drinks. We couldn't get over how cheap their food and drinks were. We were there when the live music started and we're basically rudely told we couldn't sit in our bar stools anymore (even though we were still eating) so that was the only negative. read more

My friends and I attempted to go there on July 15, 2023. My friends who were visiting from the Philippines only had their Philippine ID cards (with photos and birthdates), but they were told by one security guard that they needed their passports to enter due to their liquor license. Another so called security guy came over and pulled us to the side, DID NOT LOOK at the ID's and just stated that the ID was not my female friends and told us to leave. All my friends were over 30 years old, and the buffoon did not even look at the ID. Can you say "DISCRIMINATION"? I knew you could. Based upon the actions of one person, it shows that the establishment does not want Asians in their bar. They lost five customers who went elsewhere and spent over $100 on just two drinks each and would have spent more in your establishment. I was also a tourist from another state, and will never go to this place, nor recommend a place that discriminates against anyone including Asians! A great neighborhood bar. Not the place to go if you want fancy trendy drinks, but If you are looking for a good selection of Irish whiskey and spirits, this is your place. Not so much for wine. There's a wine bar up the street for that. The food is ok. Definitely bar fare.The Rueben egg rolls are really good. I want the the potato soup to be better than it is. I've ordered it twice and it is just ok. The fish wrap and side salad are better choices. Thursday night trivia at Lynch's is fun, but be aware that it gets rather loud. Lynch's is now open for brunch... or maybe they've always had brunch? Either way, we went, we ate/drank, and we'll probably only return for the $10 bottle of bubbles. Yep, that's right $10 for a bottle. Can't beat that price. You also get to choose from orange, pineapple and cranberry juice on the side. I only need a pipette of juice for the bottle, so I 100% appreciate being in control of my own champagne to juice ratio. For food we ordered the chicken and waffles and were not too impressed. I love me a good Belgian waffle but this was a little underwhelming and actually a bit soft. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it was made with buttermilk which can be tricky to get crispy. The Tabasco syrup had a nice kick to it but there was another flavor in that syrup which was not to our liking. I ended up just getting a side of Tabasco and used that instead of the syrup. The potatoes were my favorite thing on the plate and they were delish. Service was great. Potato hash was great. Mimosas were great. I'll need to give the food another try when we return for more of their amazing drink specials. Cheers! read more

I didn't order any food but all of the staff took care of my drink orders, gave me saltine crackers (upon request) and consistently checked on me while I was there. This is a cool place in the Jacksonville Beach area that I recommend! I took my husband and father here to have some drinks over the weekend and we had a blast.
