How does Lynch's only have 3 and a half stars?I'm so shocked. They deserve more than that. Over the years, every time I visit I've had phenomenal service, my drinks are strong, live music is always abundant, and the prices are always fair. Now I can't speak on behalf of the food. I actually don't recall trying Lynch's food ever, even when I worked there over 10 years ago. It just was not a thought to me I guess to go to a live music bar and try to order food in a bustling loud pub. I'm there to mingle with friends, have a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. This is a reminder to myself to order food next time I visit. Lynch's is a staple in Jax Beach. We all see what's happening with five points in north Jax - long time businesses shutting down or getting pushed out of the neighborhood, and new commercial developments moving in. With all of the new construction (hotels, apts, etc) in Jax beach, I'd hate to see the same thing possibly happen in the future to great local businesses such as this. Lukumades moved in next door to Lynch's and I honestly think this is a great spot for them. A Greek donut and ice cream spot open late right next to an Irish pub?! Yo sign me up! I'll take both please. Let me get some drinks and enjoy some live music at Lynch's then on the way home, grab some mini Greek donuts to go. Sounds good to me. Those two should team up in some way. I think it would benefit both parties. Could Lynch's use a mini face lift and adapt some new practices to help bring them up to date in 2024 to compete with competition? Yes. It's hard out there for small businesses right now, (it has been since Covid) - without change, it's hard to continue to rise. But give em a bone. They have remodeled, expanded, and added new ideas over the years; they have put in work. Lynch's = Locals. It's a die hard spot I want to see stay here for many years to come. If you have never visited, check their socials for upcoming entertainment you might be interested in, and give them a try.

Well the inside is just as you would expect from an Irish pub that had great atmosphere, the locals gather here for soccer and football. The food was ok and I had to ask for my bangers because they left them off. The waitress had to ask another waitress if they were part of the breakfast. Then they checked the menu and seen it was on there. My wife got the patty melt which was supposed to be marble rye but it was a different kind of rye bread that threw off the taste.

OUR FAVORITE IRISH PUB !!!! love the fish and chips !!!!!!!!so freakin good. so crispy so perfect. our server brought out all the fixins. doused our stuff in the vinegar yum. big fan of the tartar sauce. everything is perfection here. our server was really nice also ! he did awesome. we came on taco tuesday. $3 fun tacos and $5 milagro cocktails. what a fun time! not too busy at this time of day but plenty of regulars filled the bar. we sat and enjoyed our meal at a high top next to it :3 food was great ! drinks were strong ! we enjoyed a tequila sunset and jalapeño spicy margs. great vibes i love eating here.

We stopped in here as it was a quick walk from our hotel. Lynch's interior is like a traditional dark pub which seems like a bit of an oddity just off the sun and sand of the beach, but they make it work well. While it wasn't that crowded for an early lunch, we found it to be a great place for a meal. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great about assisting us while mingling with the regulars. I went with the Ruben. I initially asked to swap out the pastrami for turkey (my usual approach) and they didn't have turkey. It was my fortune to have this force me to go the pastrami as it was delicious. The meat was tender, flavorful, and wasn't overly fatty. The portion size was very generous for me and I had enough to share with my husband. My husband went with the Patty Melt. He also found his sandwich to be perfectly prepared and a great portion to satisfy him. We've put this on our list of places we plan to visit again when we're in the Jacksonville Beach area.

My margarita with bartender in background. I didn't get a pic of hubby with his beer but he was happy with the on tap options.

What a fun bar steps from the beach! Different drink specials, trivia, music different nights something always going on! Our bartender took excellent care of us! Great place to hang out, enjoy a cocktail or a beer!

We were seated inside right away & our server was super sweet and helpful to help us decide what to order. We ordered coffee and orange juice which came out right away. Orange juice was really good although pretty pricy ($6 or small and $9 for large). Also ordered vegan spud stacker which was delicious! They had a pretty big menu that accommodated different dietary restrictions. The portion side was big (I took the rest home so it was really 2 meals) and everything tasted great. Will definitely come back again to try other items in the menu!

First things first: get the fresh squeezed orange juice. It is absolutely incredible and worth the visit alone. The menu is fantastic and they have everything you could want for breakfast. If you're in the mood for comfort food, the biscuits and gravy are phenomenal, some of the best I've had. But they also nail all the classics , French toast, bacon, eggs, you name it. I do have to be honest as a coffee lover, the coffee was a letdown for me. Neither the hot brewed nor the cold brew impressed, so if you're picky about your coffee you may want to manage expectations there. Stick to that fresh OJ though and you won't be sad about it! One major bonus, the restaurant is really big with a lot of seating, and we went on weekdays without ever waiting for a table. In a breakfast spot, that's a big deal. Overall a really solid, reliable breakfast spot. We'll be back next time we're in Jacksonville.

Should have been plenty of time as the restaurant was not busy on a Wednesday at 5:30 PM. (Feb 25, 2026) We sat at the bar thinking that would be the fastest service especially with three bartenders working and hardly any customers. However, it took 10 minutes for one of them to look up from all the "very important tasks" they were doing and acknowledge us. When the bartender with the backwards cap and Jaguars shirt finally took our beer order and gave us menus, we made it known we had a concert to go to. He served our beers and said "no problem." We ordered immediately when we got our beers. It was "Wing it Wednesday" so we ordered the special. Five wings and fries. Should have been no problem to get our food in a timely manner. We had 45minutes left to eat. Then we waited some more, and waited and waited. Three bartenders and not even a glance our way. Why? Because they were all too busy chatting with this gal and her "date" especially our server. We might as well have been invisible. We finally got the attention of one of the other bartenders as our server had disappeared. (We were now down to 20 minute eat.) He acted confused as to why we were calling him over. I'm guessing it wasn't his "section" . I also am guessing we were the rude ones for interrupting his conversation with the young woman and her date. He checked on our food after we said we got to eat now! He thought that meant we wanted our food to go. Not sure why. We finally got our food with 10 minutes left to wolf down our meal and pay the bill. The wings and fries were good which is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. But it's wings and fries. Can get that anywhere. Suffice to say is we will Not be eating at Hoptinger's again. A customer should be treated like a guest and not an inconvenience that cuts into staff's social time. And never make us feel like you're doing us a favor when we patronize your place of work. That's a sure way to a bad review and a loss of a customer.
