I always enjoy visiting Green Room, and honestly time always flies by when I am there. 1 drink turns into 4, I always run into someone I know, and the plethora of dogs hanging out is always a blast. It's true beach bar #nojudgementzone kinda vibe. Whether solo, on a date, grabbing a drink pre date, or hanging with a ton of friends green room is a perfect watering hole. Always a nice array of beers which the staff is knowledgeable about, and usually theres a food truck there too. My brewery pet peeves are glasses that arent clean, glasses that smell like a dishwasher, and beer that isn't chilled to the right temperature. Luckily Green Room knows what they are doing and their glassware & beer is always on point & oh so refreshing. After writing this review I think I'll head back there this weekend :-)

This would be my local hangout if I was a local. Great craft beer brewed on-site plus guest beers. Amazing beer garden. Food truck with rad menu (candied bacon...come on). Games. Did I mention tasty beer? LOCATION AND GAMES: Very close to beach. You just need to cross a busy street. Grab a pint to cool off and play some arcade games, fuse all, ping pong, monster connect four or darts. BEER: Impressed by their beer selection. As a microbrewery, their selection rotates. They also host guest beers so the selection was LARGE. On our visit, the Honey Blonde was my favorite. The Reggae Sour was also fantastic (for those who like sour beers like me). BEER GARDEN: They have a great beer garden out front where you can sit outside when not too hot. It's fake turf, nothing classy but great hangout with patio lounge furniture and bar height seating. A good trailer serves up some yummy treats...including candied bacon. I was so tempted but we were headed out for dinner afterwards.

Sweet little brewery within walking distance of our hotel. There was only one lady working, but she was holding it down like a champ. We were surprised to see that we stumbled upon a trivia night going down and wish we had known to show up sooner to participate because we were unofficially doing extremely well. They had an Empire Strikes Back and Led Zepplin pinball machine, the biggest giant Connect Four we've ever seen out of all the giant ones we've seen, 2 dart boards, a shelf of quite a few board games and a ping pong table where some retired looking gentleman named Rooster was showing thr young pups how it's done. As it's my favorite kind of beer, I tried their sour, which unfortunately was a rotating flavor. It was good, but I don't like when a place has a rotating sour instead of making it permanent. My wife got the Boom Shaka Lager off the strength of the name, she said it was alright. We only had 1 each and then had to rush off to get dinner. All in all, it was definitely a spot we would hang out at if we lived in Jacksonville.

This was one of the first Jacksonville breweries we tried when first moving to Jax- and it took a long time for us to return. John is the beer guy and I am usually the DD on those occasions because I have no taste for beer. BUT~ I do enjoy cider and I was in luck the last time we were in- they had a cider on tap and I was able to try a sample before buying. Another oddity- I can't seem to drink a pint of cider. Like ever. I can only do short pours. But they were very accommodating and of course- John thoroughly enjoyed his flight. Besides the obvious beer selection- they are very dog friendly, family friendly and just a casual place to hang out. They even have a food truck built in with a deck right out from. Plenty of games to play- oversized games, pool table and more. Beach vibe in spades here.

Flight: Diamond, Wheat Tang, Count, and Pablo. Even though the Diamond tasted like rice. It was one of my favorites as well as Pablo Beach.

After ocean-view dining at Southern Kitchen and unexpectedly crashing a wedding reception at the Casa Marina, we found ourselves "boarding" flights at the Green Room Brewing. This bar reminds me of Sidecar (minus) V-Pizza, hence the BYOF (bring your own food) environment. However, they only serve beer, tap, and wine. During our visit, we sampled the (blonde) Diamond, (pale ale) Pablo Beach, (wheat) Tang Clan, and the (stout) Count Shakula. In addition to the amazing tunes from a one-man band (artist unknown;) amazing conversations with patrons; and playing adult-size games such as Jenga, connect four, and ping-pong.... This is what I call pre-hurricane partying. The staff was awesome, knowledgeable of brews served, and the bar appeared clean. They are also dog friendly as long as if your dog is friendly and on a leash.

A great local brewery offering a wide selection of beers, sours and cider. And if you don't like beer you can water, soda, wine! My husband and I each got a flight of beer. It was $7 for 4 samples of beer, which is a great selection of you want to sample the beer!

    Beer exploded at room temp.

While I wouldn't call this a go-to "work from a coffee shop all day" sort of spot. After asking around I found out this place has two floors the top floor has a space for daily office rentals. I am here on a Saturday and had no problem finding a place to work from on the first floor.  I asked Katie who was walking by and was super helpful about why it is called Ink Factory Brewing. This place used to be where Void Magazine was written and published hence "Ink Factory".  I was pleasantly surprised. The space is large enough that I found a quiet corner and even managed to snag a power outlet. The staff didn't seem bothered at all by me settling in with my laptop. That said, Ink Factory feels more like a place to hang out try the coffee, grab some food, maybe have a beer rather than a dedicated work spot. The space immediately gives off a relaxed beach vibe white walls, local artwork, surfboards, and beach apparel everywhere. It feels equal parts coffee shop, hangout spot, and beach town brewery. My coffee was spot on. Emily was awesome and helped me build a custom drink: an iced coffee with a shot of espresso, mocha syrup, topped with cold foam. Not only did it taste great, but she made it look so good that people sitting at the bar asked what I ordered. This kind of care and presentation really stood out.  If they're really busy, finding an outlet could be tough. Parking is also a bit limited for such a large space, but that's pretty typical for the beach area. Not the place I'd camp out every weekday, but definitely somewhere I'd come back to.

I mean really awesome!! I'll definitely come back another day to try some coffee and matcha. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was transported to vacation beach spot in Key West. They have a couple rooms off to the right as you walk in. In one room they sale clothing a freaking vinyl records. In the room right next that one they have more seating and a couple of games and seating area. The vibe was super fresh and super surfy. I walked in and as I was looking at the coffee bar the bartender eventually came over to tell that the coffee bar was closed. He did offer me some Cold Brew! I'll definitely BE BACK.

Since it was a Tuesday morning, it was pretty quiet in the area and we had a private class with Chris. Chris was very thorough, starting with candle and fire safety. I say secret because the connecting door is hidden as one of the shelves. He let us take our time in the room that is actually an adjoining room to his shop that has its own entrance/exit door. Should have been plenty of time as the restaurant was not busy on a Wednesday at 5:30 PM. (Feb 25, 2026) We sat at the bar thinking that would be the fastest service especially with three bartenders working and hardly any customers. However, it took 10 minutes for one of them to look up from all the "very important tasks" they were doing and acknowledge us. When the bartender with the backwards cap and Jaguars shirt finally took our beer order and gave us menus, we made it known we had a concert to go to. He served our beers and said "no problem." We ordered immediately when we got our beers. It was "Wing it Wednesday" so we ordered the special. Five wings and fries. Should have been no problem to get our food in a timely manner. We had 45minutes left to eat. Then we waited some more, and waited and waited. Three bartenders and not even a glance our way. Why? Because they were all too busy chatting with this gal and her "date" especially our server. We might as well have been invisible. We finally got the attention of one of the other bartenders as our server had disappeared. (We were now down to 20 minute eat.) He acted confused as to why we were calling him over. I'm guessing it wasn't his "section" . I also am guessing we were the rude ones for interrupting his conversation with the young woman and her date. He checked on our food after we said we got to eat now! He thought that meant we wanted our food to go. Not sure why. We finally got our food with 10 minutes left to wolf down our meal and pay the bill. The wings and fries were good which is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. But it's wings and fries. Can get that anywhere. Suffice to say is we will Not be eating at Hoptinger's again. A customer should be treated like a guest and not an inconvenience that cuts into staff's social time. And never make us feel like you're doing us a favor when we patronize your place of work. That's a sure way to a bad review and a loss of a customer.
