I love it here! I sat inside at the bar this time and it was very relaxing. You can try any beers you like in a little stamp of glass but I Tried a beer flight and it was really fun. I also had a recess! :).Great gluten free option! The service was great and the french fries were spectacular! Make sure to take a little walk outside and towards the back is a little walkway you can get to the river.

I am BEYOND disappointed in the lack of cleanliness today. LIVE roaches we're crawling around the brewery and there was one dead as you will see from the pictures. That I have to say ruined the entire experience. And there was a gentleman who is back there who had to have seen the three roaches but did nothing. I hope the health department reads this and makes a visit. If this is what the brewery looks like, I'm scared to see their kitchen. It'll be a long time before I ever go back.

Service was great and friendly, food was delivered fast, large portions, not too crowded, everything tasted great, lunch time wasn't too loud.

We got seated right away. The menu is the QR code. The waitress was nice, she came and took our order. I got the brown ale beer, this was my only option, and not really the kind of beer I prefer. We got the corn dip with chips. And the hummus wrap. I didn't care for either one of these. The wrap was ok, but I couldn't even taste the hummus. I really wanted to like this place. I should have looked at the beer menu before I went there. I thought it would be good, because I saw the flights on the yelp page, and I got excited. They had music playing in the background. I was a little chilly, at the table we were sat at. So maybe if your cold nature, bring a light sweater. But it's always best to check it out for yourself. I'm a (BBD) bougie beer drinker.

My second visit here. I stopped by when in town last time and couldn't wait to come back. Scale: 1-5 Beer: 5 - The Promised One Hazy NEIPA is delicious and the reason for my return. Had a flight and the other beers are solid. Lots of different styles and options for those that are not Hazy IPA addicts. 28 taps! Atmosphere: 5 - I bellied up to the bar and was comfortable, lots of people and lively place. Outdoor seating if you want to get away from crowds. Service: 5 - I had the same bartender as last time. He was busy but had time to give suggestions. Food: Pork belly sandwich and cheese curds were awesome. Cultural/Political Agenda (1-5): 5 -Everyone is welcome. No preachy nonsense--just beer, as it should be.

I'm incredibly disappointed after my most recent visit here, especially after so many good experiences. I stopped in with a friend because I was craving some pretzels and beer cheese for several days and I was really excited to have some here. When I placed the order, the waitress (Kiara R.) told me that she would have to check to see if they had any left. I was going to be sad if they didn't have any because I had been craving pretzels and beer cheese, but I understood that those things are out of her control and I could have checked before I got there. I asked her to let me know if there were or weren't any in stock because it would change my plans on what I would order overall. She came back in about five minutes and said that they were "making some now and it would take about 10-15 minutes." I thought, "perfect I'm excited for my pretzels." We placed the rest of our order and eventually about 15 or 20 minutes later, my friend's dinner and the rest of our food orders comes out. A while later, I see Kiara passing by and ask her if there's an update on the pretzels. She said she would have to go check with the manager, which I thought was a little strange, but I didn't think too much about it. She came back shortly after and said that "it would be about another 10 to 15 minutes. I know I said that last time, but it should actually be about another 10." I told her that's fine because I'd already waited so long for these pretzels and it was going to be my dinner. About another 15 minutes pass and she comes back and says "so I just put the order of pretzels in and they should start to cook it soon, but if you don't want it anymore that's fine." I don't think I was really all that frustrated until she came and said this. I've been waiting for an hour at that point since we placed our initial order and all I'd wanted was some pretzels and beer cheese. I told Kiara that I'd like to keep the order since I'd waited for so long for them at that point and her response was, "it's totally up to you if you don't want it. I don't want to pressure you." I don't even know how to interpret this interaction. I'm not sure if she had made a mistake in saying that there were pretzels available to be ordered multiple times, if she was lying, or if she just didn't want me to get the pretzels? I don't know. There was no effort made to apologize for any delay or confusion and after I said that it would be fine if I just did not get the pretzels if that is what the case was, she said she would go get our checks. Overall, it was a super unpleasant and upsetting experience. My friends and I will not be back anytime soon. I'm also going to mention that this was around 5pm, and it was not near as busy as I've seen it before here and every other time that I've been here everyone was nice, kind, and hardworking. Kiara R. left a really bad impression overall with her attitude and dismissiveness and it was one of those experiences that leaves a bad enough taste in your mouth to not want to come back.

We've been to Wicked Barley several times and always have a great experience. It's our go-to spot to celebrate Christmas Eve with friends. On our recent visit, my husband ordered the BELT Croissant sandwich. It consists of bacon, eggs, lettuce and tomato. We both enjoyed it, and yes, we always share! :) As for me, I got the Shrimp & Grits, it was tasty, but the portion is on the smaller side, good thing my husband had fries or I would've been hungry still lol. For drinks, I really liked the "I HOPE THEY SERVE THIS IN HELL" Imperial IPA, one of the best tasting IPA's I have tried! Hubby always order the cider and Happy Medium did not disappoint! With amazing craft beers, good food, fast service, fantastic views and kid friendly, what more could you ask for?!

Love this place! The beer is always great and the patio is such a vibe. The Blood Orange IPA was super refreshing and the Street Corn Dip was delicious and filling. Definitely coming back!

We ended up making a last minute change of plans due to being rained out from our initial venue. Wicked Barley was having their fall festival so we went to check it out and to grab a bite to eat. They had a number of vendors and pumpkins for purchase and decorating, which was a hit with the kids. The wait for a table was long but people sampled some of their beers and cocktails as we waited. They had seating both outside under tents and in their usual dining room. Once seated, we ordered burgers, wings, pretzel, pork rinds, and a kids hot dog. The food was good. The pork rinds were a bit spicy for me but they were nicely fried and crunchy. The burgers were well cooked and the kids hot dog, albeit plain, was a hit. I would return to Wicked Barley for more of their events and for simple, bar bites.

I have heard about this brewery for awhile but living in St. Augustine made it a little more difficult to stop by. But we stopped by while in Jax the other night. It is a full service brewery which is different than what most people would expect when they stop by a brewery. I loved that they also made seltzers not being a craft beer person. I got their cranberry seltzer which was delicious. The only downside is that their beers are around $7 and their seltzers are $12. I wanted to try another one, but didn't want to spend another $12 on a drink. My husband got two beers. His favorite was Left Leg. He got the F**** A which he said tasted a little too much like water for his liking. He gets more particular about beer than I do. It was just probably too light for him. The food was delicious! I got the Wake and Bake burger. It was cooked perfectly and was packed with flavor. My husband got the hot chicken sandwich and collard greens. He is particular about his greens but said these were very good and the chicken had a good heat on it. We both left full. I brought home a red ale for my mom and my husband brought home a heifeweisen. They haven't drank it yet, but it was nice to be able to bring some home. We would definitely be back for one of their events. It's a nice, clean place. The only downside side is all of that cost us around $100, so it's a little pricey.

Why I'll go back: Creative toppings make the burgers on the menu an enjoyable change from the typical burger joint You HAVE to order: a pint Tony's Tip: they have three different types of aioli that you can ask for with your fries. Do them all! Brother-in-law took me to this spot yesterday, as we were visiting my wife's fam in Jacksonville. It's a burger-forward brewery with a lively atmosphere that welcomes kids, though it's really an adult hangout. Bright place with a nice back patio and about ten seats at the bar, which is deep and comfortable to eat at if you can get a seat. We couldn't, but the table was comfortable and spacious. TVs all the way around as well. Great assortment of burger combinations, which are also infinitely customizable from there, plus a wide range of hearty appetizers and salads. Plus, at least a couple dozen beers on tap. Service was super friendly too. They seem to understand the formula. Starting with brews, I had Bob's Wit to start - a wheat beer with a slightly sweet undertone. Very smooth, no bitterness. Followed that up with the Geoffrey, which was a double stout combo of coffee and chocolate. Absolutely delicious and paired well with my burger. Drinker beware - it has an 8.3% ABV. Had a nice buzz just from these two by the time we left. As for the food, the burgers are 8 oz. with your choice of sides, so we skipped starters, but they looked tasty and interesting (kimchi pork belly fries, lager cheese curds, fried pickles, pork rinds, etc.). Hard to choose amongst an interesting mix of burgers (Curd burger, Wake N' Bake with sundried tomato, bacon, and sunny side egg, Fillmore smash burger). I went with The Randy, which was a classic with American cheese, pickles, onions, but then smothered with a decadent beer cheese that evolves the entire taste of the burger. After one attempt at the two-handed approach, this was one of the rare times I chose to eat it with a fork and knife - but it still held together well. Also, kudos to Wicked for offering brioche and pretzel buns, which I'd argue are the two best options for a burger. I'd be remiss if I didn't give a nod to the fries, which were crispy on the outside, but still tender inside. Plus, you can request sides for dipping of three aioli sauces: lemon, garlic, and chipotle. They're all fantastic, so request the trio of them. We got out of there for about $80 including tip. In my typical 'hoods of Boston or Palm Beach, this would have easily run over $100. So, no complaints there either. I would totally go back to this place (this week???). Check it out next time you're in the area. And Merry Christmas fellow Yelpers!

Reggae Sunday, tasty beers, and bar foods. Service can be spotty as it gets pretty busy, but everyone seems pretty chill. Good time catching up with friends and listening to live music, it's a great place for just about everyone. Goodby creek runs along side of the brewery, there's a nice dock where you can pull up in your boat too.

That level of responsiveness says a lot about their commitment to customer satisfaction. My wife and I started sharing a wedge salad and French onion soup -- both perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Around the table, the entrées included the Blackened Chicken Pasta, Peach Bourbon Pork Chop, Chicken Pot Pie, and the B.L.A.S.T. Stack (smoked salmon, bacon, avocado, and tomato). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their selections. Our server, Angela, was outstanding -- attentive without hovering and always there exactly when we needed her. The bar was pretty full when we arrived, so we took a seat on the couch for a second, before we decided to start browsing the beers in the frig and on the wall! Such an interesting place. I chose a beer to take home. Tyler the bartender introduced himself to me and we chatted a bit, and he took my order. Such a nice guy! The 1st time I ordered a Quad and the Gringo nachos. I order a Quad, and it was on special for $4.99 a pint! Scored on that one! Also ordered the grilled cheese and sweet potato fries (I met to order the zucchini sticks) Next time! The Quad was great! I don't know why that grilled cheese was so freaking good! (it's just grilled cheese, right?) lol the sweet potato fries were also good but let me tell you about that made from scratch ranch dressing! Hidden valley ain't got nothing on this Ranch Dressing! It took those sweet potatoes fries to the next level They do run out of items, so make sure you have a 2nd option in mind! They also make from scratch, pretzels and perogies. If your Vegetarian they have: The grilled cheese, Gringo Nachos and Potato Perogies Tyler also said you can bring in food from other establishments.
