Great service nice spot plenty of beer try the salmon sliders nice bar an brewery sports themed lots of tvs

Our first visit to Strings - thankfully, got lucky with a street parking spot out front 5 stars for the food but had quite a few misses on experience... I loooooved my 1/2 Cathy's salad and $6 pork sandwich (Monday to Friday 4-9PM dine in or to go) You could smell the wood fire walking in, the bun was toasted perfectly and the pickles/pickled onions were awesome!! My husband got the same sandwich with their special side of the day which was loaded mashed potatoes. Now here's where all of the misses start: 1) our friends who ordered immediately after us, got their food after waiting over 15 more minutes past when ours was delivered - they had to check on it 2-3 times 2) my husbands mashed potatoes came out and it they were plain, not loaded - when he asked about it they said they and switched to plain?? I'm assuming they ran out of the toppings (5:30PM). He should have been given the option of a different side instead of being forced one he wasn't interested in or told they were out when ordering 3) we also ordered boiled peanuts with our sandwiches which never came out at ALL. After eating, I went to the register to get a refund and she tried to offer them "to go" - when we had actually ordered them hoping we could eat them as the appetizer they are before our food came out. I let her know we were going to an event and she called someone to the register to refund them which was easy enough - but we had been looking forward to trying them & had been starving before our meal which is why we ordered one of their appetizers. Overall, environment is fun, food is really great and reasonably priced - I'd love to watch a game here or sit on their patio in the fall - but I'm hoping next time improves as we had some frustrating experiences.

I went for an afternoon beer, and the vibe was great. Sitting outside made it the perfect way to enjoy a relaxed Saturday afternoon. Would definitely visit again.

We dined in on a Saturday and enjoyed beers with dinner. I ordered the crispy brussel sprouts which were piping hot and super tasty and the Cathy's salad which was a generous portion with lots of toppings and plenty of dressing. Another party member got a brisket sandwich (not pictured) which they enjoyed. We enjoyed beers with dinner and the ambiance of a casual, all are welcome vibe with kids and dogs included.

Wings with Alabama white sauce

Had a great time with friends to grab a bite and some drinks. The wings were the star- the Alabama white sauce was so good and the wings were crispy and satisfying. Loved the outdoor patio area, very family friendly and good for big groups with picnic tables. This would be a great spot for a group gathering/party or to watch games.

Stopped in for a quick drink had the Intangibly Rich coffee porter and it was fantastic. The staff were very knowledgeable and personable. This would be a great place to watch the Jags play. Nice and spacious with plenty of tvs.

Strings Sports Brewery is a great microbrewery in Springfield neighborhood. They've renovated an old car garage building into a venue that can hold plenty of people! They have a great selection of beers and also provide food, mainly smoked bbq. I had their smoked chicken wings and I highly recommend the dry rub. The wings had a good fry and meat was moist on the inside! Definitely a great place to meet up with friends, bring your family, or have special events!

We come here often because it's easy with kids. Love the sports brewery concept...we actually live much closer to the beach location but downtown is great with the outside area with kids. The beach location has a kids area but wish it was bigger. Would be better if the entire one side was kids and the other outside patio was normal seating. Atmosphere is good, food is good. Wish there were more healthy options but the brussels are yummy. Wings and brisket are good. Kids love the Mac n cheese and pretzel with cheese.

Trail Run on left & Sugar King brew on the right

First time at Strings Sports & Brewery as my wife & I are down for the Florida/Georgia game. When you enter there is a side you can order and get food delivered to your table & another side you can order beer & wine. Both sides have people that are friendly and wanting to make your stay a pleasurable experience. From the beer side I had a pint of String Music & Trail Run. Both were clean & fresh with no bitterness. My wife had a Sugar Kings brew and was also a good beer. Food wise we shared 10 smoked wings, Brussels Sprouts & Cajun Fries. The wings were excellent with the Alabama sauce & Hot BBQ sauce. Place has a nice vibe. The area is being gentrified and is turning the corner. Check it out if you're from out of town & if you're a local looks to be a great spot to catch a Jags game!

Smoked wings

Good beer, food and service. Enjoyed the smoked wings & the pretzel & beer cheese. My favorite was the smoked jalapeño hush puppies which was a special that day. I was also surprised at how spacious it was inside and I'm sure the outdoor area would be nice in the cooler months. Glad we lucked out with parking along the street close to the entrance.

Delicous food and amazing beer selection! Great service- our beer server was very sweet and informative. Our food came out in lightning speed. We came during the weekday on Wednesday and service wasn't too packed. We ate all our food and didn't leave a crumb behind. My husband ordered a triple crown beer and I ordered a flight of string music, section 215c best kid on the block and South Paw (creamsicle). We also ordered wings, burger, brisket beer cheese fries and onion rings.

My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

Beer selection great Try the cheese curds to start. They are phenomenal. Candyce and I had burgers with her side fries and my side pork rinds omg the pork rinds were fantastic. Good service. Good food. Couple of gotchas but nothing much. Definitely will be back....

WELL, we found a great place that ticked most of those boxes, just a different view than sun and sand but that was OK! The drinks were very tasty, a mango slushy and a citrusy sour. The brewery has a really cool vibe to it, and they also have plenty of TVs where they were playing sports. I know they are a brewery and probably really good at it, but I came here for the pizza. Their selection is small but mighty. When we asked the staff what he recommended, he said all of them (not making it easy buddy). Since they are on the smaller size, we decided to get three and planning to take home some leftovers. My favorite by far was the Pancetta Garlic pizza. At the beginning I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of garlic, but damn was I wrong. The garlic was cooked to perfection and literally melted in your mouth. I don't think I've ever seen a similar pizza anywhere else, and made it even more surprising. Frankly the other two we had were also very delicious, but I truly give it the top spot to the prosciutto garlic. Last but not least, I like that they had THC on the menu. As someone who no longer drinks alcohol, it is nice to see other options available on the menu.
