We were in our way to Vystar Arena for the PBR Challenge and planned to spend some time at Intuition. It saddens me to think in 2 months this downtown institution will be history. I have spent many times drinking delicious beers with friends. The memories I have are sealed in my heart. Tonight the crowd was vast and the energy reminded of all my other visits. Thanks Intuition for being a gathering place of friends! I will forever love I-10! read more

Stopped in for a beer and fried green beans before a show at VyStar next door, and it was such a great pre-show spot. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and both the beer and food were excellent. Everything came out quickly, and the vibe was relaxed but lively. Will definitely be back before future shows, or even just for a casual hang. read more

This review is for the Bier Hall. Love the Bier Hall, which is right around the corner from the main building. This is my favorite venue to see really good bands in an intimate setting.....it's small but so much fun. I don't mind coming downtown if there is a good band playing at Intuition's Bier Hall. Love the way they utilize 904tix to sell tickets to shows. It's always organized when you show up. The Intuition staff is always so friendly. Tickets have always been cheap for the bands I've seen here. read more

Wish I lived in Jax for this brewery! Amazing location next to the jags stadium and close to other bars, Intuition has a large indoor and rooftop space good for groups. The food was fine- bar food- but fresh and no complaints. (My friend ordered the chicken Caesar- would not recommend at a brewery) The beers are very good and they have an assortment for all pallets. 10/10 recommend the milkshake ipa read more

Every time we visit the Vystar Arena we stop in to intuition to get a nice beer before our event. Now we also go to try the food. They have different bar food, we ordered the bratwurst sandwich and the BBQ sandwich. Every thing we tried was delicious and went very well with the beers we ordered. My favorite part about this place is the nice rooftop section of the brewery. The view is so pretty and relaxing to just hang out with your spouse or with the family. read more

If you need to book a private event, Intuition is the place to book it. Lindsay was such an angel to work with. She made the entire process so incredibly simple and answered any and all questions or concerns with swift response times! I booked the private taproom from 12-4p on Saturday May 3rd for a surprise 30th birthday party and it was PERFECT. They made the day so perfect from the drinks to the catering. The food was so delicious and made it super simple in terms of being pretty much a on stop shop for all my party needs! Also, talk about AFFORDABLE!!! So much love for Intuition. They are definitely a must stop by place in Jax, FL! read more

Overall: A great stop for some pre or post game food and drinks. The good: Came prior to a football game and even though the place was packed, the food and drinks were handled efficiently. The order line took 5-10 minutes to get through, but once we ordered the drinks were immediate and the food was delivered in 10-15 minutes or so (which was impressive given the amount of people there). Plenty of drink options and the food was pretty good overall, as long as you go in with the right bar-food expectations. The not-so-good: Very crowded, but that added to the fun pregame vibes. That said, we were lucky to get a table. Parking is obviously a hassle (and pricey), especially during game days. Food/drink: 8/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 8/10 read more

Hubby and I have been to Intuition Ale Works several times. Every experience has been a positive one. Delightful food menu, well known local beers, chill vibe inside and out. We've had the cheese curds, corn nuggets and the big ol' pretzel as starters - would recommend all. The jags dog, chicken tenders and Ben's butt are really good entree options. I always enjoy their sweet potato fries, too. As far as beer goes, the Jon Boat is my go-to. Hubby loves their Party Wave. Easy On The Eyes IPA is another good one. Keep in mind they get extremely busy during games, events and concerts near by. So plan ahead and get there early! read more

Stopped in here for food and drinks before a jumbo shrimp game. We sat at their rooftop area on a beautiful Tuesday evening, enjoying our beers and food that you order downstairs. Solid beers, but only wish they had a sour on their menu. I ordered the brat sandwich, completely devoured the whole thing. Sweet potatoes fries were my favorite part -- SO GOOD. Pulled pork sandwich was also incredible. All in all, fantastic ambiance, great beers, and exceptional food. read more

This a brewery and bar with good food. Great upper area to view the downtown area. Order at the bar and get your beer. Great selection of beers from board and all of them are pretty good. Candyce and I got the Jon boat brand of beer. I got the bratwurst with fries. The fries were waffle fries. Even better. Candyce got the hotdog with sweet potato fries. A little $1 up charge. Hotdog had chili and cheese on it. Definitely a plus. Good place to relax and unwind. read more

Great Brewery located right next to Vystar and EverBank stadium. We come here often before games to grab a quick bite to eat and some good beers. They have a nice rooftop and indoor seating with plenty of TVs to watch the games. Pretty typical bar food, and a decent selection of beers. Walk up bar service so as long as the line isn't too long it's quick and easy. read more

We visited intuition ale works on a Friday night with 15 people, and they took us on like pros. It was Valentine's Day, and we were traveling for a conference. There weren't a ton of other people in there. What can I say about this place? I had a brat, a pretzel with beer cheese and mustard, boiled peanuts, fried green beans, some cheese curds, and a couple beers. They hit the nail on the head with everything that I had, and we all left happy and full. I have a deep appreciation for their beer mustard with the pretzel, it was awesome. I can say for sure that I'd go to this place again if I found myself in that area of Jacksonville. read more

What a fun spot! You get a great view of the Jags stadium, right near Vystar before an event, and right Jumbo Shrimp games. They have some food options which are very reasonably priced. I wish they had a few more beers for the light beer lovers, but they had plenty of IPAs. It does get busy here but the rooftop seating is the most fun to sit at! read more

Visited the rooftop for a special event. Hold your breath on the elevator:( Buffet was incredibly mediocre with a combination of sliders, Mac and cheese, potato salad, California blend veggies, pretzel bites, crudités, wings, meatballs, southern green beans, banana pudding, and chocolate chip cookies. Somber waitstaff. Excellent selection of brewed beverages. read more

We went to Intuition Ale Works for the first time before the Justin Timberlake concert and loved it! This place is always packed before concerts and games, and we always say we'll keep it in mind if we can get down there early enough. We arrived at 6 pm and made it just in time before it got too busy. They have 2 lines - one for just beer and one for beer and food. I would love to go another day for a beer flight, but it was way too busy that day. I was happy to see the blackened fish sandwich on the menu. I assumed I'd get the black bean burger since that was the only non meat option, but the blackened fish was actually so good!! My boyfriend got the grilled chicken blt sandwich and both of our sandwiches came with delicious waffle fries. The prices were reasonable too! I was torn between like 3 different beers, but went with the stout. On a "chilly" Florida evening on the rooftop, this dark beer totally hit the spot. Our food was ready quick and we enjoyed eating on the roof watching all the people outside. We will definitely go back here again soon! read more

Fantastic spot to stop before a jags game. I saw pitchers! Teal plastic pitchers! God bless. We sat in the open air second level which was a tad less crowded (see: no bathroom line). The beer is good! Service is counter so really not existent. Not much parking and then there is the food. Blacked fish sandwich was probably about 2 oz of some non descript fish. Bun was huge and cold. fries ok but some stuck together and not cooked. Condiments in plastic pouches and no hot sauce or anything besides the basics. Could be so cool.. should have guessed it was not great when we one of two parties at lunch. read more

Decent food for a bar atmosphere and a quality micro brew meme for you to select from. They have ordering down to a science for game day. A line for beer and a liner for beer and food. We stopped in prior to a hockey game. They have 2 lines you can order from. One for food and beer and one just for beer. At times lines were long however they moved them through quickly. My husband had brat and said it was okay nothing special. Same with burger for me but filled us up. The beers were great. It's a large area and the brewery part seemed large too. It was clean food came out fast. There is a rooftop and bar as well we didn't go up to it was raining and they said no bartender up there. We would stop back in. read more

I recommend this business for their beers, I enjoy many of them but I can't say the same about their food at the brewery. I had a brat & fries for $11 & the brat was more like a cocktail frank & it was dry as hell. My friend had the pulled pork which was a little larger but he wasn't impressed with his either. I like the place & as I said their beer but won't be back for their food. read more

Okay so we only ate the Bavarian pretzel and it was BOMB AND ENORMOUS! IMO, the beer prices are a bit high and the wine is totally overpriced at $10 for a small, plastic Dixie sized cup. I did have the hazy wave I believe and it was delicious!! I would absolutely get that again! The bartenders were nice so that's a plus. I might try again for other beers & the menu though! read more

A great spot, especially the rooftop. Easy walking distance from the arena and baseball grounds. I like to eat vegetarian, so I really appreciate that they have the Beyond burger in their menu. Gem of a spot walking distance from the Hyatt on the river walk. Met up with some friends also attending a conference. The bar was quiet enough that we could talk, but was still full due to the Harry Potter trivia night they were hosting. Great variety of beer- from a thick porter to tangy sours. Cheese curds were yummy enough to even please our native Wisconsinite at the table! I tried boiled peanuts for the first time and discovered I wasn't a fan- but it was an item I'd never seen on a menu or tried before so i was curious. We travel for beer & couldn't wait to try Innovation in Jacksonville FL. We sat at the bar & had the greatest conversations with the crew at Intuition. We even tasted a few brews that were off the menu & ridiculously tasty! Great location, great beer, great team! Highly recommend! read more

Me and 5 friends ate lunch here on Saturday. We ate downstairs. I had the empanadas and sweet potato fries. I also had a Framboise inspired beer that was amazing. A friend really enjoyed the pulled pork and another said the burger was really good. The food came out quickly and was great. I was expecting so-so food and a great beer focus but honestly both were great. We then went to sit on the 2nd floor to enjoy the weather. The view was great, there was a bathroom upstairs which was convenient. It was very quiet on Saturday afternoon, I saw multiple people with baby strollers, I will definitely be back with my baby because it was enjoyable and seemed baby friendly. read more

Great "King Street" Stout! There's a seasonal maple flavored dark beer that is also killer. The German Pilsner "Civic Pride" is clean and delicious with the overly charred burger I got from the kitchen. Chef was very accommodating and added a fried green tomato. They say they are trying hard and it shows that they really are. There are some anti-masker, non social distance types so if that turns you off go up to the rooftop. read more

We attended a rehearsal dinner here. The groom's family booked the Bier tasting room, and it was a great space for the hundred or so of us. They had a large dance floor and area with tables. They should have had more seats for the crowd (you really need a chair for every individual attending if you're serving food like BBQ), not sure who made that decision. Catering was some local barbecue, and who doesn't love barbecue with beer (well, actually, I found the place that they used to be sub-par BBQ, but I don't know if that was the family's decision or the catering company that Intuition Ale Works uses)? The location was nice, right in the downtown area, although the parking situation wasn't ideal. The small private lot doesn't have enough space for a large party, and with construction in the area, you might end up walking quite a bit. I had the cranberry biscotti sour beer, and it was tasty. My husband enjoyed the pilsner. read more
