Everything about this place is fantastic! I hope they are doing great bc this is exactly what downtown needed. The food is incredible for bar food. The salads 110/10! So good and even the small is filling. I have been here many times now and every time it has been great. The drinks are very food with so much variety to keep everyone happy. The vibes are amazing, tons of TVs for all sports events. The employees are always so happy and kind! I love coming here

Here's a more polished version of your text: The food was good, though I expected a bit more. The service was fine, but not exceptional. It was a busy night downtown, so I'll give them that. We sat outside since the weather was nice and we had our pups with us. Overall, I think the main area for improvement is their service.

It's hard to believe I have not revised Pour Taproom! Your are exactly what Jacksonville neeed In my Sunday visit it was Jaguar Sunday. The atmosphere was vibrant! The staff on point and the pay as you go taps flawless I honestly love this place so much! Thanks for making downtown Jax vibrant!

Pour Taproom has a fun concept, and even as a non-beer drinker I found plenty to enjoy. I appreciated that they had a few wines (the cabernet was solid) and a surprisingly good sangria on tap. The QR code "secret menu" is worth checking since it really does have extra items not on the printed menu. I tried the fish sandwich and was impressed with the fresh ingredients and how well it was cooked. Food service was fast, and the space itself is huge with room for multiple large groups. The second floor is stylish and mirrors the same automated tap setup, with a wide selection of local brews. Music was lively but not overpowering, so conversations were easy. Parking was also a breeze with metered spots right out front, which I think are only enforced during business hours. Overall, it is a great spot to hang out, whether you are into craft beer, wine, or just looking for a laid-back place with good food and atmosphere.

Good times. Went for a friend's birthday. Check in at the front. If you're drinking, you give your ID and they give you a wristband that keeps track of drinks/pours. You're only allowed a certain amount, if you want more than the alloted, they can extend it - no problem. Don't lose the band, that's how you pay and get your ID back. Hehe. There's seating downstairs, at the bar, and some upstairs. We sat at a big table upstairs. You scan QR to order food and pay through there as well. If you have a big party, coordinate what you're getting because it's a lot of food. Hehe. Everything was yum. Definitely a cute area to chill and hangout. Staff was great - friendly, accommodating, and answered questions for suggestions. Street parking, so I rode with a friend. Hahaha. Enjoy!

We spent a rainy afternoon at Pour Taproom downtown, and it was such a fun experience! I love the concept. You get a wristband upon entry, that you pay for there, but can add on more at your table. It gives you access to pour your own drinks, so you can sample a wide variety of beers and ciders at your own pace. It's perfect for anyone who enjoys trying new things. I'm not much of a beer drinker myself, so I planned on sticking with cider, but when I spotted the espresso martini on tap, I couldn't resist. And it did not disappoint! The food was classic bar fare, but everything we ordered was tasty and came out quickly. We went all out with a bit of everything: pizzas, wings, fish and chips, burgers, plenty of appetizers, etc. It turned into quite a feast! The staff was hospitable and attentive, they made sure we had everything we needed. We sat on the upper level, which gave us a great view of the place and the people below. There weren't any big games on that day, but I can imagine the atmosphere would be electric on game days. Before heading out, we stopped by the bar for a few shots, and the bartenders were awesome! Overall, it was a great afternoon with friends! Good food, great drinks, and an even better vibe. Definitely worth checking out if you're downtown and looking for a laid back spot to hang out and try something new!

Pleasantly surprised by this place! In a good way. On tap they offer beer, wine, and cocktails. Blueberry lemonade was my fav. My family stuck with the beer. They offer all American food selections. We opted for the wings and beignets. Great choices. Everything came out hot. Comfy lounge seating, hightop tables, bar seating and outdoor seating as well. The outdoor seating has the best angle to see the live band that they offered. Epic night seeing the Katz Lair. Service was incredible. Everyone was kind and friendly and offered to help in every way imaginable. If going to see the band try to sit upstairs near or around the bar, even outside patio. Hard to see from the right side of the restaurant.

Straight-up a whole vibe in Downtown JAX Cold beers on tap, solid drinks, good food that actually hits, and the kind of spot where you can chill, catch a game, or just vibe with the crew. Add in live jazz in recognition of JAX Jazz Fest, and the energy goes up another level--smooth sounds, great pours, and that downtown atmosphere that just feels right. If you're looking for good eats, drinks, and a classy but laid-back night out... this spot is definitely worth the pull-up. #JAXJazzFest #DowntownJax #PourTaproom

This place is awesome !! The vibe is killer ! The pizza is fire ! They got tons of TVs. The kitchen staff for pizza was soo nice ! And bartenders too! It's clean. The bathrooms were big and clean. They have sooooo many beer options and you get a wrist band and help yourself ! Pretty cool layout also. The main bar has a great vibe too! They even label each tv of which games will be on so you can pick a good spot. Love that ! Their homemade vodka sauce is awesome too! We got a side of it to dip our pizza in!

Happened upon this place on accident going through downtown. Has been open just a few months. There were 2 large corporate parties when I walked in, so I dodged the taproom, but definitely want to come back to check that out. Went over to the pizza parlor side. The staff were really friendly. The bartender was really attentive, ever had to flag her down. Cute retro decor. Ordered the cheese slice (they didn't have many pork-free options, but they did have a sign posted that supply chain for their beef was impacted recently). Lots of gelato options (didn't try any this time, but they looked good). I'd try this place again.

I was so excited to come here on Superbowl Sunday. I did not know what to expect. There is a upsyair and main floor. I would have like to go to the second floor but the Mrs. Handicapped p revented us. The menu is scanned. There is also a pizza shop next door. The pizza looked dismal. I ordered lemon pepper wings that had to be sent back. In special order, I specified dry rub and all flats. The order was brought out with a mix of wings and no dry rub. I summoned the manager to deduct the wings since this is not what I ordered. I had the jerk egg rolls very tasty. Wifey second order was the beignets. I sipped beer all night. When the beignets came out they were not done. We were comped the wings and the beignets. Are you ready for some football. We sat and drank the night away. No food to be had except the jerk chicken egg rolls.

I was sooooo excited that a pour-your-own style taproom opened in Jacksonville. The space is perfect for this kind of thing and I'm glad they're capitalizing on it. Basically, you open up a tab when you get there and get these red rubber bracelets with RFID tags in them to track the pours. Then, grab a pint glass and find something on tap that you like by tapping the bracelet, choosing your tap, then pouring. I love that you don't have to commit to a pint for every option. I also like that they do seem to have a large selection of sours and at least 1 Congaree and Penn cider (I think having all of their ciders would be a game changer honestly). I'm not sure how they're keeping the kegs cold, but they could be doing better and it could be colder. I am however glad that a small cooler of chilled glasses. Previous bars like this I've been do didn't have that option so it's a nice touch. The wings aren't terrible but they also aren't anything to write home about. I'd get them again but I wouldn't ever crave them. The service is lacking for sure. Nobody is on top of it when it comes to silverware or plates. I wish they would just leave the silverware wrapped up in a napkin and call it a day. The other qualm I have about this place is that there is a 20% tip automatically if you do a "quick return" for the bracelets. I get it for convenience, but it's almost like they force the 20% tip by not having anyone there to check you out.

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful restaurant and I bar. I came across this gem visiting an old employer not too far away and enjoyed this well-decorated, well-lit, aesthetically pleasing place before their grand opening. The staff were upbeat and super friendly! The drinks are mainly from tap and you're given a wristband to self manage your own consumption. I love it here, they're open during the week from 11-10pm, Friday and Saturday nights 11-11:45pm and Sundays 12-8pm. I will be back!

My friend ordered us the Pork Belly Kimchi Fries, I got us an order of the Cheese Curds, and for my entree I got an order of the Asian Sticky Wings. I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. I'm hoping to visit again on a future weekend and possibly bringing one of my pups along with me since they are dog friendly.

We'd been here before but only once prior to a Michael Jackson event at Painting With A Twist nearby. First, let me say that I made my beer choice on name alone. It ended up being a great sour red though, so I'm not mad at it. Humor goes a long way with me though, so even if it wasn't great I would've dealt with it on name alone: Cherry Busey! We only hung out for a little bit (again, we need to get home for dinner) but it would he very easy to stay for longer. You can see from the photos that they have a ton...and I mean a ton of craft beers. In addition to that, they have a big room with lots of room to kick back. Our night was delayed shortly when my wife decided to take on one of those wooden barrel puzzle. You can see her dismay in the picture of us! We both took a crack at it for a while and never did solve it, but we eventually decided we needed to let it go. You win this time wooden barrel puzzle! Most who know me know that I am a craft beer aficionado and many (and I mean, MANY) of the craft beers that I've enjoyed are bought from or enjoyed within the confines of Beer:30. I love a great brewery as much as the next person, but as someone who loves to try out new and different beers that are not located in North Florida, the local bottleshops are my usual place to go. Beer:30's staff works incredibly hard to have a wide swath of options for any craft beer drinker. I am someone who enjoys all kinds of different beer, but who usually opts for something on the sour side of the house. Luckily, there's usually something in the fridge or on tap that fits the bill. Not to mention, how many prestigious selections from near opposite sides of the country that they are able to obtain through their distributors. Another great thing about bottleshops is that you can put together a mix-and-match 4-pack or 6-pack to take home with you. You can even get just one or two if you don't necessarily want an entire 6-pack. I will forewarn folks that some of the cans may seem a bit pricy, but it's the unfortunate side of the brew scene as a whole with the cost of aluminum and ingredients consistently going up. Beer:30's ownership changed hands not too long ago, but what I've appreciated in that changeover is the quality events and promotions. There's a silent reading hour every Tuesday, they are starting to host Diana Testa and her Italian Cooking Lessons, different fundraisers for local nonprofits, as well as beer collabs with local breweries. They've been hosting all sorts of cool arts and craft workshops, plant swaps, Beer:30 Day (on the 30th of the month), tap takeovers, and beer pairings (that Sundae Fundae with Left Hand Brewing & Mayday Ice Cream has been my fave so far). As always, Beer:30's anniversary parties are a can't miss! Due to my work schedule, there's been quite a few that I haven't been able to take part in, but I'm so happy to see their success.
