Our daughter and her husband and I got a late dinner at Iggy's. Our son-in-law wanted a large salad and ordered the Cobb Salad, but the chefs had just cut up the last of the wedges. The manager appeared and apologized, but our son-in -law was okay with kore of a chop salad with all the "fixings." Now, I call that good service because they told him and then made something else to his request. Our daughter had the lobster bisque--very "lobstery" in taste-- and a side salad, and I had a Cuban sandwich and Coleslaw. Everything was tasty! The cake for dessert was luscious! Our waitress was very attentive and so were other servers who asked if we needed anything. There was live music outdoors and the decor is on point. Thank you, Iggy's!

Hubby and I did an impromptu date night and wanted a chill spot with live music. We have been wanting to try out Iggys so we came! Glad we did. We weren't too hungry and just wanted to have apps a cocktails. Down and Dirty: Great atmosphere, good apps, good cocktails and great service. Service/Atmosphere: Walked in and wanted outside seating. All tables were taken but they found a small square table and posted it up to the side and had us sit there. It was awesome that they took the time to try and accommodate versus telling us you're SOL and forced to sit inside. The table was in a perfect spot. Close enough to the stage where the live 80's cover band played with no view obstructions but far enough where the speaker isn't in my ear. On the outside of the crowd of tables and great people watching view. Our server, Janin, was very sweet and efficient even though our table was pretty far from her section given we were a last minute outside addition. Food/Drink: We ordered the sampler platter, margaritas and beers. Good pricing and tasty.

If you are coming to Iggy's, you are not coming for the food. You are coming for the live music, drinks and sports on the various tv's. It is a lively sports bar, but that it does well. Food is okay, service is stellar, bands are great and parking is plentiful. Food? Think appetizers and they have a strong game. Think burgers and their game is still strong. Think seafood and their game falls off, like a lot. I can go more in-depth, but I think you get the picture.

We love coming here listening to live music and Saturday night didn't disappoint. Unfortunately we didn't get there early enough to get a seat outside but we could still hear the music inside while we ate. One of my favorite items to order here are the zucchini spirals. We ordered a basket to share. They tasted great as usual, but the portion size was so small compared to other times we've ordered them. We also ordered the fish and chips. The fish was fantastic! Light and flaky! The boom boom shrimp was another item we tried and were weren't disappointed. The shrimp were large and the sauce was flavorful with the right amount of kick.

Surprisingly liked this place! It's right over the Julington Creek bridge in this really pretty shopping center. There is a few restaurants in this strip and Iggy's just kinda blended in with the others. Me and John joined in on a evening run and this was our end destination picked by the host. Running up ( literally) I liked that they have a nice outdoor area, a bar and tables to eat at! We joined with the group and made happy hour, specials on drafts, wells, and wine. We were hungry so ordered a few things and shared Buffalo cauliflower- yummy! Not too spicy, and tender Zucchini spirals- again yummy! Made fresh, I've never had fried zucchini like this and it was really good! Chicken finger basket- with fries, all of it tasted good! Maybe we were just parched and hungry from exercising but dang I enjoyed everything here! Look forward to returning!

My fried chicken sandwich was well-cooked but a little salty. My husband's mango habanero wings weren't spicy, but he still liked them. Drinks were hit or miss. The spicy margarita had heat but no sweetness (not my favorite), and the espresso martini leaned more bitter than balanced. I also got a chocolate martini that was good. My hubby ordered a Elijah Craig whisky flight for $24. He liked the opportunity to explore different whiskeys. The service was good considering homeboy was tending the bar AND running around being the waiter for every table (he was the only waiter/bartender). He held it down! Bathrooms were clean, automatic points there. Overall, a solid spot for a fun night out.

When we first arrived, the hostess stayed on her phone for quite a while before acknowledging us and simply told us to sit wherever. After being seated, one of the waitresses stopped by only once to ask where the rest of our party was. Once they arrived, we were not served at all during the entire hour we sat at the table. We eventually had to go to the bar just to get drinks, and the bartender was the only friendly and attentive person we encountered the whole night. We also tried to play pool. We got dollars from the bartender and went to a table, but a very intoxicated woman claimed the table was "hers," even though she had not paid and was waiting for someone else to give her money for it. No staff stepped in to manage the situation. After one drink, we decided it was best to leave. Unfortunately, the lack of service and overall atmosphere made this a very poor experience.

The decor is playful and immersive, and there's usually something going on -- from live DJs to karaoke on the main stage. The drink menu is where Nakama really shines. There's a solid selection of mixed drinks, often with creative anime-inspired names and presentations, plus a nice bonus: they serve a local soda brand that's actually pretty tasty. It's the kind of place you go to kick back with friends, sing your heart out, and enjoy the scene. But when it comes to food -- that's where things fall flat. The menu technically comes from the café next door, and while it sounds promising on paper, it doesn't translate well to the plate. Most dishes are either way too salty or bland to the point of forgettable. It's clear food isn't the focus here, which is fine, but it's something to keep in mind if you're showing up hungry. Service is friendly and accommodating. Staff does their best, but they're often out of certain menu items and seem to be working with limited resources -- not their fault, but noticeable. Honestly, a new chef or reworked food concept would go a long way. A quick heads-up: the private karaoke rooms are fun but overpriced at $16 per person per hour, so weigh that before booking. Still, the open-stage karaoke and regular themed events keep the main space lively and fun without the extra cost. Bottom line: Nakama is a great place to hang out, drink, and enjoy anime-themed entertainment. Just maybe eat beforehand.

We stopped here, at this location, late one night with some friends and it was so nice to find a place that served food and drinks later in the evening. Service was a little slow but in fairness there were only 3 or 4 front of house staff working that evening including the bartender. Now, this location has a slightly different menu than the one in Savannah but still has a few of their popular dishes such as the Treylor Park Nachos Grande, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, PB&J Wings, and Treylor Park Pot Pie! I always order the Treylor Park Nachos... it's a massive tray of waffle fries plus a healthy amount of toppings such as pickles, fried chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese with chive ranch & balsamic gastrique. I mean it's a meal of WAFFLE FRIES with enough for myself, to share, and leftovers for when I get home from the drive there! LOL! The Treylor Park Pot Pie is really good too. It's basically chicken pot pie filling in a fried burrito with some pico de gallo on top. My friends ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes... which she loved and was a first for me. Verdict: I liked them. This location is pretty good but it's still not quite as good as the original location; however, I would still recommend giving this place a try.
