Trivia Tuesday nights! Food and service has always been friendly, and the layout is reasonably set up with plenty of room to have a big group or dining for two. The menu is on the pricey side, but tasty! The hubs and I seem to get the steak nachos every time we go. It's definitely worth the visit for a date night or a place to come for a few beers and hang out for a bit.

Tried Back 40 Urban Fresh this past weekend and I'm glad I did. Great service, great food, great selection of beer, reasonable happy hour prices and a great place to spend that happy hour or watch a game. This is no dive bar though. Clean, updated, interior casual decor. Service was great, everyone was attentive and our food came out quick. Both the veggie wrap and the cheesesteak were delicious. The sweet potato fries were the best I've had. Fried and flavored perfectly and they were almost like planks. Really well executed. We'll definitely make this a stop when we're in the area and I highly recommend you give them a try.

DE-LICIOUS! We had the Cuban sandwich with black beans and rice (I thought is was weird that they served it with Mexican rice instead of white rice, but it was good), and the Island Bowl, both of which was packed with flavor. A commodity for some reason in this area.

Urban 40 was our Friday lunch date near home Johns and is also in St Johns county. It has the average bar feel. Out side seating, booth and a family style table for roasting and toasting. We both had the jerk chicken salad which was amazing. But watch out for the sour cucumber, alot of vinegar. I would add more jerk chicken to my salad. I even got a happy hour beer. Miller lite is my favorite! Our waiter was on top of everything. I want to come back for a boys night. Urban 40 hit all the marks. Perfection.

I can't remember the name of the taco place that was here, but I loved it. I hope this place lives up! Decor is pretty similar. So it didn't. Service was mediocre at best. I ordered the BLT avocado wrap...it was mostly lettuce and wrap. Really disappointing.

First time here and I will definitely be a repeat customer. I'm gluten free and our server was very helpful telling me what was gluten free and delicious. I had 3 tacos all on corn, the smash burger taco was really so good. The 2 shrimp tacos were also quite amazing. My husband had the buffalo tacos and he loved them but said they were really spicy.

This place is the best hang out for me and my husband. We enjoy the bar seating, the bartender is great, the drinks and food are delicious. Happy hour prices are the best too.

We came back again and the second time was just as good as the first! We sat at a table this time and our server was constantly checking on us and making sure we were enjoying our meal. She was great! I ordered the buffalo chicken sliders (they were part of the game day special which is a burger, chicken, and pulled pork slider, but I was able to get all chicken). The sliders were the perfect amount of spicy, and the sweet potato fries were massive. I also ordered the house salad and couldn't believe how big it was! I just ordered a side portion but it was large enough to be a main. The house ranch was a great dressing to have with it. I'm not a huge fan of ranch in my salad (I usually go for vinaigrette), but our server recommended it as it's not as thick as other ranch dressings, and she was right! I love how casual this place is, yet the food is top notch. It's great for a lazy weekend dinner.

Popped in for fist time on a Sunday afternoon. We found the place bright, quiet and had many options. We sat at the bar and were served efficiently by our waitress, Emma. Started with the avocado app which was delicious and a lil spicy. I ordered the island bowl w/out jalapeños and onion and salad on the side. I enjoyed it and took more that 1/2 home. Hubby ordered burrito and managed to eat the whole thins as he had no breakfast. Everything was fresh and tasty. Emma was a delight. They have a dessert case which had some amazing cakes displayed but we didn't indulge. We will return.

This location has been a few different restaurants, but Back 40 has found a way to survive. Good weekend sandwich and taco spot.

Just so much more fresh than ordinary places to eat. It was cold when we went, so it made it that much better.

As much as I adore and appreciate the open layout and colorful decor of the expansive dining room,…read moreI often elect to dine at the bar when im flying solo. The "Dia De Los Muertes" artwork throughout the restaurant is great to sit and take in, especially if its your first visit. The TVs at the bar keep me entertained as I greedily snack on the tasty chips and salsa while watching whatever sports event is on. I've had quite a few dishes here, but my go-to fave is the Carnitas. Flavorful pulled pork, Spanish rice, refried beans, esquites (Mexican street corn), and warm flour tortillas. Forget eating everything separately...I go all in and scoop everything into that tortilla. SO GOOD. The tang and crunch from the esquites puts it over the top. Add a little squeeze of lime and dig in. The Enchiladas are also a good option when Im in the mood for some cheesy-melty goodness. The red sauce is rich and flavorful, and pairs wonderfully with the tender shreds of meat and that cool hit of the sour cream. Is Cantina Louie "authentic" Mexican food? Dont know, dont care. Quick reality check...this isn't Tijuana. The food is great and I've never had a negative vibe or experience here, with either the food or the staff. Highly recommend if youre in the area.

The burritos were literally the biggest I have ever seen and definitely could feed more than one person. I didn't care for the grouper taco much, it was kinda sweet but the steak taco was delicious.

Canopy Road Cafe is usually hopping and there's good reason for that. We had a wait on this Sunday,…read morebut that was mainly because there was rain outside and there tables in the patio weren't accessible. The wait was well worth it. The restaurant itself is small, the space used well. The decor bright and clean and all the service from the time of check in, along with the meal was stellar. With this being my first visit, I went for the basics for my breakfast. The eggs, coffee and sausage were really good. I like my coffee a bit stronger, but that's a preference thing. The hash browns were so crispy, so tasty. Some of the best I've had. No soft middle, just cooked to perfection. The pancake fantastic as well. Great taste, great consistency, just a hint of sugar. Canopy Road Cafe is a really solid choice for your breakfast or brunch and I highly recommend you give them a try.

My server was very nice and attentive. Im so glad I read the yelp reviews before coming because that's how I learned about them having mimosas. Just like a previous yelper said, they weren't even on the menu. They actually had different interesting flavors. I decided to try the citrus mint mimosa. Unfortunately it was too much citrus and didn't taste the mint at all. The goat in the garden rolled omelette was mediocre. I liked the goat cheese in it and their bacon was good. The cheesy grits were bland. I probably will go to First Watch next time instead of here.
