It's a limited menu but the view makes up for it. It offers private parking and you can still hear the busy road in the background but the music was good and the area is well kept. You can choose to sit close and mingle at the tiki bar on grab a seat by the fire pit. I sat on what looked like an old, repurposed boat seat with a view for some solo time. This is a great little spot at the marina to stop and have a drink even if you don't have a boat. They only serve beer and cocktails in a can. They do have a wide variety of beverages. The happy hour is great! I think it was $2 off any drink. One thin I do love is they serve my beer, 16 oz PBRs. They do have clean restrooms at the corner of the service building which is by the parking lot. read more

This spot is in a great location and the ambience is cool. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It's simple and has a good variety of beers and other tiki-like drinks. My rating is based on what I witnessed there from a regular patron that made me think this may not be the most welcoming place to more progressive people. I'm sure it was an anomaly and not a common occurrence, but it happened nonetheless, and I'm sharing it because others like me experience things like this regularly living where we live. There was a guy there from somewhere up north who was a little loud and quite annoying, honestly. He used the word (and properly I might add) in a conversation with someone else about a dog, so nothing political. The regular then proceeded to go after this guy, asking him why he would use that word...not knowing it's the actual word used to describe what the dog was. Anyway, this is a small place and everyone is witnessing the whole scene. The regular then says that he assumed this guy is a liberal because only a liberal would use that word. I won't recount the entire conversation, but the words "we don't want you here" in reference to him supposedly being a liberal were spoken. He said it loudly and proudly. I immediately got up and paid my bill so I could leave. No one else at the bar stepped up and said anything in opposition to the we don't want you here comment. It was disappointing. This was my experience. It was one night with one person acting this way, so you can take it for what it's worth. I've been in contact with the owner of the bar and can say he's a stand up guy and wasn't happy about the situation. I believe him that he strives for his bar to be open to any and all and just wants people to enjoy themselves. Maybe I just went on the wrong night, but it still happened and it would give me pause to go back. But otherwise, it's a cool place. read more
