    Blackened Fish sandwich with coleslaw
    Donald H.

went to Caddyshack when they had entertainment. the place is on two tiers with a nice bar and is decorated with tons of Bill Murray and Caddyshack memorabilia. The food was a mixed bag with some nice ideas that would elevate it above standard bar food but the execution often lacked the necessary finesse. we stared with the buffalo broccoli which was a nice portion of deep fried broccoli smothered in a tangy and delicious buffalo sauce. unfortunately, the broccoli was so over fried that it was almost inedible. Their fish of the day was redfish (and it really was) so I had the blackened redfish sandwich with a side of coleslaw and my wife had a broiled redfish dinner. Each dish had a very generous portion of fish that was bit overcooked. Additionally my fish looked blackened but it had little flavor and no heat. My coleslaw was actually pretty good but my wife's buffalo cucumbers were less successful and should be avoided. Our friends had more traditional bar food as one had fish and chips which was a huge piece (two actually) of nicely fried cod and nicely cooked french fries. The other had a half pound burger and a humongous Wedge salad. while the salad was huge (dinner sized) and tasty the burger was flavorless and disappointing. The service was efficient but our young waiter showed no personality at all. The entertainment was very good and the crowd was into the songs--singing along on some and frequently dancing if the food was even a little better I would recommend Caddyshack. However, unless you want to go to a lively bar and don't care about the quality and taste of the food I think that you can find better options.

Been there a bunch of times and usually get the jambalaya or the Ruben. Jambalaya is on point. Ruben is also good but ask for extra sauce if you like a lot. Also could use a little more corned beef. We always eat at the bar and service has always been great as well. The place is obviously a golfer/movie theme with some cool artifacts and movie memorabilia. My 5 star rating is comparing it to similar priced and styled places which is how I do all my reviews.

Service by Michael was attentive and good. Turkey BBQ hoagie was very good. Mahi was overcooked and had little taste. Have a feeling a lot of customers like myself are staying at the hotel or played golf. Inside has the golf theme and some pictures from Caddyshack. Large seating including Bar area. Wouldn't run back.

Well we arrived before posted hours of closure. Drive a bit of a ways only to find it closed!! So no real review other than closed before posted hours of closure. A true Wally World experience!!

Girlfriend and I stopped in to celebrate! Got seated outside like we wanted. Very surprised we were the only ones out there cause it was BEAUTIFUL!

We were on our way home from NC and looking for a new place. Decided to drive a little further to make to last lap tomorrow easier. We stopped at the Renaissance and Caddy Shack was in walking distance. Always been wanting to stop in here. Typical pub feel. Pretty busy for a Sunday. Wondering if all these folks are staying in our hotel. All kinds of Murray stuff in the walls. We still got a seat right away and our server Ellie was so nice. She took good care of us. Started with ASIAN SALAD. Portions are large. Easily shareable. This was really good. Get ahi tuna on top. Then we had the jambalaya. Very good. Deep flavors. Could have used more rice though. We finished with some GOPHER HOLES. Fried dough with strawberries. Delicious. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality, quantity and price of our food.

Definitely comfort food and it was enjoyable. Service was quick and accommodating, the Ambiance was nothing less than a Caddyshack Fans Mecca. Stopped here intentionally on our way up to Hilton Head. Hitting this and Buckeees at the same area was spectacular. The moment you pull up to the restaurant you'll think it's cheesy with the golf ball and gator. But then you realize it's on a real golf course. When you enter you're engulfed by Bill Murray memorabilia, mostly and expectedly, Caddyshack. Our party if four enjoyed it and felt it was well worth the stop, filled our bellies and straight to Hilton Head after that.

What a fun, out of the way spot! I've lived in the area for a few years, and this was my first visit to Caddyshack. Food is pretty standard Pub food, with some very tasty "Gopher Holes" for dessert (kind of like beignets dipped in cinnamon sugar). Service by Connor E was efficient and friendly. Pricing at about $40 per person all-in was at the higher end, but that was because we got an appetizer, a meal, drinks, dessert and tip. Overall the value is quite reasonable. The environment is fun and themed with the original movie - there's also a wonderful sized lounge room for larger parties, and many outdoor tables in a covered area to protect from sun and rain. Overall, fun experience and a place where I will certainly return.

This restaurant is located within World Golf Village in St. AUGUSTINE. It has indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. We were quickly seated by our waiter, Connor. The restaurant has great theming and decorations inspired by the movie. The menu has plenty of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, entrees, and dessert. We started with the crispy, deep-fried mashed potato balls. They were accompanied by a tasty horseradish sauce. I ordered the smokehouse BBQ burger with cheddar cheese and an onion ring on it. It was really good. My husband had the pastrami sandwich. For dessert we had the gopher balls, which were sugary fried donut hole, and they were delicious. Service from Connor was friendly and efficient.

The margarita was good, not great, but pretty good. My husband had deviled crab with a baked potato and applesauce. I had the 2-item platter with shrimp and scallops. Both were absolutely delicious, came out hot and cooked to perfection. I had grits, and found them to be pretty good, but not real hot. I'm a picky southern gal and I don't mess around with my grits!! Green beans were excellent!! We will definitely come back if we are in the area again!

Even though it was in the 90s outside, the deck was actually very pleasant, and watching the turtles and fish in the pond was by far the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, that was where the positives ended. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi fish sandwich with fries. The fish itself was actually well cooked and nicely seasoned, but the tomato on the sandwich was literally the top core slice of the tomato. A simple glance in the kitchen would have easily prevented that. We also had the shrimp po' boy with fries. The bun had been placed on the grill to toast, but it picked up heavy black char that ended up all over the bread and mixed into the shrimp. I bit into the sandwich and was shocked to crunch down on bitter, burnt residue that even hurt my tooth. It really made me wonder what else had been on that grill. The shrimp itself also had a freezer-burnt taste, and the fries had a similar off flavor. For a seafood restaurant, I didn't expect that level of quality issue with basic ingredients. The server offered to remake the sandwich but with that kind of taste, I did not think a remake would fix the problem. Overall, very disappointing food experience. I'm honestly surprised by the generally good reviews and unfortunately can't recommend this restaurant based on our visit.

We made an early reservation since we saw they do Happy Hour 4PM to 5:00PM everyday so we had to get in on that. We walked and and were seated at our table. They made sure to let us know you can sit anywhere during Happy Hour and still get the specials where many restaurants limit it to a bar area. Rustica does a great job of Happy Hour. They have appetizers, cocktails, beer, Sake, wine, and even main course happy hour entrees too. I started off with a cocktail going for the Liliko Martini which I really enjoyed. I have really been into my Passion Fruit drinks lately. We of course had to get some of the Happy Hour appetizers too and we might have gone a little overboard but for sure worth it. We got: The Naan Bread Yellow Beet Salad Crispy Tofu Roasted Pork Belly Bao Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia Japanese Style Fried Chicken These were a great way to start off dinner and not one of them were $8 or less. If I had to pick favorites the best was for sure the Roasted Pork Belly Bao. I think it might have been the best Pork Belly Bao I had ever had. I was a large thick piece of Pork Belly but it just melted you your mouth and had so much flavor. We also very much enjoyed the Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia which were much bigger then expected. The Japanese Style Fried Chicken was great too and the BBQ Ranch took it to the next level. For my entree I went with the Basil Crusted Roasted Monkfish which came with Vietnamese Yellow Curry, Crispy Shrimp and veggies. The Monkfish was cooked perfectly. I had a great sear on it too which gave it a bit of a crunch. I know Monkfish can sometimes be intimidated people because it was pretty ugly looking but let me tell you if it's prepared like this you're going to love it. Some of the best fish I have had. The Vietnamese Yellow Curry paired very well with it too. Wasn't too heavy and didn't over power the fish but just added an extra boost of flavor. I know what you're thinking who could was possibly be hungry for dessert but it sounded good so we ordered the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee and the Yuzu Cheesecake. Both were light enough that we could still really enjoy them after all we had eaten. We really like that the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee also had bubble boba in it which we didn't expect. We had an amazing meal and for sure be coming back sooner rather then later.
