I met Quig at his other restaurant Two Dudes seafood. He told me about this place. That and the great reviews made it a must try on my next Jacksonville trip! I was not disappointed. I got the Ultimate Burger without a bun and the Pork rinds. The rinds came out popping! They were hot and fresh! Amazing. The burger was really good too! Juicy patties with crispy bacon and grilled pastrami! Yummmy! The girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Nice clean restaurant with great food and service. I will be back!

This is a little hole in the wall burger joint in a strip mall next to a gas station. Tips for a successful visit... 1) Don't be in a hurry. They make everything fresh (the sign at the counter says so) and apparently that means killing the cow and harvesting the garden. Our order took 35 minutes. Not that it wasn't tasty, just don't get in a twist if you expect speedy, because this isn't it. 2) The appetizers are "ok". My daughter loves mozzarella cheese sticks. She only ate one because they were only lukewarm. Same with my fried pickles. 3) Young lady at the counter was very friendly. 4) Mushroom burgers were delicious. Fair warning, take your statin (cholesterol medicine for you youngsters) before you come because they are artery cloggers. 5) Fries were great.

Well after saving this location on my list for awhile I finally made it yesterday. It was my family of three which includes my 14 year old daughter and my friend who has two younger kids, 5 and 7. None of us had been there before and the owner helped us understand what the menu offered and the quality of the food which I appreciated. One thing I want to call out is he offered to have the younger kids food come out first (something I know you almost always have to suggest yourself). On to the food... The ladies had salmon fish tacos and they loved them. My daughter was determined to get the Ultimate burger which is HUGE. She loved every bite and she could only eat about half so it made for good leftovers. It's made with high quality meat like Angus beef and brisket. I think I'm getting that next time. I had the loaded chicken tenders with everything on it. I could tell at the first bite this was not cheap chicken meat which hard breaded tenders. The fries with the tenders and jalapeños were a perfect combination. I apologize there's not pictures for all this food but I made sure to get a pic of the burger. It's one of a kind. The interior is clean and service was great as you can tell the owner cares about his food and his customers. I'm glad we found another option to the typical franchises around here. Our friends said they'll definitely be back too.

This is in a strip mall with a gas station. We pulled it up as a places to eat on our drive home and got good reviews. You go up to the counter and order and pay the pick a seat and they bring your food to you. . They had some high top tables, some tables with chairs, and then tables that had a long cushioned bench on the other side. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and since we had never been there, we asked what her two favorite things were and she said the burger that my husband got and fried shrimp, but I really want a sandwich so I got the chicken sandwich My husband said his snake bike burger was very good. My chicken sandwich was a fried chicken sandwich. I don't think it had anything special to it. They toast the bun and they put lettuce, tomato pickles, and onions on it. The french fries were good, but they were seasoned and that's not my favorite. I prefer regular. The food was served pretty quick. I feel $2 for a piece of cheese is expensive. Our 2 sandwiches with a side of fries without anything to drink came to $39.49. I don't think we will be back.

Quig's Meats & Eats! We had the BEST burger in JAX here. Local business with excellent service. It seems nearly impossible to get a perfect burger, but I have found it! Not to mention, the SEASONED fries!!! Breathtaking! We met Quig himself! What a nice, down to earth guy who shared his story about getting into the restaurant business and provided lovely customer service regarding our meals. My mom has particular buyer requests, she likes them well done. Quig's team successfully delivered the perfect burger for her! The whole experience was so pleasant and I will be forever recommending Quig's Meats and Eats! So next time you're craving a good burger, some seafood, or wings; head down to Quigs!

Small location, seriously great burgers. They serve more than burger (salads, chicken) but I think the big draw is their burgers and homemade sauces. To start off with their burgers are made the combination of Angus beef and ground chuck, and the patties come out about a full quarter inch tall. You can double stack them, which my son and I did on this first visit of ours. He loved the double stack, but I thought it was almost too much. So you make your choice, you can't go wrong with either. A little about the restaurant. it is counter serve, it's fairly small, but it's ridiculously clean and service was wonderful. When we were there, we were served by Jade and was friendly, engaging and clearly wanted to make sure we had the best experience. When I told her we wanted to try all the different sauces with our fries, she didn't hesitate and came back with a smallsamples of each. Hats off to her. But you wanna know about the food: NOTE ALL SAUCES ARE HOMEMADE. Ranch - good, really good Honey Mustard - love, but I love honey mustard Spicy Ranch - another good one Coconut - different, but I just don't think they're good for fries, I'm sure they'd be fantastic on seafood, specially shrimp Tartar - perfection Q - Sauce - hands down FAVORITE, delicious. Ultimate Burger - my son was in heaven, big thick slices of bacon, with all the fixings. The two patties stood about a half inch tall without the bun.. Double patty burger - I did to make your own version comment and as I said before, maybe a little too much meat for me, so when I go back, I'm gonna go for the single. There's a lot to love about the spot, the cleanliness, the service, the homemade sauces, but the real draw is the burgers. I'm already planning my next trip back.

Visiting my son & DIL this past weekend, both of my son's dining suggestions were wing-focused. But my vegetarian DIL (she eats some seafood) seemed to be more interested in Bonchon than the other potential spot, so I took her side to make our choice. I can usually find something to eat on any menu, in spite of my immature palette, and Bonchon was no exception. In fact, there are several other things I want to try now! We started with the Korean Cucumber Salad & Bao Buns with Pork Belly. No one that knows me will be surprised that the cucumber salad was much too hot for me. But here is something unexpected... I loved the cole slaw on the Bao Bun, and the sauces were complementary enough that the spice level was fine for me. I would definitely order the Bao Buns again, and try the other meats. For my meal, I ordered the Bibimbap with Bulgogi, and really enjoyed it. Their marinated beef was very tasty, and of course I love an egg on just about anything. Another (non)shock, I did not care for the Bibimbap Sauce because it was rather hot; I appreciated that it was served on the side. Hubs said the mushrooms & caramelized onions were very good, but I didn't eat either. Then I tried a Classic Crunch drumstick, and fell in love! Yes, I bit into it like y'all do, and ate the skin, too. What a delicious piece of chicken! I didn't even need a dipping sauce (& I can't remember what the boys chose anyway). My son insisted that I'd enjoy a Korean BBQ wing also, and I'm sure I would, but I was already getting full. Next time! Also for my next visit, my DIL got a Mopo Corndog as her appetizer (though she also ate a lot of the cucumber salad), and it looked amazing! The name was confusing (to me), but there is no hot dog inside, so I want to try one. Fried mozzarella & potato cubes! They have two versions, so of course I want to try both; although I'm rather skeptical about the sugar-cinnamon coating, I'm anticipating an unexpectedly delicious bite. Service was fantastic, although they weren't very busy yet on this Saturday evening. Our server was very attentive & friendly, and none of us waited for a new drink or refill. My son & DIL evidently visit often, so I'm sure we'll return. I wish we had a Bonchon location closer to us!

They have wings, boneless wings, tenders, sandwiches, fries and veggies. The cashier/manager, Angela, told me they currently had a 30 wings for 30 dollars special so I decided to go with that. They offer about 11 or 12 flavors of wings. I went with the original hot, garlic parmesan and the smoky bbq. All three flavors tasted great. I also got an order of the fries which were real potatoes and delicious. I went with the blue cheese dressing and I think it was the best I have ever had. It had a garlic taste to it. They have six tables for dining in, but also do a great amount of takeout orders. Service was fairly quick and friendly.

Honestly, I was a little worried. Another lousy NE FL Pizza on my horizon was my thought. However, when I got home I tried it and not only was it perfectly cooked, it blew me the f&ck away. Sorry for the language but it really did blow me the F&ck away. It was the perfect sausage and onion pizza from my youth. It matched the memory of perfect pizza that I thought was lost forever. We also ordered a Grandma's Original pizza with extra cheese. Not only was the taste different from the sausage pizza which is unlike other pizza stores in this area it was delishious in an entire different way. Plus the cheese isn't chewy!!! A Calzone rounded out a perfect pizza experience. Today was my wife and I's 25th wedding anniversary. We celebrated it with a cruise with the kids back around the holidays but had still planned for the 2 of us going out tonight. During the day today we decided to go to Bala's for pizza to celebrate instead of a fancy French dinner. We ordered my favorite Bala's sausage & onion pizza, a grandma's original with extra cheese for my wife and a BBQ Chicken pizza for one of our sons who decided to eat with us tonight. We added 2 cannolis for the anniversary cake. Again the pizza was great and the cannoli were so good we could have eaten a few of them or probably more than a few of them.... The rainbow cake is next. The employees were very nice. The establishment was clean including the restrooms. The only negative about this location is they really do need more handicap parking at the entrance. Im recovering from back surgery and neck fusion surgery within the last 1 1/2 to 2 years. I have less than a year of Physical Therapy under my belt due to healing times and it's still difficult for me to carry 3 boxes of pizza and a container of cannoli during rush hour around 30 to 40 yards through traffic in a busy parking lot. I do my best not to bite the curb and so far so good getting to my truck. I do cover up my ailments well so they probably dodn't realize I needed assistance and figured my wife had it on this last visit. All in all, I very highly recommend Bala's Pizza. Even for a 25th wedding anniversary when one can afford a high end restaurant experience. The pleasure their pizza gave us made it the perfect choice. All the way!!!! Sausage over escargo! This dinner was perfect. Thank you Bala's and Yelp!!! What a find!!!

Now, this location has a slightly different menu than the one in Savannah but still has a few of their popular dishes such as the Treylor Park Nachos Grande, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, PB&J Wings, and Treylor Park Pot Pie!
