    Blackened Fish sandwich with coleslaw
    Donald H.

went to Caddyshack when they had entertainment. the place is on two tiers with a nice bar and is decorated with tons of Bill Murray and Caddyshack memorabilia. The food was a mixed bag with some nice ideas that would elevate it above standard bar food but the execution often lacked the necessary finesse. we stared with the buffalo broccoli which was a nice portion of deep fried broccoli smothered in a tangy and delicious buffalo sauce. unfortunately, the broccoli was so over fried that it was almost inedible. Their fish of the day was redfish (and it really was) so I had the blackened redfish sandwich with a side of coleslaw and my wife had a broiled redfish dinner. Each dish had a very generous portion of fish that was bit overcooked. Additionally my fish looked blackened but it had little flavor and no heat. My coleslaw was actually pretty good but my wife's buffalo cucumbers were less successful and should be avoided. Our friends had more traditional bar food as one had fish and chips which was a huge piece (two actually) of nicely fried cod and nicely cooked french fries. The other had a half pound burger and a humongous Wedge salad. while the salad was huge (dinner sized) and tasty the burger was flavorless and disappointing. The service was efficient but our young waiter showed no personality at all. The entertainment was very good and the crowd was into the songs--singing along on some and frequently dancing if the food was even a little better I would recommend Caddyshack. However, unless you want to go to a lively bar and don't care about the quality and taste of the food I think that you can find better options.

Been there a bunch of times and usually get the jambalaya or the Ruben. Jambalaya is on point. Ruben is also good but ask for extra sauce if you like a lot. Also could use a little more corned beef. We always eat at the bar and service has always been great as well. The place is obviously a golfer/movie theme with some cool artifacts and movie memorabilia. My 5 star rating is comparing it to similar priced and styled places which is how I do all my reviews.

Service by Michael was attentive and good. Turkey BBQ hoagie was very good. Mahi was overcooked and had little taste. Have a feeling a lot of customers like myself are staying at the hotel or played golf. Inside has the golf theme and some pictures from Caddyshack. Large seating including Bar area. Wouldn't run back.

Well we arrived before posted hours of closure. Drive a bit of a ways only to find it closed!! So no real review other than closed before posted hours of closure. A true Wally World experience!!

We were on our way home from NC and looking for a new place. Decided to drive a little further to make to last lap tomorrow easier. We stopped at the Renaissance and Caddy Shack was in walking distance. Always been wanting to stop in here. Typical pub feel. Pretty busy for a Sunday. Wondering if all these folks are staying in our hotel. All kinds of Murray stuff in the walls. We still got a seat right away and our server Ellie was so nice. She took good care of us. Started with ASIAN SALAD. Portions are large. Easily shareable. This was really good. Get ahi tuna on top. Then we had the jambalaya. Very good. Deep flavors. Could have used more rice though. We finished with some GOPHER HOLES. Fried dough with strawberries. Delicious. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality, quantity and price of our food.

Definitely comfort food and it was enjoyable. Service was quick and accommodating, the Ambiance was nothing less than a Caddyshack Fans Mecca. Stopped here intentionally on our way up to Hilton Head. Hitting this and Buckeees at the same area was spectacular. The moment you pull up to the restaurant you'll think it's cheesy with the golf ball and gator. But then you realize it's on a real golf course. When you enter you're engulfed by Bill Murray memorabilia, mostly and expectedly, Caddyshack. Our party if four enjoyed it and felt it was well worth the stop, filled our bellies and straight to Hilton Head after that.

What a fun, out of the way spot! I've lived in the area for a few years, and this was my first visit to Caddyshack. Food is pretty standard Pub food, with some very tasty "Gopher Holes" for dessert (kind of like beignets dipped in cinnamon sugar). Service by Connor E was efficient and friendly. Pricing at about $40 per person all-in was at the higher end, but that was because we got an appetizer, a meal, drinks, dessert and tip. Overall the value is quite reasonable. The environment is fun and themed with the original movie - there's also a wonderful sized lounge room for larger parties, and many outdoor tables in a covered area to protect from sun and rain. Overall, fun experience and a place where I will certainly return.

I have been wanting to visit Caddyshack ever since I first saw the sign along I-95 after moving to Florida more than an decade ago, since I was camping in the area I took advantage of the opportunity. We arrived just after their opening at 11:30 AM, after being greeted by a few members of the staff at the hostess station we decided to go directly to "The Shed" to maybe grab a few souvenirs, the selection is pretty small I was really expecting to have a pro shop type experience so it was a little disappointing once I entered the small space. After that we decide to grab a few seats at the bar, by this time a few more customer were seated in the country club like setting ordering drinks and food - we were greeted by Kim who was tending bar she was very nice and brought a few menus over and took our drink orders (spicy Bloody Mary and a Mimosa) both arrived quickly and met out expectations especially when we cashed out for under $16 excluding the tip. We decided to pass on food so I can't speak of it, it's a very nostalgic venue especially knowing the history and a fan of the original movie. The 4 stars were based on customer service and it's cool factor...

Thinking it was a hidden gem because we had never heard of it, we gave it a try. Sadly, it wasn't all we expected it to be. Once we found it hidden in the back of a small shopping center in World Golf Village, we went inside to an empty restaurant at what should've been a bustling lunchtime crowd. The restaurant had all of two employees working. The cashier/waitress asked us to seat ourselves and she brought us the menus. 5, yes FIVE, different things that we attempted to order were out of stock! How do you run a restaurant when 5 staple items are out of stock.... Hamburger patties, bacon, onion rings, and all fountain drinks including coke & dr. Pepper???? It quickly became obvious why the entire restaurant was empty! After we made alternative choices from the menu and received our meals, the waitress spent the entire time we were in her presence talking in the phone and to someone who seemed to be a regular patron that had come in after us to pick up a to-go order. I heard her say that 'today is my last day because I'm moving.' After hearing that, it made sense as to why she never came back to our table to see if we needed anything. We even had to request she bring our check so that we could pay the bill and leave. She was 'too busy' to notice we were finished & waiting.... The food that we got wasn't horrible.... Too bad the service wasn't that great. We most certainly did NOT receive a good first impression and likely won't give it a second try!

Really amazing! Our server, Susan, was outstanding! She's the one who makes the coleslaw whenever she's on schedule and it's absolutely delicious. I highly recommend. I went on Sunday with my family and we all got the special of about 20 shrimp anyway you like them cooked: fried, steamed or blackened for $16.99 (@ the time I'm writing this review). We all went for the fried shrimp dinner. I chose the fries as my other side and added the unlimited salad bar for just $2.99 more. The salad bar had everything I love about an AYCE salad buffet and it's definitely worth the add. 5-STARS for their classic ranch dressing! And the balsamic dressing, blue cheese dressing and French dressing was excellent, too. They offer a few others, but I didn't try them. I have to have ranch with my fries and I grabbed a bowl of it from the salad bar. I washed it all down with some of their classic Southern sweet tea and I was too full for the Key Lime Pie on special for the day. Next time... After our meal, we went out of the deck to feed the turtles, fish and other wildlife and snap some photos to share. Overall, it was a fantastic meal. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and fried. The service was fast, friendly and professional. And the scenery was truly gorgeous. Yea, I'm probably going to celebrate my birthday here this year.

We made an early reservation since we saw they do Happy Hour 4PM to 5:00PM everyday so we had to get in on that. We walked and and were seated at our table. They made sure to let us know you can sit anywhere during Happy Hour and still get the specials where many restaurants limit it to a bar area. Rustica does a great job of Happy Hour. They have appetizers, cocktails, beer, Sake, wine, and even main course happy hour entrees too. I started off with a cocktail going for the Liliko Martini which I really enjoyed. I have really been into my Passion Fruit drinks lately. We of course had to get some of the Happy Hour appetizers too and we might have gone a little overboard but for sure worth it. We got: The Naan Bread Yellow Beet Salad Crispy Tofu Roasted Pork Belly Bao Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia Japanese Style Fried Chicken These were a great way to start off dinner and not one of them were $8 or less. If I had to pick favorites the best was for sure the Roasted Pork Belly Bao. I think it might have been the best Pork Belly Bao I had ever had. I was a large thick piece of Pork Belly but it just melted you your mouth and had so much flavor. We also very much enjoyed the Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia which were much bigger then expected. The Japanese Style Fried Chicken was great too and the BBQ Ranch took it to the next level. For my entree I went with the Basil Crusted Roasted Monkfish which came with Vietnamese Yellow Curry, Crispy Shrimp and veggies. The Monkfish was cooked perfectly. I had a great sear on it too which gave it a bit of a crunch. I know Monkfish can sometimes be intimidated people because it was pretty ugly looking but let me tell you if it's prepared like this you're going to love it. Some of the best fish I have had. The Vietnamese Yellow Curry paired very well with it too. Wasn't too heavy and didn't over power the fish but just added an extra boost of flavor. I know what you're thinking who could was possibly be hungry for dessert but it sounded good so we ordered the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee and the Yuzu Cheesecake. Both were light enough that we could still really enjoy them after all we had eaten. We really like that the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee also had bubble boba in it which we didn't expect. We had an amazing meal and for sure be coming back sooner rather then later.

The meatloaf my friend said was phenomenal and interestingly enough they do make it with milk. The Philly cheesesteak looked really great. The chicken pot pie however I will say was definitely not a fan favorite here. I had a different vision of pot pie, which this was not it rather it was the fact on the salty side from me. I normally wouldn't go on about hash browns but these were REALLY good! The thing that held the quiche back from being great was that there wasn't a whole lot of crab meat. Lauren had the Breakfast Burrito, added sausage to it and asked for a side of Pico which is something she learned from a previous visit. She's had this burrito before and loves it. She was going on and on about how much she loves it today as well. She actually said "I wish this place was closer to our house because we'd be here way more often" to which I replied "yeah but we have University Diner right by our house, so we're not hurting". Which leads me to a very funny situation: A gentleman showed up at our table like 30 seconds later and said "Hi, I hear you guys go to University Diner? Do you know Andrew? He's my son". We were like "YES! We know Andy!" but the funnier thing was like Lauren had a revelation and said "OH! THAT'S why I love this breakfast burrito so much!"
