Stopped in for Easter brunch with our family and had a wonderful experience. We were sat quickly, our waitress was wonderful (I think her name was Kayla) and food came up quickly and accurately. My husband got the steak hash special which was delicious. My mom got the chickenchonga which was also really good and I had the BLTE which was good but I wish the bread was toasted. Restaurant was busy but well managed and outdoor area was shaded and had fans making it a great option for us with our almost 1 year old. Definitely recommend.

I had an excellent dining experience for breakfast . Our server Seth was super awesome. He made sure that our party of 11 was taken care of . All of our dishes were made to order and the overall location was roomy and we were all comfortable and well accommodated. A great day to begin the morning with an awesome staff and fulfilling tasty dishes.

My friend and I came here for breakfast this morning hoping to see Mark however we learned he was transferred as a manager training for another store. We then had the distinct privilege of getting to meet Seth! I have to commend First Watch for having such an outstanding customer centered server. Seth greeted us with a smile, was friendly, polite, kind, and most professional. He maintained an excellent sense of humor and should be commended for his approach to customer service. I tried the new chicken hash spring collection dish and I have to say it was excellent! My friend had the carrot cake pancakes, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Just said they were too big. The restaurant has always was clean. Staff was friendly and should be a role model for others.

We stopped in on a Tuesday mid-morning following a late night football game. Service was a bit slow, but our server was very attentive, just very busy. We ordered the kids French Toast, Breakfast Tacos, the Farmhouse Hash, Lemon Ricotta pancakes and the Million Dollar bacon. This was way more food than we should have ordered. The kids meal was enough for an adult, well almost. But my husband and I could definitely have split the tacos. The pancakes are massive, but the menu warned us. Everything had such great flavor. Overall the food was great! When you arrive someone will seat you, but they didn't have a designated hostess, so some people had to wait a bit. I assume on the weekends there is a hostess. I think they were simply staffed for a regular Tuesday, not one following Monday Night Football. But even though we waited a little longer than normal our food was great (and correct) and the staff was attentive and friendly. We'll be back!

Bay Meadows is where it's at! This is my favorite location to grab brunch. Have a great outdoor outdoor patio and plenty of indoor seating. Everything is always clean fresh and inviting. I love their local coffee, which says a lot because I am a coffee snob. A carrot pancake was so delightful with tons of raisins and fresh carrots throughout. Love the maple syrup in the no drip bottle. Egg was poached to perfection and the fresh fruit was on point sweet and ripe.

I love First Watch! Such a great place for breakfast or lunch-and lots of healthy options! Today, I had the smoked fritatta but in the last have had avocado toast. I liked the avocado toast better, but the fritatta was good. The fresh, healthy juices are a great treat. The hibiscus holiday punch was the best. We all really enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent.

First watch did amazing again. I got their coffee which comes locally and is very delicious. I got the traditional breakfast and the eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon is thick and crispy. The carrot cake pancake was huge and tasted like the real thing for the fresh fruit. I got grapes and black areas which I love and sourdough toast. It's very trendy and modern inside and they have a patio outside if you want fresh air. Everything came out in a timely manner and the server checked on us throughout our visit. They have an updated menu for the spring and I can't wait to try it

This is one of my go to brunch places, I love their Belgian waffles it's always fresh. I think I only had to send it back one time because it wasn't hot. My butter didn't melt when that was brought to the table. But they quickly corrected. The matter. Service is always pretty decent if there's an issue with the food, they always fix it with a smile. I do appreciate that. It's pretty casual in there so people come in there after church, or after they get out from the gym, so that's kind of a come as you are type of place when you just don't feel like cooking. I do like that you can get a sangria there with your brunch so that's always nice. I idea that like that they change up their menu on occasion with seasonal items. I give this place overall a 8/10.

Very busy but service was good waitress friendly and attentive food was good something's burnt or cold and missing so many people hard to hear but we know how things are when busy.

I have had mixed experiences here. I continue to return because they have fun items that you can't get anywhere and when it is cooked correctly, it is pretty good. However, pretty much every time I have gone, there has been some type of issue either with my dish or someone else's in my group. I usually go with 3-4 people and each time something goes wrong. I have ordered the skillet hash's and there was one time where the egg which I always ask for over medium was not cooked. I mean the whites were raw and everyone at the table agreed there was no way to eat it. I asked for them to be remade and it came back the same way. The waiter told us there was new kitchen staff and they were sorry. I'm sorry but there is no excuse for serving severely undercooked eggs twice. Another time, we had three people order breakfast and one order a salad. 20 minutes after the breakfast came out, the salad hadn't so we asked the server and she kept saying it was coming. It was a salad.....It took a half hour to get the salad after our breakfast was delivered so by the time the salad came, our breakfasts were cold. Another time, the potatoes were raw, just not okay. And last time they were out of alternative to pork sausages which sucked because someone in our group doesn't eat pork. They were out of the turkey and chicken. We were sitting back by the kitchen and they waited until our orders came out to tell the person they were out of sausage and hadn't even started making her meal until she was told so once again, we waited another 10 minutes for her meal to come out and ours got cold. It feels like you have to be rude to the people in your group if you want fresh food. Also, before they brought the order, we could see our orders just sitting in the window for over 5 minutes while it cooled. It wasn't busy. The staff were just talking. It feels like there is always something.

I ordered from the Dynamic Duo (sandwich & soup combo) menu. I picked the Reuben and Chicken Tortilla Soup because it's been a minute since I've had either. The Reuben was good with my one critique being that I could've used a little more Thousand Island on it. The soup was good as well and not too spicy. I always order Chicken Tortilla and hope for the best because I've had it swing way past my threshold for heat but this didn't. It has a kick for sure but not too bad. My wife ordered the Hot Honey Chicken & Yolk Biscuit Sandwich. She really liked it with the biscuit itself exceeding what she expected. Like me, her only small issue with that she liked that hot honey so much, she would've liked a little more on it. That's something she knows to ask for next time though, so no biggie. We sat at the bar and service was great from everyone we interacted with. This was out third time here since they opened. My wife pointed out that she liked her first visit and this one better than the second. She had a regular platter the second time, so she thinks sticking with their specialties is the best way to go. To start there's a whole lot more outdoor seating than there is indoor seating. Well inherently that's not a problem. I just found it unique. The staff was extremely nice at least our waitress was and overall no problem with the actual service we received. It was really well decorated. In fact, I would say arguably better decorated than some of the other locations for this particular chain that we have gone to. But the reason that it's only getting two stars instead of my typical five is the food. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and frankly when you're in the south that's something that should be a staple- this was a complete mess. There was either too much salt or too much pepper or maybe both? Which really left a lackluster taste I didn't even get through the first half of one of my biscuits. Biscuits seemed standard frozen biscuit fair for a breakfast establishment, unfortunately. And it's a vast contrast to some of the other places that used to be in Jacksonville or still are like Cracker Barrel or Village Inn- heck even Famos Amos has/had better biscuits and gravy. But for the fact that I didn't put anything on my eggs, which were delicious. I shouldn't be leaving this place with heartburn, considering I had a milk based gravy. The former city grits now bacon Gouda grits were OK but also very salty. Maybe too much bacon grease in it? I'm not sure. My partner says that his Benedict a shrimp Benedict something that's supposed to be there special for the season, was extremely sweet and the cherry tomatoes that he got were the most savory thing on his dish and he had shrimp Benedict with a side of cheese grits. There shouldn't really have been anything sweet in that dish, except maybe the hollandaise sauce. We were hoping to rekindle a classic taste from a familiar chain from our previous residence and enjoy brunch this morning. Maybe it was an off day for this particular location and if that's the case OK. However, due to this experience, we may not actually come back here. Paying $73 including tip for food that I can make better at home is not really my idea of a great breakfast. Kids oj was over $4. Plus $8 for her food. She took three bites and ate the bacon. Not a hit for her either.

I probably would have never ordered the kimchi fries on my own. Sometimes kimchi can be fickle and really hit or miss. It was definitely a hit here. More on the sweet and tangy side but worked really well. Fries seasoned perfectly, and the pork belly cubed and cooked to perfection. Out of all of the times I've been to Wicked Barley, these fries have to be one of the best items I've had from there. Cheese curds were pretty basic. Tasted great, but nothing to write home about. If you like Cheese curds, you'll enjoy theirs. I originally had my eye on the jerk chicken wings and I was warned by the waitress and my friend that they are REALLY hot. Jerk chicken is generally one of those thats right on the borderline of too hot for me. To give you an idea, if you're familiar with Butthutt BBQ's jerk chicken, theirs is as far as I can go for spice level. So I switched it up to be safe, and I am glad I did. Sweet and sticky, these had really great flavor inside and out. Would definitely get these again in the future. Brought a couple home to the hubby and he seemed to enjoy them too, and he normally doesn't like, what he refers to as, "sweet meat". I had three different beers in my favorite tasting style, sour. I had the PB&J sour, the mango sour, and the orange cream sour. The orange cream was my favorite of the 3. We enjoyed the sounds of the band Splittone in the background and enjoyed the whole vibe of our meal. The bar was full, and people were shooting pool and playing darts. Tyler was the bartender again, and he remembered me. Then also the owner's son introduced himself to us. Such a good vibe here! I order a Quad, and it was on special for $4.99 a pint! Scored on that one! Also ordered the grilled cheese and sweet potato fries (I met to order the zucchini sticks) Next time! The Quad was great! I don't know why that grilled cheese was so freaking good! (it's just grilled cheese, right?) lol the sweet potato fries were also good but let me tell you about that made from scratch ranch dressing! Hidden valley ain't got nothing on this Ranch Dressing! It took those sweet potatoes fries to the next level They do run out of items, so make sure you have a 2nd option in mind! They also make from scratch, pretzels and perogies. If your Vegetarian they have: The grilled cheese, Gringo Nachos and Potato Perogies Tyler also said you can bring in food from other establishments.
