We love First Watch and usually end up stopping by monthly. I've primarily stuck with ordering breakfast foods but recently started trying some of the lunch options. While I LOVED the Ham and Gruyère melt, it was nicely toasted but cold :(. It wasn't warm, like at all. The flavor was still amazing though so I ate it as is. The salad was also surprisingly flavorful! I was able to save half for a leftover lunch and can't wait to order it again sometime. I needed a to-go cup to and had to go track one down from the host stand while waiting a long time for our food. My child got the kids half waffle. I always wish it was a full size waffle since they love to order the waffle but usually get hungry shortly after since it's half and it comes with the teeny condiment size fruit cup unlike some other kids menu items. Usually even the teeny cup is filled quite a bit but today it was 3 pineapple pieces and one grape . The bacon was really soft and not crispy so it wasn't eaten. The drink came without a straw, so I had to go get one from the host stand since our server didn't stop back by until the food was brought out and I didn't have any luck getting their attention before then. The most annoying part today was being a charged a new "packaging supplies" fee on a to-go order for another family member. I know it's only $.50 but to me, that's the cost of doing food business and wasn't disclosed before ordering. Today's whole experience would have been rated even lower, especially compared to my other visits if it hadn't been lifted up by how great my meal tasted and the fact that we usually love to come here. Went to First Watch in Nocatee and had an overall decent experience. The restaurant is clean and has a professional, welcoming atmosphere. It's clearly a popular spot. Our server was a bit slow, but to her credit, she acknowledged it and stayed courteous throughout. Service didn't feel neglected, just stretched due to how busy it was. As for the food, it was okay. Sadly Wednesday 4/29 at First Watch was a deal breaker for me. Arrived about 1pm. Waited nearly 4-5 minutes while people were checkout and no one to seat me on a lunch break. No problem ordered after about another 7 minutes. Place seemed disorganized and to who was my actual server. In my order I asked for a side of "extra crispy snap in half bacon". It took nearly 12-15 minutes for food. My bacon, limp and flimsy. I went inside today because when I order pick up regardless if I Check the crispy box - it never is. Worst of all it took me flagging down a server and when they asked to get me crispy bacon the cook went off. You could hear him mouthing off all the way across I was seated at window by outside tables. I finished my meal. Bacon never came. I waited to get bill. I had to stand up to get someone's attention. I asked her to take off bacon. Further yelling by cook ensued. I went to the register to pay. The gal brought the bacon to go. I opened it. Smashed crushed like the cook threw and picked up off the floor. I thought I'll grab the card and let the manager know. Sadly I left a voicemail and text with a picture of the bacon. This place was dirty. The bathrooms were dirty. The silverware was so filthy that we had to get it replaced. The food was bland and cold when it arrived and I ordered easy food off of the sides menu: hash browns (not cooked all the way) eggs scrambled were cold. I gave it 2 stars because the server was polite and the coffee was decent. I've given First Watch more than enough chances, and I'm officially done. Let's start with the so-called "check-in ahead" feature--it's completely misleading. You think you're getting in line, but they don't actually add you to the queue until you physically arrive. What's the point? This last visit was the final straw. After we ordered, we sat for 45 minutes without a single check-in from our waitress. Eventually, someone came by just to tell us the kitchen was severely backed up and it would be a long time before food came out. That's information we should've been told before ordering, not after we've already committed to the wait. When the food finally did arrive, it was mediocre at best--definitely not worth the premium prices they charge. I've been here several times, and unfortunately, the service and experience have been consistently horrendous. I won't be coming back, and I'd strongly suggest you avoid this place too. We arrived it was very disorganized inside, we wew seated quickly outside and it took over 10minutes for someone to come to our table countless waitresses walked by our table looked and said nothing. No water, nothing. Finally we asked a waitress passing by, we asked who was going to take our order, she was ready to take it then said. " oh never mind it's this table behind you that I am hosting." Then here we were waiting another ten minutes to be told a guy was our waiter, 5 more minutes and another girl comes to inform us she was helping him. Food took forever and was cold. Always a long wait at the busy Nocatee location but once you are seated things move along. The servers are always friendly & accommodating. This time there were 3 in our party. We ordered the following : lemon ricotta pancakes/ 1 large pancake with lemon cream and strawberries on top ( pic also has eggs and sausage added). Friend really enjoyed it. Next was French toast which was 2 slices of French toast sprinkled with powdered sugar also voted very good. I had the avocado toast with 2 eggs over. I do not like my eggs loose and runny and our server made sure mine was done medium well. She actually remembered me & that I can't stand my eggs loose, lol. The dish was delicious, served as a thick slice of grain toast cut in half topped with smashed avocado and topped with 2 eggs. Overall, our experience here was very good however, FW really should make their dishes look more appealing with some sort of garnish. The big plates come out looking quite empty and naked. A little slice of fruit or a little salad or even a slice of tomato would make their dishes look more appetizing. read more

I love the service and atmosphere but please don't order their wedding soup (tastes like it's progress soup (canned) the club sandwich had wax paper in it. Overall they get a C+ because they were kind enough to take it off my bill. The staff is awesome and I will come back because I think it's happens sometimes that everything isn't perfect. I haven't been to First Watch since before the pandemic. One of the things I really miss is getting breakfast at a restaurant and sitting down to eat. Since we drove past this location multiple times and saw that they had outside seating, we jumped at the chance to have a late breakfast. The outdoor patio wasn't crowded, which was nice. Our waiter (sorry, I can't remember his name, but was a young man with blondish hair), was super friendly. He came over and took our drink orders and promptly brought out some hot coffee and a milk for the kiddo. After looking at the menu we opted to order the following: For me: breakfast tacos with potatoes, my mom: trifecta, for the kiddo: pancake with a piece of sausage. We waited literally less than 15 minutes for our food. While we were waiting I popped inside to have a look. I love the new interior of First Watch. So farmhouse chic. Our food came out piping hot. The waiter also asked if we needed any sauces like hot sauce, ketchup, etc. They no longer are offering a bottle of ketchup (I'm assuming due to covid), but are giving you little cups of ketchup. My tacos were good, the eggs were fluffy, the chorizo was a tad spicy, and the avocado was fresh. The potatoes were also a little crispy, which is my preference. The kiddo liked his pancake, but also said that the sausage was soooooo delicious. Verdict? We'll be back. First Watch, one of our favorite Brunch places to eat at. Me and the fam attended a soft opening of First Watch newest location in Nocatee. This location is slated to open on Monday (11.16.2020). My personal favorite item at First Watch is the Power Wrap, a regular menu item which I have ordered multitudes of time. It's a light and healthy wrap. Aside from the Power Wrap, I have been slowly venturing and trying other items. Today I decided to try something different, The Healthy Turkey. It was delicious in it's own right. What makes First Watch special for me are their ever changing menu items, especially their Seasonal Menus. They change it up from time to time. One problem however, some of those Seasonal Menu items are really, so good and delicious, that it takes forever to get reintroduced. The Shrimps and Grits at First Watch ARE THE BEST I've ever had. It's been awhile back ago since I've had it....and I'm still waiting for its comeback. Hint, hint...please First Watch, bring it back. The other Seasonal Items I have tried has been on point delicious as well. Special shout-out to our supreme server, Lauren. She was awesome and attentive. So happy to have a breakfast spot so close! We usually have good service and there are relatively healthy options for breakfast. We love the millionaires bacon - it's a must try. A few years back at another location, they served the bacon a bit thicker but it is still very satisfying. My husband usually goes for the Bacado omelet and enjoys how there's a nice Tex Mex flavor profile but not overly done to where there's too much spice or oil. My favorite is the quinoa and sausage power bowl. It's got a boost of healthy carbs to get the day started right and is very balanced in taste. We've never had bad service at this location. My food was really disappointing. My eggs were just warm, English muffin rubbery with a glob of melted margarine on it. My fruit was only tiny grapes, melon, and a piece of pineapple. I was given potatoes on the side I never ordered. The coffee creamer choices were only vanilla and hazelnut. I really just wanted half and half. No one stopping to ask if we needed anything, and we couldn't get their attention. My husband was ok with his pancake, and his eggs were scrambled and looked ok. Great service as always! Super fast getting seated( we made a reservation but thought for sure it would still be a long wait) especially since we had 7 adults and 4 kids! Disappointing today. First Watch has been my restaurant to go to for a healthy, dependable, meal to satisfy everyone in the family. I have been to First Watch several times in Orlando and South Florida and always been very happy with the meal. This time was the exception, the eggs did not look good, they were overcooked and not fluffy as usual in the traditional breakfast. The potatoes had quite a bit of oil in them and the bread was slathered with butter. Also, I ordered the Power Wrap which I returned because the first bite I could taste something sour in the wrap, possibly cheese or maybe the sauce?
