Great experience. It was a tad noisy inside so we ate on the patio. My 3 egg custom omelet was awesome and I have the home fries inside it. Grits were perfect. Love the Metro-Farmhouse vibe.

It was our first time in Grumpys...seems very popular and keep in mind there is a decent wait 30mins or so if you plan to go at least over the weekend. You will get coffee whilst you wait tho! Kam our server was great and food was pretty good. Coffee is nice and not on the strong side which I like personally.

Wonderful local breakfast and lunch establishment. Suzana did an outstanding job taking care of us. The ambiance is social gathering and spaces for couples also. The food has excellent flavor and the coffee is exceptional.

Despite us going during a busy time, their method for keeping guests queued was fairly put together! Keep in mind, their intercom only projects to the breezeway outside the front door, so if you're waiting inside, keep an eye on the hostess stand. With it being as cold as it sporadically has been, the outside seating was delightfully warmed to keep us comfortable throughout our experience; I almost took off my jacket even! We placed our orders for a split-plate style experience and our dishes were perfectly suited for this. However, it seems that the request for two Au Jus' was a bit of a curveball for them, as the plates arrived 5 minutes after the mains were delivered to the table. Drinks will help that, though, and the Cold Brew Cocktails were wonderful and not overly sweet with our request of light whipped cream (: Once everything came together, it was ready set go! This was my first visit to any Grumpy's location and boy was I sold! The vegetable medley was so surprisingly refreshing with the addition of cooked cabbage. As the spice hound that I am, the Fried Chicken Benedict was a light heat, but ever so pleasant. The green bean side sang to my southern heart with the addition of a savory bacon presence and note. If you're all about sauce, maybe request more of the Spicy Hollandaise, as that did seem to be on the lighter side. The French dip was an absolute winner for me though! The Au Jus was absolutely DRINKABLE; the perfect blend of bold and comforting for this sandwich. Wait staff was warm and present throughout and I have no complaints, as it seems there's one server per the entire porch-side. Overall 10/10 will visit again!

Finally tried Grumpy's on a Sunday morning. Super busy and people lined up inside and outside even with the pouring rain. The wait wasn't too bad for two people. Got seated at their outside covered patio. Even with it busy, our server was attentive and checked in multiple times and refilled my coffee at least 3 times. I ordered Grumpy's big breakfast with pumpkin pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage links and grits with cheese. It came with coffee. The pumpkin pancakes were delicious without all the stuff they topped it with. I don't like candy corn and didn't think it was necessary so I scraped it off. The eggs were decent and the grits were tasty. I added salt and pepper to both. Sausages were just ok, nothing special. Love the diner vibes and menu options. Will go again to try other items!

Grumpy's Restaurant in St. Johns, FL is a solid breakfast spot . I ordered the fried chicken Benedict--flavorful overall, though the chicken was slightly bitter this time. The pancake, however, completely stole the show: fluffy, golden, and delicious! . The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and bright, with high ceilings that make it feel comfortable and open. Friendly service and a strong breakfast menu make Grumpy's a go-to for brunch lovers .

Order the giant pancake for the table, so fun! I wanted one of everything from the menu. The fresh squeezed OJ is a game changer! Very entertaining sitting at the bar watching to communication among the kitchen and front of house. Awesome local spot!

Clean restaurant, decent food and great service. We sat outside as the indoor seating was pretty crowded. My fried green tomato Benedict was very good though the hollandaise was a wee bit broken. Still was delicious. My husband ordered a standard breakfast plate with over light eggs. It arrived with hard scrambled eggs but to the waitress' credit, she ordered an over light even though my husband said not to worry about it. Great service here. We will return if we're ever in the area again.

We came in a busy time, it's Sunday 11:18am, it is packed! Everyone looks like they are having a great time in this joint! The employees are on point, chefs are communicating with their servers the servers are communicating with their chefs! It's awesome to see! Now just waiting on food. Okay so I had a plate that had 2 over and easy egg's, 3 bacon slices, hash browns, 2 blueberry pancakes with condiments. I also had a mimosa ( freshly squeezed orange juice and champagne ) Everything was heaven!! My husband had the grumpy omelette with an extra side of bacon, and two biscuits with gravy ( gravy was white with meat sausages). This is a definite must try if you have not tried it!!!

Third time is a charm!! Went with the family for a late lunch Sunday after church. The kids had the kids chicken and waffles and chocolate chip pancakes... they loved every single bite of their food!! The adults ordered Philly cheesesteaks, liver and onions, country fried steak and everything was well seasoned, hot and tasty! As always their freshly squeezed orange juice was AMAZING! The owner came to our table and we had a great conversation about how he started up the business and how he supports his staff members and cares for them. He even asked the kids if they were on the nice or naughty list and told them he hoped they get everything they wished for. Definitely worth giving it an another shot! Forgot to take pictures of the food... next time :)

Eva was an amazing waitress! The kitchen could follow instructions that she writes on the ticket like when you say well done hashbrowns, and they are still raw in the middle. There are not well done. Poor Eva went back to them twice about these hashbrowns and they were still raw in the middle. Yeah, avocado toast is mostly toast with very little avocado. I would recommend that you skip that. The food is generally really good. It's just that the kitchen needs to pay attention, especially when you have to wait as long as you do at this restaurant and pay as much as you do at this restaurant.

Grumpy's is one of my go to brunch spots!! I love the Grumpy's Madd Breakfast wrap, but you can't go wrong ordering any of the classic breakfast items. There's always a wait for Sunday brunch but the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is always bright and lively. Definitely love coming here!

12 bucks and change, I couldn't believe how big those pancakes were. Great home fries great amount of bacon it was all good

My favorite place because of the home fries. Came in and sat at a small booth at 9 o'clock on Tuesday and waited and waited and waited plenty of staff and a few customers. Finally got up, went to the counter and got served. Then they handed me the wrong order, and then the order I ordered took quite a bit of time for so few people today, bad day except for (Maddie? ) my server at the counter. I asked for 2 eggs but I got 3, no idea if I paid for it or not.? There's a lot of breakfast places to choose from, let's tighten it up over here!

We stopped here, at this location, late one night with some friends and it was so nice to find a place that served food and drinks later in the evening. Service was a little slow but in fairness there were only 3 or 4 front of house staff working that evening including the bartender. Now, this location has a slightly different menu than the one in Savannah but still has a few of their popular dishes such as the Treylor Park Nachos Grande, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, PB&J Wings, and Treylor Park Pot Pie! I always order the Treylor Park Nachos... it's a massive tray of waffle fries plus a healthy amount of toppings such as pickles, fried chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese with chive ranch & balsamic gastrique. I mean it's a meal of WAFFLE FRIES with enough for myself, to share, and leftovers for when I get home from the drive there! LOL! The Treylor Park Pot Pie is really good too. It's basically chicken pot pie filling in a fried burrito with some pico de gallo on top. My friends ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes... which she loved and was a first for me. Verdict: I liked them. This location is pretty good but it's still not quite as good as the original location; however, I would still recommend giving this place a try.

They made sure to let us know you can sit anywhere during Happy Hour and still get the specials where many restaurants limit it to a bar area. Rustica does a great job of Happy Hour. They have appetizers, cocktails, beer, Sake, wine, and even main course happy hour entrees too. I started off with a cocktail going for the Liliko Martini which I really enjoyed. I have really been into my Passion Fruit drinks lately. We of course had to get some of the Happy Hour appetizers too and we might have gone a little overboard but for sure worth it. We got: The Naan Bread Yellow Beet Salad Crispy Tofu Roasted Pork Belly Bao Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia Japanese Style Fried Chicken These were a great way to start off dinner and not one of them were $8 or less. If I had to pick favorites the best was for sure the Roasted Pork Belly Bao. I think it might have been the best Pork Belly Bao I had ever had. I was a large thick piece of Pork Belly but it just melted you your mouth and had so much flavor. We also very much enjoyed the Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia which were much bigger then expected. The Japanese Style Fried Chicken was great too and the BBQ Ranch took it to the next level. For my entree I went with the Basil Crusted Roasted Monkfish which came with Vietnamese Yellow Curry, Crispy Shrimp and veggies. The Monkfish was cooked perfectly. I had a great sear on it too which gave it a bit of a crunch. I know Monkfish can sometimes be intimidated people because it was pretty ugly looking but let me tell you if it's prepared like this you're going to love it. Some of the best fish I have had. The Vietnamese Yellow Curry paired very well with it too. Wasn't too heavy and didn't over power the fish but just added an extra boost of flavor. I know what you're thinking who could was possibly be hungry for dessert but it sounded good so we ordered the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee and the Yuzu Cheesecake. Both were light enough that we could still really enjoy them after all we had eaten. We really like that the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee also had bubble boba in it which we didn't expect. We had an amazing meal and for sure be coming back sooner rather then later.

I needed a to-go cup to and had to go track one down from the host stand while waiting a long time for our food. My child got the kids half waffle. I always wish it was a full size waffle since they love to order the waffle but usually get hungry shortly after since it's half and it comes with the teeny condiment size fruit cup unlike some other kids menu items. Usually even the teeny cup is filled quite a bit but today it was 3 pineapple pieces and one grape . The bacon was really soft and not crispy so it wasn't eaten. The drink came without a straw, so I had to go get one from the host stand since our server didn't stop back by until the food was brought out and I didn't have any luck getting their attention before then. The most annoying part today was being a charged a new "packaging supplies" fee on a to-go order for another family member. I know it's only $.50 but to me, that's the cost of doing food business and wasn't disclosed before ordering. Today's whole experience would have been rated even lower, especially compared to my other visits if it hadn't been lifted up by how great my meal tasted and the fact that we usually love to come here.
