My company and I LOVE First Watch! It's our go-to spot for work meetings, and the food and service are always great. Last week, the kitchen was backed up, so our order took a little longer than usual. A little while later, I got a random phone call. I answered, and it was Mark! He personally called to apologize for the delay and wanted to make things right. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it says a lot about the people behind the business. Thank you, Mark, and the entire First Watch team, for going above and beyond. God bless, and we'll definitely be back! -- JJ read more

Ambiance atmosphere is great, open and inviting! Service was just okay! We took a few minutes to look through the menu so our server decided to play MIA until we were super hungry! Egg Benedict with smoked salmon was good, fluffy and cooked perfectly. Purple haze tea was good, a bit sweet but overall not bad for morning iced tea. read more

First Watch - Egg Benedict - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

Fun fact, my husband isn't a big breakfast fan so we almost never go out to eat for breakfast in Jax. I however love going out to eat for breakfast so he usually will go out with me if we're out of town. This was a very rare occasion where I was in town, but he was out of town so I decided to take myself out for breakfast. I had a good book in hand and all I wanted to do was spend about an hour eating some delicious food so I looked no further than First Watch. I personally like First Watch it's not my favorite breakfast spot but its quality is consistent. I ordered several things while I was there from their seasonal menu and all of them were good again. None of them blew my mind, but they were quality items. I got a croissant breakfast sandwich, some donut holes, and a juice all of which I would order again. At one point, something fell on the ground at another table and the staff was so quick to clean it up that they really didn't draw attention to the situation and I didn't even notice until it was almost all cleaned up that anything had ever happened, which really impressed me. I mean it is very loud in first watch usually so I also probably didn't hear it happen because of all the noises, if you've ever been to a First Watch you know. read more

My husband and I are big fans of First Watch. I think we have been to all of their Jacksonville locations. My go-to meals here are BLTE, Market Veggie, Power Breakfast Quinoa and Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowls. Their seasonal menu of Shrimp and Grits is also another favorite, I wish they would just permanently add them in their regular menu. I would also prefer larger portions in their power bowls as I am still hungry after lol. Although there maybe times that we had to wait, once seated, service is quick. Great spot for brunch, and they even offer BOGO deals on your birthday! Just sign up on their website! read more

We really enjoyed this location. When we arrived we sat away. We didn't wait long for our server and the food came out quickly. I got the seasonal BEC and that was really tasty! The only slight hiccup was that since it was sourdough bread I had very conflicting sizes of bread depending on what side I picked it up from. I got the new pineapple drink and it was really refreshing. My husband got the pesto chicken quinoa bowl and enjoyed it. We will be back. read more

Love coming here. I have come by myself, with my son, family brunch, it has something for everyone! Very family friendly. It can get very busy. Pro Tip: go on the website and get on the waiting list on busy days ON YOUR WAY THERE. You get in front of everyone walking through the door. Just checking when you get there. Wait will then be 5-10 min. There is also a community table when you first come in. Anyone can sit there if seats available. Like a bar. Everything on the menu is amazing. Get one of their morning sunrise. It's delicious! Great service and quality food!! Never leave hungry. read more

We went for brunch at First Watch today and had a great experience from start to finish. Even though they were busy, we only waited a couple of minutes to be seated. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, the food came out quickly, and everything was delicious. The omelettes were fresh and flavorful, and the pancakes were excellent. Efficient service, great food, and a pleasant atmosphere--exactly what you want for brunch. We'll definitely be back. read more

My friend brought me here for my birthday. I was so delighted with the delicious food, and our incredible server, Madeline! They were relatively busy, however, she checked in on us frequently, and even brought me a birthday surprise! Thank you Madeline, and First Watch, and my friend, Kathy, of course, for making my birthday special! I'll be back soon! read more

The staff was friendly, the place was full but our server was very fast with with getting drinks and the food came out just as fast. I get the Chickichanga every time even when I have the intent to switch it up. It just never disappoints, the flavors pop, the potatoes are delicious, and the morning meditation is refreshing and rejuvenating read more

Another amazing breakfast at First Watch. It just doesn't get any better than this. Everything on the menu is delicious and cooked fresh.

Indulging in fall flavors with friends at First Watch: Harvest hash, fresh coffee, French toast and a hearty Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl. Protein-packed quinoa, roasted mushrooms, kale, and more, topped with Parmesan and lemon white balsamic dressing. Plus the Harvest Hash a brunch worth savoring! They did not have the Fall Seasonal pumpkin pancakes which we went for. So we got the Banana Granola Almond Crunch multigrain Pancake instead. The potatoes were kind of very salty for my taste. The service was quick and friendly. The place was very busy for a weekend morning breakfast hour had to wait for a while. read more

We love First Watch. It is always our go to for breakfast. Saturday morning we expected to be busy. But we got seated pretty quickly. It was a celebration for my 75th birthday. The fall pancakes were amazing and the chicken and apple sausage were delicious. I also need to congratulate Trinity for making this BD breakfast so special, she was very attentive and very professional. We will ask for her the next time we visit our favorite restaurant!! Congratulations to Trinity and the First Watch team!!! Should be 10 stars!! read more

This review is mainly for the service. Me and a couple of my friends usually go to the first watch on argyle, but I recently started going to this first watch and it did not disappoint! Our server Alyssa was extremely attentive and so kind. Our food came out in great time with everything how we were wanting it to come out. Can't wait to go back, and definitely asking for her again! read more

Lylah was really great. Service with a smile and a very pleasant spirit. The trifecta is good but just enough to put on your stomach. The French toast was so fluffy and delicious. The stop was nice and hot. Eggs were fluffy. Bacon was very crispy. Nice music and enjoyable seating on the patio if it's too cold inside. If you like Shirley temples try a spirit with blackberry syrup. So delicious! read more

Food is superior, the coffee goes very well w/breakfast. Team is kind & doesn't miss a lick, you must give this fine institution a try!

The food is good. The company is okay. Would recommend in a pinch. Not the best thing around

We love this plaza because it has SO much in here but this is a favorite breakfast spot! We got the million dollar bacon to start because if you're here - you have to get this!!! It's always seasoned to perfection with the perfect amount of spice. If you haven't tried it, please do! I got the egg sandwich with the runny egg & avocado which was really fresh and tasty. I'm not a huge fan of their breakfast potato's but the grits were so yummy!! We went around 1030am on a Sunday and there was no wait but anything past this time on a Sunday there will be a wait due to the many churches around. read more

Went for breakfast after fasting for 24 hours. It was me and my daughter. Sat down quickly a waiter came by quickly and food came out quickly. Waiter Jared was very good attentive, friendly and got us what we wanted right away. I wasn't in a hurry but liked the fact it was busy and we were well attended. The place is always clean. The men's bathroom was out of order and it said to use the handicap bathroom. Only one stall in each bathroom Now the food the avocado toast was very good. My yogurt tasted like any yogurt granola bowl and was $11.49. My daughter had a Kale Tonic drink plus a trad w/meat and left more than half of the potatoes. She said it was too rich. Why the 4 stars, $63.54 for breakfast was too steep in my opinion. I also don't like to wait the line to pay after our meals. If you have bad timing you will wait a while. In closing good food and service but too pricey to come back. read more

Busy? Yes. Fast orders? Yes. Tasty and delicious variety of food for all ages and appetites? Yes. Amazing lighting, atmosphere and comfortable temp store vs outside the restaurant? Absolutely. First watch always has some of the best combinations of drinks from their juice bar. The Floridian French toast was super tasty and I enjoyed the fruit on it. You can never really go wrong with First Watch! I mean what it not to love? Breakfast, brunch, or lunch- they have everything from healthy to comfort food. One thing I absolutely love is the check in options you can do to avoid a long wait. Their pressed juices are delicious! My daughter and I had the blueberry booster today. I have a massive sweet tooth but when I am at First Watch I tend to go savory and not had a meal disappoint. I ordered the Baja chicken burrito bowl that taste amazing with the fried egg mixing with the gains and black beans. When we have guest visiting this is one of our go to spots read more

This First Watch location never misses. The service is top notch, the food is always excellent, and the juices and coffee are delicious. First Watch, one of our favorite Brunch places to go eat at. And this is one of my favorite locations to go to because it's of course close to home, plus the staff here are outstanding. I've never had a bad experience yet. My personal favorite item is the Power Wrap, a regular menu item which I have ordered multitudes of time. It's a light and healthy wrap. Pair that up with some of their house made coffee and I am set to go for the day. Aside from the Power Wrap, I have, however been slowly venturing and trying other items. What makes First Watch special for me are their ever changing menu items, especially their Seasonal Menus. They change it up from time to time. One problem however, some of those Seasonal Menu items are really sooo good and delicious, that it takes forever to get reintroduced. The Shrimps and Grits at First Watch ARE THE BEST I've ever had. It's been awhile back ago since I've had it....and I'm still waiting for its comeback. Hint, hint...please First Watch, bring it back. The other Seasonal Items I have tried has been on point delicious as well. Other than that, keep doing what you're doing First Watch, and I will loyally keep coming back for more and more. read more

I thought that the service as well as the cleanliness/ambiance of this restaurant was very good. We were able to get in the quick at about 8:30am on a Saturday too. I was a bit disappointed by the food. I got the BLT Benedict. It was very lemon-y and then the bread it was on was half burnt. I did let the waitress know at the end and showed her and she apologized but that was it. My husband got the breakfast tacos which he said was okay. The eggs were a bit over cooked and then he noticed black spots on his avocado so he stopped eating at that point. With that all said, we probably won't be back here again. read more

First Watch - Traditional breakfast. Two caged free eggs, chicken sausage patties, seasoned potatoes & toast. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

This location keeps shorting our meals. I recently moved to the area but visit all first watch locations and advised the manager of the issue. Went two more times and I'm done visiting this location. The last visit they rushed us up out of there and gave us a market hash that was not fresh even the waiter said it doesn't look right and had to take it back. Food is trash.
