The food is decent but the reason for 4 stars is the price. It is just insanely expensive. We love to go out for breakfast and we love brunch and we just wanted a nice little outing. However, my breakfast sandwich with a very tiny side of fruit was $16. My daughter ordered a kids meal and a drink which was around $11... It's just crazy for two people to go out for breakfast is almost $30 before tip. I did not even allow myself to get coffee because the menu prices were just so high, which was a bummer. The value just isn't there for what you're paying. I will say service was good but again the pricing was just frustrating. Their portions are on the smaller side so there's not even like a really expensive meal with a little bit of leftovers to stretch it out.

The FOOD WAS GREAT! The SERVICE FELL WAY SHORT. As a YELPer I pride myself in being pretty fair and try to make my reviews line up with the score and I try to assume the best even when an experience falls short. With that said, this should have been a 5 all day long but the service was abysmal. I started to give it a 3 but that seems too harsh. Things started out great. The young man sat me and another server grabbed my coffee but then I got handed off to another server. She took my order but never came back. Someone else brought me my food, another took my empty plate, the other cashed me out (after waiting 20 minutes for her to come back and maybe refill my coffee). That said, the Chicken Tinga Omelette was one of the best things I have ever eaten for breakfast. Omelette was cooked perfectly, chicken was marinated, shredded and delicious. Served over seasoned black beans and topped with cotija cheese. It was great. It is the only reason the review is a 4 and not a 3 but had the service been marginally better it would have been a 5 hands down!

Canopy Road had been on my list to try for so long, and we finally made it in. Lowlight- the cinnamon roll didn't live up to the hype. The donut holes more than made up for it though, and the rest of our food did too. With my savory brunch fare I was wishing for a Bloody Mary, but they do have mimosas. I stuck with coffee. There's more I want to go back and try.

My experience here wasn't great. We went midmorning on a Saturday and seemed to arrive at a good time when only a handful of tables were filled. As we were there, though, the place definitely seem to get busier. We reviewed the menu and asked about a children's menu, which they ended up having. Although it wasn't in print, our waitress knew that the options included French toast sticks, a Mickey pancake, Canopy Road breakfast with toast/eggs/meat, grilled cheese sandwich, hamburger/cheeseburger, and chicken tenders. Fries were included with the lunch options. We started with the cinnamon roll and ordered the Mexican omelette that had chorizo, pepper, jack and cheddar cheeses, onions, peppers, and was supposed to be top with pico de gallo and micro cilantro. We also got another omelette that we built and the kids hamburger with fried. The cinnamon roll came out quickly and shortly after, the entrées arrived. I first noticed that the kids burger had cheese on it, though we had ordered a hamburger. They took the cheeseburger and fries back. Later on, they brought out a hamburger with no fries, saying that the fries would be coming. The hamburger ended up having butter on the bun and had to be sent back for just a plain bun due to a dairy allergy. They brought the bun back quickly and we waited on the fries. The omelettes were just ok. The chorizo was definitely overcooked and hard, the cheese was concentrated on one side of the omelette, and the omelettes were not fluffy. They both appeared quite simple. I would say that the pluses about this place were that the biscuit was good, the cinnamon roll was delicious, and the fruit was fresh. The omelettes were nothing more impressive than what could be made at home and when both adults were done, we were still waiting on the kid's meal fries. When we asked for the bill, we shared with the waitress that the fries never came. She inquired about whether we wanted to wait longer on the fries or take the burger off the bill. This was surprising to me as most places would've just suggested taking it off the bill given that it was made incorrectly and the fries never arrived. She asked us our preference and opted to take it off the bill. She then proceeded to take the burger (which was uneaten) away as well. I wouldn't say that this was excellent customer service. I'm not sure that this is a place that I would return to. I found most of the food relatively average and the customer service was just OK.

Definitely gone downhill for delivery orders. Not enough food given and feeling like we got less food for more money/upgrades

One of the things about Canopy that I love most is the regulars. I think it speaks a lot about the business to have repeat customers and to see the familial banter with workers. It's a beautiful thing! Went for a late breakfast so didn't have the usual longer wait, just a quick 5-10 mins until we were seated. Service was friendly and attentive. Received our food fairly quickly, too. I don't get to come here often but when I do, I always enjoy what I order. Today was no different. Just went with basic breakfast orders: the hasher and canopy road special. First time trying the hasher upon raving reviews from a few friends. It was ok. I think my expectations were high, and while I liked the cook on the hash (crispy), I don't believe it was homemade corned beef - please correct me if I'm wrong. And I'm not a fan of the canned stuff. Regardless, still enjoyed breakfast and will keep Canopy Road on the breakfast spot rotation.

Ive been here a few times and each time I've had no complaints. I really like a Canopy Road Cafe. Ideal for simple breakfast date if you want to chill and chat for a bit. Service is always very very good, the servers are always in a good mood and atmosphere is great. Their seasonal pumpkin pancake is quite a treat. I highly recommend!

Came back to Canopy after not going for awhile and was very interested when I saw that their menu had been updated. I also noticed that they now has seasonal specials and luckily for me one of them really stood out to me , the Short Rib Benedict. If you know me you know I love short ribs and that I'm a sucker for different types of benedicts. Unlucky for me though that were currently out of it. So I went with my back up benedict which always has been Crab Cakes Benedict. The Crab Cakes Benedict comes with Two tender crab cakes atop sautéed spinach on grilled ciabatta with two basted eggs covered in creamy hollandaise, pico de gallo, scallions and Old Bay seasoning. Now I opted for no spinach of course and home fries for my side since Ashley is always known to get hash browns. Our food came out in about 10 minute and my crab cakes were nice and large. They were pretty tasty but not the best crab cakes benedict I have had. Metro has been doing their best to keep that title. I was also a big fan of the home fries were I believe are deep fried and not pan fried so you get crispier potatoes. Ashley got the Southern Benedict which comes with A split buttermilk biscuit topped with pimento cheese, fried green tomatoes, sausage patties and two basted eggs then covered in creamy hollandaise sauce. This was going to be my third pick had there been no Crab Cakes Benny so that at least really worked out. Can't go wrong with Pimento Cheese on anything especially when you got fried green tomatoes. This was also very good. Will for sure be coming for often to Canopy now since we are now in the middle of 2. Just gotta make sure you get there early because they full up fast but you once seated you are pretty much in and out within 30 minutes.

... well. This is more of a service to those who love to order corned beef hash. If you're going to serve Hormel canned corned beef, and have the nerve to put that on the receipt but not on the menu, do it. The audacity to charge $14 for a quarter of a can of Hormel is asinine. Grits could use some love. Toast proper stale. Cream cheese served in a packet. Overall do not recommend. The server even admitted there have been so many issues with the cream cheese packets, she offered scissors. Server was great. Restaurant is clean. Host stand is in the corner tucked away and easy to miss upon entry. I've posted a photo of the meal in comparison to a different restaurant in town that charges the same amount. Overall, hard pass.

Breakfast dates are the best. We stopped by on our way from an early morning doctor appointment. The rave reviews are really worth the hype. From the outside this restaurant is small and unassuming; however, inside is the hustle and bustle of a true small town diner where everyone is framily. The staff is very friendly and the food is great with large portions. If I could only get the recipe for their cinnamon rolls I would never leave my house.

I always order Chicken Tortilla and hope for the best because I've had it swing way past my threshold for heat but this didn't. It has a kick for sure but not too bad. My wife ordered the Hot Honey Chicken & Yolk Biscuit Sandwich. She really liked it with the biscuit itself exceeding what she expected. Like me, her only small issue with that she liked that hot honey so much, she would've liked a little more on it. That's something she knows to ask for next time though, so no biggie. We sat at the bar and service was great from everyone we interacted with. This was out third time here since they opened. Thinking it was a hidden gem because we had never heard of it, we gave it a try. Sadly, it wasn't all we expected it to be. Once we found it hidden in the back of a small shopping center in World Golf Village, we went inside to an empty restaurant at what should've been a bustling lunchtime crowd. The restaurant had all of two employees working. The cashier/waitress asked us to seat ourselves and she brought us the menus. 5, yes FIVE, different things that we attempted to order were out of stock! How do you run a restaurant when 5 staple items are out of stock.... Hamburger patties, bacon, onion rings, and all fountain drinks including coke & dr. Pepper???? It quickly became obvious why the entire restaurant was empty! After we made alternative choices from the menu and received our meals, the waitress spent the entire time we were in her presence talking in the phone and to someone who seemed to be a regular patron that had come in after us to pick up a to-go order. I heard her say that 'today is my last day because I'm moving.' After hearing that, it made sense as to why she never came back to our table to see if we needed anything. We even had to request she bring our check so that we could pay the bill and leave. She was 'too busy' to notice we were finished & waiting.... The food that we got wasn't horrible.... Too bad the service wasn't that great. We most certainly did NOT receive a good first impression and likely won't give it a second try!
