I had the footlong hotdog plate with fries and my husband had the Snakebite Burger (with jalapeños and habanero cheese) and onion straws. We split the fries/onion straws at the table so we could each have some. Fries were perfect (well seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside). Onion straws were tasty and crispy. My husband said the burger was incredible, which is saying a lot because he is a burger snob. The chili on the hotdog was homemade deliciousness! Do yourself a favor and make a stop. They came with their own barbecue sauce, and the portion was just the right amount. My daughter ordered the buttered noodles and loved them too. I also thought the appetizer menu and the wood-fired pizza selection were a nice touch. I honestly expected it to be more expensive since it's located at a country club, but the prices were very reasonable. It wasn't overly crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. We entered the Cimarrone neighborhood, and the security guard at the front gate pointed us right to the restaurant. You don't have to be a member to visit this restaurant, there are different prices for members and non-members. As first time visitors, we were quickly welcomed at the reception area and seated had a very comfortable table with a view of the golf course, and opportunities to watch some sporting events on the handful of TVs that they have surrounding the restaurant / bar. Our server, Ava had a great energy and a bright smile, and delivered excellent service throughout. The menu is vast and diverse, I had some shrimp tacos which were excellent, along with a fresh iced tea - Ava Even brought a carafe of iced tea on the side so we could pour our own refills... Nice touch. Even at the non-member rate, the meal was quite affordable averaging just over $20 per person including meal, tip, tax. Views of the golf course are beautiful, the high ceiling dining room has a modern light fixture, it's just a beautiful spot overall. We visited the pro-shop and bought reasonably priced golf wear. I also noticed a screen that referenced Father's Day specials, so I'd anticipate they offer other specials during holiday times. My wife and I look forward to returning to this wonderful place.

There's a huge full service bar area and a spacious dining room for date night for two and large celebrations on their outside deck overlooking a lake brim full of turtles, fish, gators, birds and all kinds of native Florida wildlife set against views that capture all that's great about living in Northeast Florida. Really amazing! Our server, Susan, was outstanding! She's the one who makes the coleslaw whenever she's on schedule and it's absolutely delicious. I highly recommend. I went on Sunday with my family and we all got the special of about 20 shrimp anyway you like them cooked: fried, steamed or blackened for $16.99 (@ the time I'm writing this review). We all went for the fried shrimp dinner. I chose the fries as my other side and added the unlimited salad bar for just $2.99 more. The salad bar had everything I love about an AYCE salad buffet and it's definitely worth the add. 5-STARS for their classic ranch dressing! And the balsamic dressing, blue cheese dressing and French dressing was excellent, too. They offer a few others, but I didn't try them. I have to have ranch with my fries and I grabbed a bowl of it from the salad bar. I washed it all down with some of their classic Southern sweet tea and I was too full for the Key Lime Pie on special for the day. Next time... After our meal, we went out of the deck to feed the turtles, fish and other wildlife and snap some photos to share. Overall, it was a fantastic meal. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and fried. The service was fast, friendly and professional. And the scenery was truly gorgeous. Yea, I'm probably going to celebrate my birthday here this year.

I got here as they opened on Sunday, and it got packed relatively quickly. I'd recommend having a reservation if you're planning to visit during busier timeframes like this. I was seated promptly by attentive staff, and quickly had both food and drink menus to begin ordering. I was looking for something tasty without being too heavy, and settled on the Little Hans Vienna Lager along with the 8 oz steak burger and fries. The beer had amazing flavor similar to Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager with a good, crisp finish. The burger meal, described with "Tillamook cheddar cheese, caramelized onion & bacon jam, beef fat aioli, grilled potato roll, truffle fries", was arguablely the best burger and fries I've ever had in my life. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavor of the wood-fired grill certainly complemented the meat. The house-made pickles were a great touch to add another layer of complexity to the burger. I could tell the fries were fresh cut and never frozen. The truffle oil made these even more amazing. The manager offered and brought a special sauce to try that they normally serve with their chicken chicken sandwich that was superbly tasty and tangy. More than impressed with my entree, I elected to try a desert and was recommended the S'mores pie by my waitress. The deliciously buttery crust was my favorite part of the ensemble and blended well with the savory chocolate filling topped with a toasted marshmallow. While a bit pricey for lunch compared to most places, I was more than satisfied with the offerings provided here and would love to visit Ember and Iron again. Give my number one choice of 2026 thus far some love!

They were very good and perfect for ketchup and other sauces. I'm always glad when a fish fry place has malt vinegar available. That means they're serious! Lol. The fish is lightly breaded and very flaky. The coleslaw is creamy and sweet. I didn't try the clam strips, but they looked good! And the tacos were very tasty! The restaurant is super clean! And the restrooms are super clean as well! It's a very plainly decorated eating establishment, but very comfortable as well. When we walked in, we went to the counter and checked out their lunch specials. The $10 lunch special includes a main, fries, and a drink. Some of the items on the lunch special were a fish fry, fish tacos, clam roll, shrimp roll, etc. I ordered the fish tacos, my dad ordered the fish fry, and my mom got a clam roll. Everything was made to order. Our items came out roughly 7 minutes after we ordered. For $10 you get a sizeable fish fry, for $10 you get two fish tacos and a plentiful side of fries, and the clam roll was chockfull of clam strips. The fish was perfectly fried. It wasn't heavy, it was light and crisp. I loved the addition of the remoulade sauce. The fries were delicious. I would definitely come back here again.

My biggest complaint was all of it came out lukewarm, not even close to hot, like the food had been sitting there awhile before it made it to us, cool meatballs were not good, like mushy consistency. The burgers were tasty, surprisingly the salmon was my favorite of the 3 dishes we got! But left thinking everything would have tasted better if actually served hot and fresh.
