This place was awesome!!! We were in town for the weekend for a concert and we came here two nights in a row! First of all, if you love craft beer, video games/pinball - this place is for you! BUT also.... Grilled Cheese!!!! WOW, literally the best grilled cheese I've ever had. Walking in, the place was packed and you can tell that people loved to hang out there. The bar was easy to access and we were able to get beers pretty quickly. The bartender was super nice and friendly. We got our beers and explored the games. We played a little bit of pinball and basketball. We came back to the bar and were able to sit and order a couple more beers, and of course - try one of their grilled cheeses. They had SO many different combinations. They had an option to create your own but there was no way I'd be able to create something that they hadn't already. We landed on the Philly Grilly..... it was FANTASTIC!!!! The next day when we came back... we just had to order it again lol!! It's on sourdough and it was nice and soft, plenty of meat and cheese inside... and it comes with a bag of potato chips. Just amazing... a MUST place to go if you're in town! Definitely will be back and try some other grilled cheese when we are back in town! read more

This is a great place to take kids! It is an old school arcade with games that take actual quarters! They have food, but we didn't eat here. It is cool inside and the staff was so friendly. In the back there are bunch of pin ball games and I think my husband and I had more fun then the kids we were with! A great rainy day activity! read more

Stopped by Sarbez while in town for the Fort Mose Jazz and Blues Series, and this spot was such a vibe. I went with the Hashton Kutcher and wow. This grilled cheese is stacked with cheddar, sausage, a fried egg, crispy hash browns, and their spicy mayo. It is hearty, rich, and packed with flavor in every bite. Comfort food done right and then taken up a notch. They also have a solid cider lineup. I tried the Cider Boys Strawberry and it was crisp, refreshing, and a perfect match with the sandwich. Add in classic arcade games and a laid back atmosphere, and Sarbez! easily becomes a must stop when you are in St Augustine. Great food, fun drinks, and good energy all around. read more

Listen, I think this is such a fun place, but you took the quarter game away! The one where it pushes quarters off the edge to win prizes/money. That was literally the best game in the place! I really like the food and the atmosphere is fun, but without that game, the motivation to drive from Jax to visit just won't be there anymore. I'm sure the decision was made for a good reason but it's sad! read more

Sarbez - Mario Kart racing. You and 4 friends can race each other! - Cafes Near Me - Saint Augustine, Florida

Fun little spot. Arcade inside. Full house when we went in. Prices were fair, big menu. I ordered 6 grilled cheeses each came with a bag of chips. I also got 6 drinks 2 of the kombucha on tap which were Blood Orange. My total was $101. Which was wild I honestly expected it to be more, regardless it was great service, delicous food as we all ate everything. The only grilled cheese that came home was from my 5 year old. Inside has plenty of seating, and the kombucha was perfect. Great spot! read more

The food was delicious and served steaming hot. The bartender who took our orders was attentive and friendly. I ordered the turkey melt and my bf got the hashton Kutcher and holy hell were they delicious. I imagined feeling gross after eating something airing on the side of comfort, but nope, went down the hatch and left me feeling good and ready to trek around st Augustine. If you're in the area, definitely give it a shot. read more

Our experience here was so great that we returned the following night! After arriving to St. Augustine, we decided to visit Sarbez as an option to get a quick dinner and also have some fun before heading back to our AirBnB. Our highlights include: - The ability to create customized grilled cheese sandwiches with tons of options to choose from. (And they were quite delicious) - The atmosphere and environment. - The firm stance in letting people know that ALL are welcome, and hatred of any kind would not be tolerated. No excuses. - Many gaming options in multiple rooms. - Being open late enough for us to return for a second visit after an evening concert at the ampitheatre. read more

A random and amazing spot in STA that never disappoints. We've been a handful of times and it's just such an easy and chill spot. Decently cheap drinks and they have a solid selection of beers and ciders. So many game options - I love that you can hang and watch your friends or pick up and play whatever you want. Staff are friendly and we haven't had any issues. Cheers! read more

Absolutely love this place!! Not only do they have a great selection of beer, but their grilled cheeses are AMAZING! Easily the best grilled cheese I've ever had! There are so many awesome and nostalgic games here - we were shocked at how big the place was! They have machines to get change for quarters, most games are $1. They also had live music which was fun. There's so much to do here and we had a great time! The decorations were also so fun and unique, this is a must-go spot in St Augustine! read more

Sarbez is such a fun place! Great anytime but especially if you need some time inside away from the heat or something for the kids to be entertained with if it's raining! Such a fun atmosphere and just filled with great nostalgic decor! Staff are always pleasant and the food comes out so fast! Our kids had such a blast playing video games while we waited! We're so thankful we stumbled upon this place! We easily lost hours in here playing all the games, soaking in all the surroundings. Every corner you come around is another dopamine decor dose. Best way to spend a rainy evening! We had so much fun playing pinball, Mario kart, and other games. The games mostly cost $1 and there are plenty of change machines and ATMs. They have a diverse selection of beers as well as alternatives like cider and mead at reasonable prices. My fiance had the Philly Grilly and I had a custom vegan grilled cheese with tempeh and we both loved our food. The sarbez sauce is a must! The decor is fun and unique and there are so many games to choose from. On a busy night you might have to pay to park but it's worth it. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful too. Fun place to hang out with or without the kids! We definitely all had a great time with one other family one Friday night. Kids were off spending tons of money on the games while the parents hung out, drinking their cider/beer/wine. Games were all in good condition and good working order. Just remember to bring hand sanitizer. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean which I was thankful for. Friendly service at the counter where you place food and drink orders. Food options are mainly a variety of grilled cheese which were all done really well. I had the hashton Kutcher which tasted great but was so greasy. I realize there's no way around that considering what's in it but I would never go for that again. Keep in mind you will be kicked out at like 8PM if you are there with kids. It turns into 18+ only after that and then 21+ only after 10? I believe. This is written on 1 of the boards and they will enforce it. read more

This is the best little dive bar around and they specialize in a grilled cheese sandwich! It doesn't get much better than that! We originally found this arcade bar on Yelp with its amazing reviews. I was more impressed with their sandwiches than I was with all the arcade games. There's games everywhere! A couple different rooms with all kinds of arcade games including a giant Pac-Man, basketball, skeeball, pinball, etc. We walked up to the front counter and ordered 2 grilled cheese special sandwiches. These are not just bread and cheese! The first one we ordered was a Philly Grilled Cheese which included meat, cheese, peppers and onions. The second one we ordered had Mango and Avocado!! It was delicious!! This dive bar is open to people of all ages during the day and has age restrictions at night. I'd definitely recommend trying out this bar especially if you're from out of town. It's something you've never seen before! read more

The grilled cheeses alone will keep me coming back my only suggestion is to add one with onions and peppers! We got 3 and shared them all and omg never In my life was I so satisfied Over a grilled cheese.. but let me tell you these are not just your regular grilled cheeses.. they are way funkier and I mean that in the highest compliment possible. Seriously go by and try this place. The layout of this place is a stage in the front. During designated nights of the weeks they have planned live bands. We came her with my friend to see her cousins band play. They were great, and the bands following them were too so it was a really fun night. The back of the house is a arcade, how fun!! After we listened to music we went back and played a couple of games before we left. The beer was good and the servers were really nice! I can't wait to try another grilled cheese the next time I come back!!! read more
