Stopped by Sarbez while in town for the Fort Mose Jazz and Blues Series, and this spot was such a vibe. I went with the Hashton Kutcher and wow. This grilled cheese is stacked with cheddar, sausage, a fried egg, crispy hash browns, and their spicy mayo. It is hearty, rich, and packed with flavor in every bite. Comfort food done right and then taken up a notch. They also have a solid cider lineup. I tried the Cider Boys Strawberry and it was crisp, refreshing, and a perfect match with the sandwich. Which was wild I honestly expected it to be more, regardless it was great service, delicous food as we all ate everything. The only grilled cheese that came home was from my 5 year old. I ordered the turkey melt and my bf got the hashton Kutcher and holy hell were they delicious. Best way to spend a rainy evening! We had so much fun playing pinball, Mario kart, and other games. The games mostly cost $1 and there are plenty of change machines and ATMs. They have a diverse selection of beers as well as alternatives like cider and mead at reasonable prices. My fiance had the Philly Grilly and I had a custom vegan grilled cheese with tempeh and we both loved our food. The sarbez sauce is a must! The decor is fun and unique and there are so many games to choose from. On a busy night you might have to pay to park but it's worth it. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful too. Fun place to hang out with or without the kids! We definitely all had a great time with one other family one Friday night. Kids were off spending tons of money on the games while the parents hung out, drinking their cider/beer/wine. Games were all in good condition and good working order. Just remember to bring hand sanitizer. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean which I was thankful for. Friendly service at the counter where you place food and drink orders. Food options are mainly a variety of grilled cheese which were all done really well. I had the hashton Kutcher which tasted great but was so greasy. I realize there's no way around that considering what's in it but I would never go for that again. Keep in mind you will be kicked out at like 8PM if you are there with kids. This is the best little dive bar around and they specialize in a grilled cheese sandwich! It doesn't get much better than that! We originally found this arcade bar on Yelp with its amazing reviews. I was more impressed with their sandwiches than I was with all the arcade games. There's games everywhere! A couple different rooms with all kinds of arcade games including a giant Pac-Man, basketball, skeeball, pinball, etc. We walked up to the front counter and ordered 2 grilled cheese special sandwiches. These are not just bread and cheese! The first one we ordered was a Philly Grilled Cheese which included meat, cheese, peppers and onions. The second one we ordered had Mango and Avocado!! It was delicious!! This dive bar is open to people of all ages during the day and has age restrictions at night. I'd definitely recommend trying out this bar especially if you're from out of town. Stayed at a nearby hotel and walked to the restaurant on 10 JUN 25. First thing we noticed was 'glad we walked' because there's really no parking. Ordered a turkey and gouda grilled cheese on rye. Each piece of the rye bread was about 1/4" thick and quite good. However, they skimp royally on fillings - minimal cheese and ONE SLICE of turkey!! It was the equivalent of the pre-packaged turkey you get in the grocery store plastic container. Again - ONE slice. I took my sandwich apart and folded all ingredients on to one side so I could have a decent sandwich. It came with a bag of chips and you have to ask for a pickle - which I did, but did not receive. Selection of local beer available. They have to do better, but you can to - walk over the bridge to the Grilled Cheese shop near the Cathedral! read more

Before you go, understand that there is very very little parking. This, and staff attitude, were so problematic that I left. Upon arrival, I drove around the block twice and only one side of the building has any spaces, maybe 6-8 cars? I called them for info on where to park. The man who answered said there was "parking on the other side". I clarified he meant the other side of their building? "No not the other side of the building" ...and then no further explanation. I was like "Um not sure what that means?" The noise volume on his end was bad, and it definitely felt like he really wasn't interested in helping and seemed rushed to get off the phone. He said "good luck" before he hung up. Drove around again. It appeared that across the street they used spaces from another business because several people parked there and crossed the street for Sarbez. Zero signage to explain any of this is permitted, so who knows if they got towed? Just as I was about to get the last spot, some d$ck very belligerently and dangerously cut me off and stole it, then ignored me and got out to walk into Sarbez as I sat there. The vibe I got was that no one at the restaurant can/will help with the awful parking, regulars know that and will fight you to get a last spot, and they do this because you most likely will get ticketed or towed anywhere else, with residences surrounding the restaurant. I called again to ask what the local street parking rules were because again, no signage anywhere. This time no answer. I was literally idling outside the door and saw a male employee walk outside for a break, so I presume this was the former phone-answerer? I live parked and ran in to ask for help. Not a sole employee in there aside from one bartender who was helping people, then disappeared as I approached. People were just seating themselves, wandering around, or sitting at the bar. I took some pictures, still not one single employee. I'd walked past the guy on break but he didn't come in at any time to help the chaos. 5:15pm isn't really the time to take a break in the restaurant biz. I could have interrupted his break but didn't want to be disrespectful of his time, and when I passed him I fully expected at least ONE employee to be inside. Honestly no one there had an approachable vibe, and I had my preschooler with me so despite the game-and-grilled cheese ambiance, the all-adult crowd and "don't do coke in the bathroom" neon sign, paired with unavailable staff, just told me to "get out". So we left. We went to Grilled Cheese Gallery in downtown St. Augustine (where we'd been a couple years ago), and the attitude there was so welcoming and helpful; 180 degrees different from the cold "every man for himself" barn atmosphere at Sarbez. read more

We got 3 and shared them all and omg never In my life was I so satisfied Over a grilled cheese.. but let me tell you these are not just your regular grilled cheeses.. they are way funkier and I mean that in the highest compliment possible. Seriously go by and try this place. The layout of this place is a stage in the front. During designated nights of the weeks they have planned live bands. We came her with my friend to see her cousins band play. They were great, and the bands following them were too so it was a really fun night. The back of the house is a arcade, how fun!! An easy to digest place with something for everyone. Grilled cheeses are amazing, I always get the Hashton Kutcher with bacon and gouda. I'm not much of a drinker but often enough they have one of the few drinks I do like, that being the Bee Nectar Zombie Killer, it's a mead and it's delicious. Bartenders are always attentive and nice. The place has a nice collage of artworks and different aesthetics going on and has plenty of places to get away from the noise and enjoy yourself. The arcade is good fun and has plenty of variety from pinball to Mario Kart to shooters. When I wind up going out with friends/coworkers when they're wanting a drink, I always suggest Sarbez. read more
