Sent them back and they made them crispy but had an unusual taste to them. We ordered the 15 (30) wings and it was horrible. Not edible. I mean my son and I had a wing that when we bit in and started chewing we had to spit out into a napkin. My daughter that is 4 got the boneless wing and were okay I guess. Me and my fiancé usually tend to stop and grab food from here when we're visiting St. Augustine because it is one of the only places that is open late and the food has been great every time that we have ordered to-go. This recent trip I decided to get a cheeseburger and it came with side options, of which I chose fries. The burger was cooked very nicely and the cheese was melted perfectly. The bread of the bun was also very soft and all of the food combined to a very nice flavor. The fries were good but I had to add a little salt to them to make them to my taste. My fiancé got the chicken philly and in it was Grilled Chicken, it was also loaded up with sautéed onions, sautéed peppers and covered in their homemade cheese sauce. I am not crazy for cheese sauces but this one was amazing! Overall it is a great little place that seems to be very local in terms of the customers so everyone is very friendly and knows each other. I randomly chose this location bc it was the weekend before New Years and Historic downtown was flooded with people trying to park and I was meeting others to watch our favorite football teams (Me: New Orleans Saints, Others: Jacksonville Jaguars). Since this was the closes restaurant to Historic Downtown, Sunday Fun Day, I figured we could walk over the Lions Bridge afterwards to wander Historic St Augustine. Which ended up being a great idea! This place was surprisingly amazing. From the outside, it appears run down but when you enter the building everything was clean and well maintained. The outside does have a large nice porch for those beautiful sunny Florida days. When you enter, don't expect someone to sit you, all seating is first come first serve so grab a seat. The restaurant has a dividing wall that separates the "Bar" area and "Restaurant" area but no matter where you sit there are lots of TVs, so great for game days! We were able to watch both games, due to the amount of TVs. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and Crinkle fries. The burger was so juicy and delicious, it tasted as if it just came off an outdoor BBQ grill and don't skip on the Homemade Burger Sauce! I added the sauce to my burger and used some to dip fries, it was sooo Yummy! On Sundays they have $5 open to close drink specials which include Candlelight Bloody Marys, Classic Bloody Marys, Mimosas, and loaded Coronas. I had a Mimosa and loaded Corona, both were ice cold and tasty! I like they make your mimosa using a mini Champagne bottle and they give you the bottle that contains the reminder of the champagne for a refill. They also do this with your loaded Corona, they actually bring you a shot glass with the corona they poured out, in order, to add the shot of Bacardi! You get what you pay for, which is an awesome concept! This place is great for friends, family, or just single seating. I definitely plan to revisit and look forward to trying some other food options, as everything looked tasty! read more
