I always have a great time at this bar! No frills, no fuss, just drinks, music, and good vibes. Yeah the floors are sticky, the cups are plastic, but bestie and I had a blast singing and dancing and drinking here with the cover band friday night! Def an all ages crowd :-) the florda tea shots were super yummy!

No trip to St Augustine would be complete without a stop at the bar with no name. My kids love it! Perfect spot........right across the street from the fort. Always great service. I've never tried the food here, but the menu looks good. I've always gone during off times, but this place gets packed in the evenings. Live music usually after dark. Will definitely make quick stops at The Bar With No Name when we are in St Augustine.

Great dive bar and people watching. The rum and coke was not to bad. Lol

Great place to stop by and have a drink while either playing ring hole, socializing, or admiring the beautiful view of the fort located across the street!

Beautiful fort view

Hubby and I were walking around while spending the day together in St. Augustine. We walked by The Bar With No Name and decided to give them a whirl. It was a beautiful day out so he grabbed a high top table outside while I ordered a couple brews from the bar. They had a pretty good selection. I chose the local Jax options from Intuition and Engine 15. Both tried and true. The view of the fort is tough to beat! Located right on Castillo Drive, you can walk over very easily from anywhere in the historic district. There is also a trolley stop a few minutes away. It's a dive bar for sure but one that seems to welcome all kinds. Most definitely worth a visit!

This is a place to see and to say that you were here. The beer is good but in small cups. They have your typical bar food. The location is cool.

Super, open-aired, jolly place to stop in and have a few drinks before going to a dinner or on your way home after strolling downtown St. Augustine! Our bartender was so awesome - she guided me into ordering one of their signature cocktails! Delicious! Likewise, she carried on a great banter with my husband and me! It's, also, moderately-priced, great for watching sports, and the decor is "old town!" Love it! The bar faces a heavily-trafficked area, so if you are a people watcher, you're in for a treat! In addition, the music played over the speakers is lively and current! Tip: Sit outside on the patio!

Rum and coke

We come here every time we visit St Augustine. We love the atmosphere and the deliciously worst rum and cokes lol

They are proud of this review

Great dive bar. Never saw such a great location for such a crappy bar(affectionately speaking)

Amazing views

My go to for a mermaid! Good loud alternative music with a great view of Fort and St Augustine inner coastal!

Tony and I were walking around the city of St Augustine Florida, checking out the sites and shops. We stumbled across this little pub very close to the harbour and the Fort, with beautiful views that even included the bridge and lighthouse on Charlotte Street. Strange name, No Name Bar! I would have to give it a beautiful name to go with it's beautiful location. I went inside and got Tony a PBR and myself a glass of Ice Water. We sat outside on the lovely deck enjoying the gorgeous view and slight breeze off the water. A perfect day!! After drinking, we continued our stroll of the city. The bar is very lovely inside and out. Bartender friendly. Smoking outside available not a lot of parking, but we were walking so perfect for us!

Ask the Community - The Bar With No Name

Saw a band here 7/28/18 during the day. Dad was lead singer/guitar and son was on drums. Great Sound!! They had cd and T-shirt's but I left without getting the name !!! Anyone know the band name?

Unfortunately, Bar with No Name only posts their night bands. I'm not familiar with this duo, what was the genre?

This place was a wonderful obviously fun no name bar , the bartenders went above and beyond to maintain drinks and kept good casual talk.

So I was finally starting to feel better and now I want another Xanax. Customers were cool and liked I could smoke inside, but that was about it. Also, as a bartender as well I hope this adds some validity.

The male server was attentive and competent but my craft beer was poured as a low abv sour and not my Swamphead IPA hazy request, which was switched out quickly. My Prohibition Burger & Egg was seasoned perfectly and the boiled cajun peanuts had a nice unexpected spicy kick. Aside from the tasty eats, the beautiful 1920's themed bar is notably a mixologists dream. Maybe add a true Speak Easy to the place which would be a cool addition. There was a walk thru to a pricey steakhouse, but not hidden so not really a Speak Easy concept if that was the intent.

The food was good across the board. The burgers stood out as the highlight juicy, flavorful, and cooked well. The fries and appetizers were also solid, and portions were generous enough to leave satisfied. The drink menu is extensive too, with a strong cocktail selection that fits the whole Prohibition theme. Service was friendly and generally on point, even though it was busy. The staff kept things moving and checked in without being intrusive.

We came for St. Patty's Day on a Tuesday (Happy Hour/Mexican Fiesta Night) and they offered $1 Tacos, $3 Margaritas & Coronas and free Trivia @ 8:30pm (after Happy Hours). This place was super busy and the entire staff really takes care of their customers. Food and drinks were coming out fast. FYI: Happy Hour - Monday through Friday 4pm to 7pm: Two for one well-drinks, draft beers, and house wines. There is plenty of seating and they have 10 HD satellite TV's including our giant HD projection TV along with a surround sound speaker system. In addition, they also have a dart room with 2 spacious dart lanes and fully equipped dart supply case. Very welcoming environment. You have the option to sit inside, but they also have an outside patio that's pretty cool and smoker friendly where you can enjoy some beers and affordable menu items. My favorite was definitely the fish tacos ($9), but we also ordered plenty of the $1 tacos, too. Ask for their signature Gypsy House Dressing. They also sell it by the bottle ($8) to take home with you. And if you have room, I recommend trying their homemade Hazelnut Ice Box Cake and the Tiramisu. The peanut butter pie was excellent as well. Really....just try all of their desserts. :) They print out a daily appetizer and food menu from the Gypsy Cab Co. as they are obviously owned by the same people. This place was packed full of locals and was surprised at how little Yelp reviews I see here. I think locals try to keep this place a secret. Overall, this is a definite gem worth visiting if you happen to be in the area.
